WHISTLER VINEYARD RETREAT

Set on 80acres in the heart of the Barossa Valley this private, self-contained guest wing is surrounded by vineyard and gardens. Our retreat gets you back to nature... with vineyard and scrub walks, (accompanied by at least one of our Border Collies), friendly geese, an inquisitive free-roaming peacock, hens, rescued & wild kangaroos, the occasional Koala and a myriad of birdlife. Take in the views from the verandas, sit by the campfire (during the cooler months) or relax in the hammock.

The Olde Lolly Shop Bed & Breakfast in Mintaro

Relax and enjoy the ambience of stepping back in time and enjoy a unique stay at The Olde Lolly Shop Circa 1860. This stone and iron dwelling was originally a coach building business and is now our much loved home. We are delighted to be able to share with guests a private retreat with it's own entrance which is completely self contained with private amenities, separate living and bedroom area. Enjoy a slow combustion wood fire, deluxe spa and a cooked breakfast delivered to your door.

Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.

The Barn - a little bit rustic, a little bit luxe

Step into a little bit of rustic charm with some luxe comfort at the Barn - it shares some nuances of glamping - but not in a tent! Nestled on our 5-acre property named Pondicherri, The Barn is set amongst a collection of historic outbuildings offering a countryside escape in a village atmosphere and yet, is very close to all what the Barossa Valley can offer. From the Barn you will see no neighbours, no street lights and a huge night sky of twinkling stars.

Old Mill Cottage is ideal for a quiet getaway with its picturesque garden to relax in. It is close to Dutton Park Recreation area including the Golf Course and Trotting Track. Walking distance to the main street with great eateries and up to date information centre. The Historic Mine site and the Mawson, Heysen and Kidman walking trails are on the doorstep. Kapunda is nestled between the famous Barossa and Clare wine regions.

Situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley and nestled amidst 9 acres of vineyard, this fully renovated 1860's cottage is only 5 minutes walk to Tanunda's coffee shops and restaurants With magnificent vineyard and rural views you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst relaxing in the heated plunge pool or enjoying the comfort of an open fire place. UzuriBarossa

Uzuri Barossa is a fully self contained guest house with a blend of classic and modern design set on our lush two-acre property a mere 3 minute drive from the quaint little town of Lyndoch, the gateway to the Barossa Valley. It is separate from our main house so you will have full privacy to enjoy our cosy guesthouse. The name Uzuri means 'beauty' in Swahili, a homage to Kenya where my husband Kipi is from.
