Lighthouse holiday rentals in Europe

Lest die guten Bewertungen, da steht schon alles drin - und es stimmt tatsächlich: Der Turm ist außergewöhnlich und etwas für Menschen, die das Besondere suchen. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und dem Turm gut angepasst. Es ist ein wunderbares altes Gebäude, bei dem auch mal etwas Farbe von der Wand rieselt - das passiert nun mal bei einem historischen Gebäude und gehört zu seinem ganz eigenen, großartigen Charakter. Wir haben es dort sehr genossen, vor allem den Ausblick von der Turmplattform. Wo sonst sieht man vom Haus die Sonne im Meer aufgehen - und im Meer wieder versinken. Das tut sie besonders schön bei einem Glas Vermentino frizzante. Hoch das Glas auf diesen tollen Turm!

Foarte ok camera, curata, casa este destul de aproape de scarile care duc la cetate. A fost liniste, nu ne-a deranjat nimeni, gazda a fost disponibila pentru orice intrebare.

Wonderful place for a family of three. Right next to the beach (literally 2min) and lovely shared gardens to relax in. We felt so fortunate for the location with wonderful views, sunsets and sea and a lovely breeze kept us cool in the night. The place is very simple with minimal amenities and kitchen equipment but we didn’t need much more for our stay even though we cooked simple meals often at the apartment. Bed linen and towels are not included in the fee which is quite unusual but the host arranged for some be hired at an extra fee. We loved our stay on the island and hope to come back!

Es ist ein wundervoller Ort! Egal, wo man sich im Garten aufhält, sieht man immer etwas Schönes. Man fühlt sich eher in Italien als in Böhmen, es wirkte, zumindest auf uns, fast mediterran. Das Haus ist in einem nahezu unveränderten Zustand, voller Geschichte, aber dennoch komfortabel. Mit am schönsten fanden wir den Speiseraum mit Zugang zum Garten, der uns 15 Personen ausreichend Platz bot. Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder. Ach ja, von dort aus kommt man mit dem Zug auch schnell nach Prag. Muss man aber nicht.

Heerlijk rustig. Alles wat ik nodig had was op de fiets aan te rijden. Wat een mooie bijkomstigheid was is dat het lekker weer was tijdens mijn verblijf. Hierdoor had ik mooi uitzicht. Derk vertelde mij dat er regelmatig reeën naast de watertoren lopen, helaas heb ik deze gemist.

Our stay at Kathryn and Jeremy’s cottage was unmatched. The location is spectacular, great for bird watching and ship watching and for finding gorgeous rocks and sea shells at the shore. There is also an excellent coffee shop just down the road. The cottage itself is also excellent, with fantastic amenities and a wonderful welcome package. Jeremy went above and beyond to make our visit to Aberdeen special and we will certainly be back :) cannot recommend more highly

Stay in and next to a lighthouse is quite a unique experience. We enjoyed a lot having Isla Pancha just for us, and also being at 30’ by foot from the center were we could taste the local cuisine. I totally recommend it!

Hugo und seine Freundin sind sehr gute Gastgeber. Sie haben sich nicht nur ein einzigartiges Heim geschaffen, sondern sind auch hervorragende Gastgeber. Wir wurden nicht nur mit Tipps für Unternehmungen sondern auch mit Oliven und Feigen aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Wir durften auch ihre Räder und das Stand-up-paddle benutzen. Es war für uns eine unvergessliche Zeit dort. P.S. In den Zimmern gibt es Klimaanlagen! :-)

Attention, il faut grimper les 4 étages donc un peu de souffle requis, mais c’était prévisible. Les environs sont splendides, typiquement bretons, et les habitants très accueillants. Une belle parenthèse !”

Awesome place, and a very nice luxury house that made our stay and experience just much better! You also have a feeling like you’re on your own private beach plus you can enjoy the jacuzzi with a view to the sea and sunset. Definitely recommend if you are looking for relaxing time and a real rest (vacation). The island is beautiful and lots to see there. You can take a cruise to a different island, visit different beaches on Brac and enjoy great local food. Croatians are very polite and friendly people so if you need help with anything you can count on that. The hosts were great! When we arrived, they walked us through everything and left a gift for us (snacks, drinks, fruit, etc.). The house has everything you need and more including the grill, kayak, bikes, fishing rods. We absolutely loved it here and plan on coming back :)

We can’t speak highly enough about this spot! It was honestly one of the best and most unique places we’ve ever stayed. Jeremy, Catherine‘s husband welcomed us upon check in and gave us the lay of the land and plenty of recommendations. He was so lovely and so helpful. The place was even more beautiful than the picture showed. 20 out of 10 and would absolutely stay here again.

The place is lovely, very calm and quiet and beautiful views. It's a very clean and well kept place. A lot of nature and a escape from reality. I hope we can go back there as it is completely worth it.

This is a special place ! every windows has a view on the sea because of the amazing location. the house itself is done very nicely which reflects the dedication of the owner to create this unique experience. we felt at home and loved it. We will be back .

we were blown away with the accomodation and location, perfectly located on the coast path with amazing views and fantastic walking. we had a dog with us and it was perfect, secure accomodation and yard and fantastic walking

Location and owners worthy of mention. Fantastic thank you . Error with gate code unfortunate but can be resolved with better documentation control and accuracy from finest retreats ? End of stay ruined by builders starting work before 09:00 on final day of stay , back garden and rear deck-unusable for last hour. Extremely noisy and front of property like a car park, such a shame when it had been a wildlife haven all week. Please deconflict building work and rental ?

Ugelangt ophold, men ikke et sekund for langt. Den fredede lejlighed var helt perfekt i alle henseender. Vesterhavet og det omkringliggende Hanstholm gjorde sit til, at dette blev en uforglemmelig oplevelse.

Der Leuchtturm ist etwas sehr besonderes: Abgelegen, idyllisch und mit allem Nötigen eingerichtet! Wir konnten unseren Urlaub so wie wir ihn uns vorgestellt haben, genießen (Fischen, Baden, Bootfahren und die einzigartige Privatsphäre) Daniela ist eine super freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die einem alles einfach erklärt und Fragen sofort umfassend beantwortet. Bsp.: Sie uns zu exzellenten, preiswerten und regionalen Olivenöl/ Wein verholfen oder Insider-Wissen der Insel mit uns geteilt (Konzert in einer speziellen Bucht) Gerne wieder!

About the location: The location is amazing. Far from everything, calm, peaceful, beauty of Barents Sea just outside, whales jumping out of the water, beautiful landscape and nice trail (well indicated) to enjoy this end-of-the-world place. About the house: a very authentic and pleasant house, with multiple rooms and beds, a well equipped kitchen, fantastic views. About the host: Helge is probably the most pleasant host I have met. He organized everything days before my arrival, explaining me everything, took me and pick me up from the house with his own boat, was so kind to show me the boarder before I leave and told me stories about Kirkenes... thanks a lot !
