Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Europe

Just came back from spending 2 nights here and the stay was incredible. The pictures don’t do the place or scenery any justice at all! It’s a must visit, especially the 2 farm cats they were our best pals by the end of the stay. Would definitely recommend 🙂

An absolutely dreamy escape for two! complete with scenic views, and enough special touches to feel at home. Fiona made everything so comfortable and we look forward to coming back!

Ausgezeichnete Lage, abgeschieden und ruhig in wunderschöner Umgebung in den Vogesen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer telefonisch erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft - wir konnten super abschalten und die Natur genießen!

Perfect location for relaxing, everything you need, even homemade cake, yummy, and walking if you want to, although some quite steep hills. We walked to Watermouth Castle, then took a bus to Ilfracombe, we walked to Coombe Martin then over the hills and back. Watch the bus times tho! The outside bath is a must and the fresh flowers and milk are a lovely extra touch too! Be careful to duck in and out of the horsebox door but the shower is hot and powerful. We had a lovely time in our little piece of North Devon for a long weekend 😀

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

Lucy's retreat was a beautiful place to stay, the perfect couples getaway. She left local reccomendations, great directions, a birthday banner and even some treats for us, such thoughtful touches. Everything was perfect and spotless, great place to take our dog to. I couldn't reccomend this place enough thanks so much for a lovely getaway *****

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Perfect quiet getaway with our 3 month old baby. Did get very hot due to heatwave, but lots of windows that can be opened and through draught. Amazing location, good kitchen, 2 hobs, fridge with freezer box section, good set of kitchenware. Bathroom, lovely shower and toiletries. All round perfect for our getway

An honest to God location plucked straight from a fairytale book! This place is simply MAGICAL! We had the most beautiful, romantic and relaxing stay here enjoying the peace and quiet in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows by the fire. The wagon combines all the comforts of home with a rustic fun atmosphere to it. Word of advice - one night isn't enough! book at least two to explore the area as well (there's a nice pub within walking distance).

Nicola was the most fantastic host and made the weekend away for my parents truly special. They have both said they will be back! Could not recommend highly enough.

An incredible and idyllic spot to stay, the hut is so cosy and has everything you need! Being set in the field overlooking the countryside is stunning, waking up and seeing the cows and sheep was lovely! The check in couldn't be simpler, a cart is left to bring luggage on the short walk to the hut. I would recommend this stay to anyone!

Such a wonderful stay! The hut is spacious yet cosy, with a lovely view in a peaceful setting on the farm. The hut has everything you need, including a free to use bbq with firelighters, coal, etc. The friendly dogs and the wildlife on the doorstep were great too. Lots of nice walks from the farm through lovely villages. Felt very relaxed and recharged after a weekend here and would love to come back!

We had a lovely two night stay at The Salt Hut which is in an ideal location for exploring the area. It had all the facilities we needed and the property was described accuratey. The owners were very welcoming and communication with them was very easy.

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

We stayed here for a break away from our home renovations and I can’t explain how peaceful and lovely it was. Fiona met us on arrival and was so helpful with showing us around, brought us some milk and was really friendly. The accommodation itself was beautiful with some stunning finishing touches, the sun beds under the pergola were a dream with a morning coffee and we enjoyed watching some DVDs and seeing all the animals and wildlife. We spent the day in the Yorkshire Dales which is always beautiful and we can’t wait to return to Fiona’s place and experience it all again!

Wow - what a magical place to stay. Daniel has created a beautiful get-away, and so close to the beach. We were amazed at the craft that has gone into making the shephard's hut, hot tub and sauna, and the garden room! Hot tub: We enjoyed our prosecco in the hot tub which was great. The tub has colour changing lights and got nice and hot. It was quite dark and stormy when we went in which only added to the experience! We just kept saying "wow." Lovely white towel robes too. Sauna: Sauna was fab and heated up very quickly. Cold shower close by to cool down with. Garden room: lovely little chill out area. Little hang drum, a guitar (bottom string missing), ukulele and a cool darts board which was great fun (dart plastic a bit worn) but nonetheless great fun. Shephards hut: very cosy, comfy bed and great nights sleep. Bathroom clean and great smelling soap. Area: relaxed, and local JJ's chippy was excellent and had great food at Paul Jones restaurant. Lots of shells on the beach

Sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre in der Unterkunft, idyllischer See 5 Gehminuten entfernt, sehr guter Umgang mit den Tieren, alles in allem gibt es rein gar nichts auszusetzen. Unser Highlight war der Erste Blick aus dem Fenster am Morgen um den Schäfchen beim grasen zuzuschauen. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind kommen wir sehr gerne noch einmal vorbei :)

I booked this break for my wife’s birthday, we did little shop just up the road at Tesco then found address easy with Apple Maps, Donna came straight out to welcome us, showed us around, introduced us to dogs after checking we were ok with them, then she left us to enjoy our stay, we loved the hot tub whilst listening to the birds singing and visiting the feeders, we cooked on the bbq. The surroundings were so peaceful and was great to unwind and recharge in the most beautiful setting. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Had absolutely everything you could need for a weekend getaway. The shepherds hut was incredible and had been furnished beautifully. The outdoor area is a great bonus and means you can still enjoy being outside even if it rains. Lots of lovely walks close by. Can't wait to go back!

Myself and my hubby couldn't of enjoyed our stay more, it was just what we needed. Pure blissful! Everything was perfect, will most definitely be back again.

I had a wonderful stay in the Shepherd’s Hut. The location was perfect, just a very short walk to the beach with good local shops and transport access if needed. It was exactly as described. It was very clean, well equipped with immaculate linens and a super outdoor space to relax in. They provide a comprehensive, useful guide to the hut itself as well as local beaches and the surrounding area. Glyn and Harriet were great hosts , introducing them selves, making me feel welcome and shared information to help with my stay. I will stay again as it provided the perfect escape in a beautiful location.
