In one word: paradise! In addition to the absolutely extraordinary hospitality and kindness of Albane and Julien, the quality of the cottage and the park that surrounds it, which has marked us the most and which we particularly appreciated is the calm that reigns in this place almost out of time. That being said, enjoying the pool, lunch in the sun, contemplating the river flowing peacefully, listening to the wind in the trees, snuggling into the cocoon that this mill is once dark, also delighted us. It's simple: at the time of writing this review, I hesitate to publish it as the desire to return is strong and the fear that it is available is present.

Very pleasant stay in this comfortable, spacious Airbnb where nothing was missing and where we were very well received. Our grandchildren were sad to leave after having a very good vacation. We hope to be back one of these days! Many thanks Jane. Marylene and Simon

The house is exceptional and the host is just as exceptional. Everything was perfect, down to the smallest details and attentions. It was even better than anything I could see/imagine. The host is lovely and gave us a great welcome. I can only recommend this place and I will definitely come back!

Great stay in this beautiful house, impeccably clean and equipped with everything you need. The peaceful environment, the heated pool and the large fenced garden are perfect for children. We were warmly welcomed by Eugenie and her husband, always available but discreet and with delicate attention (bouquet of roses and peonies on arrival and small local gifts). Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Such a beautiful stay at Evelyne’s place. Gite is exactly like the photos and the garden and pool area is stunning.

Francois made us feel at home straight away, his English was good although we like to communicate in French. He showed us his lovely home which was more like a lived in home than a Airbnb. Which made it much more homely. There were some lovely touches like goodies on the table for us. There was plenty of outdoor space although the weather was rather chilly. Francois provided good bikes which were in the barn next door along with a ping pong table and barbecue. There was a local village 2.5 K away with a fabulous Boulangerie, and the town of Verneuil sur Avre nearby which was stunning!

A great weekend in a quiet and relaxing setting! Very well located accommodation close to shops and major roads. We'll be happy to come back ☀️

Perfect house for a weekend in the countryside 1 hour from Paris. The house is neat and warm and the garden perfect for children. Lots of activities in the area on the good advice of Marion! We had a great time and highly recommend it!

One of the paradises on earth. The environment both inside and outside was beautiful, well-kept and inviting. The house has everything we needed and a little more. The surroundings were beautiful and relaxing. Both Alexandre and Nathalie were friendly, pleasant and accommodating. Everything about this lovely accommodation was great!!! Fantastic.

A peaceful haven to recharge and enjoy the impeccable accommodation with the pool and jacuzzi. Perfect for a relaxing moment with a view of nature. Morning coffee will no longer taste the same.

My family stayed here whilst we attended local wedding and it was just perfect for us all. Beautifully decorated and designed it was a joy to stay. Plenty of bathrooms meant no delays in leaving for the special day and the relaxing atmosphere of the house helped us recoup before returning to the UK. Thank you for sharing your house, it was the cherry on the cake of a glorious week.

Very nice house, decorated with care, quiet, very nice garden and a beautiful forest nearby. Hosts very responsive to messages, we had a very good stay and will happily come back.

Memorable stay spent with cousins. The setting was relaxing. A moment suspended in time with a view that allowed us to escape the tumult of everyday life. Pierre was a warm and very welcoming host. He recommended us very good places and was easy to reach. It feels like home. Small aside: the sunrise is breathtaking. A bike path is accessible if you want to run nearby :)

This is one of the nicest airbnbs we’ve stayed in. It was immaculate. To sit on the terrace and watch the boats go by and listen to the amazing birdsong was one of the highlights of the holiday. The house is lovely, very comfortable with everything you could need. Marie Gabrielle was more than helpful and very patient with our late arrival! We would definitely come back.

I highly recommend you choose this beautiful house. This experience was perfect from start to finish. Laura is a wonderful host, always available and attentive. The house is simply perfect, the games inside and outside made our children happy. The house was clean and perfectly tidy. All amenities were functional. Laurent's house is located not far from the ruins of an 11th century castle under renovation. The house and its gardens are unveiled through a beautiful green courtyard. Every detail of the decor is designed to make you dream. The living space is superb. We were able to enjoy almost everything the house and garden had to offer, and there is plenty to do. The kitchen is amazing, we liked the rustic look, the large table and the huge oven (among others)! The rooms have their own unique universes. Some beds are super comfortable with ultra-soft duvets. The different spaces and nooks outside delighted us, we were able to enjoy all the amenities and the beautiful garden with the diversity of species and plants. Outdoor furniture is ideal for a large group. It was in this romantic atmosphere that we were able to enjoy evenings in the garden by the light of garlands. We are delighted, thank you Laurent.

an exotic and relaxing trip. The chalet is beautiful and immerses you in a typical Japanese accommodation. Decorated with care and very pleasant. All in a beautiful place close to nature. We were able to take advantage of our host Thierry to show us around the park to discover the orchids, a very rich flora and the Japanese Zen garden. We were able to enjoy the beautiful pool and sunbathe. I would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven.

Extremely pleasant stay at Antoine's. The house is really beautiful, and showcased in a charming way! The environment, full of greenery and picturesque houses, is very soothing. The house is very well equipped, the spaces are well thought out, everything was impeccable when we arrived. It will be a pleasure to come back!

Sabine was truly an amazing hostess! She took us in like we were family and was super helpful. The place is beautiful and located in a peaceful spot. Chartres is a city that is quite close where you can do loads of great stuff or you can easily take the train there to do a day in Paris. We had an amazing stay!
