Excellent stay at Nikos and his Dad's place, who was on site in his separate accommodation. The apartment is quite large, clean and well-equipped, however there are no "bedrooms" with doors, only a curtain to close. This does not bother us at all, but I think it is good to clarify The pool and sun exposure allow you to recharge properly! The quiet environment, the unobstructed view, a small beach nearby... It's perfect for a good vacation. Very welcoming and discreet, we were able to spend pleasant moments chatting with Nikos' dad over a coffee, I recommend it 100%

We were very happy with our stay. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and the home was lovely and clean! The location was fine too considering we had a car. The pool was also lovely. We were definitely satisfied.

We have been staying at AirBnBs for years and years but Villa Calypso has to top them all! I literally could not stop smiling and dancing when we first got there. It is so beautiful and so well kept. The decor is outstanding. The beds are incredibly comfortable. Absolutely everything we needed was there. The outdoor facilities are amazing and the setting is priceless. Sophia and Kostas are first class hosts - so helpful, friendly and responsive. It was the perfect place for our family to gather and make precious memories. We cannot recommend Villa Calypso highly enough. You have to experience it to believe it!

The highlight of this airbnb is definetely the breathtaking view! If you are looking for a quiet and authentic stay on an isle which hasn't been flooded by tourism, you're in the right place :-) Think about stopping by at a supermarket on the port and drive slowly at the end of the road, which is drivable with a "normal" car (no 4x4 needed). Restaurant at 10min drive, or in pittoresque Ioulida, nice beach in Koumdouros. Had an amazing few weeks at Ioannis’s place. Super clean, super comfortable. It’s perfect if you want to get away and relax for a few weeks. The towns nearby aren’t walkable but fine if you have a hire car they’re about a 10 minute drive away, they’ve got great bakeries and food stores for restocking the flat. The closest and best restaurant we had dinner at was “Tavern Bakoutis Nikolaos”. Best meat grilled dinners ever!! (And lots of cats). The pool is bigger than the pictures make it seem and it’s very clean with a pump to filter out leaves etc. Ioannis provides sun loungers which are great on a sunny day. Overall Ioannis is a fantastic host who truly cares about his guests happiness, he brought us fish he and his wife had made for lunch as well as giving us recommendations about areas nearby. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants a quiet place to relax and live the Grecian lifestyle.

Communication between the manager and us was impeccable happy to order taxis and direct us to the shops, we were un fortunate to have gale force winds during our last two days but Rania ensured we were safe and happy. The approach to the villa is a little scary at first but once you get used to the steep decent your good to go, I would advise two smaller cars as apposed to a large people carrier which we had as turning can be tight for the larger cars,

The house was clean and beautiful. It's exactly what you see in the photos although the photos don't make justice for what you experience when you see it up close. The host was being discrete,polite and helpful. All in all I had a great stay that I enjoyed a lot and would definitely recommend it!

It was a wonderful stay, The sunrise was a dream to be in. You could enjoy sitting outside in peace. Small flaw to a high standard, the bedroom has no window. Otherwise everything is great.

Sophia was the most friendly host, the place is gorgeous as described, we had breakfast provided every morning which was delicious and felt Sophia went above and beyond. Sophia and Micheal invited us for dinner and we had a lovely time with them and a delicious dinner. The place is second to none, we loved it and Sophia and Micheal.

Our stay was great! The place was very beautiful, clean, well-kept and tastefully decorated, giving a warm, homely feeling. It is located in a quiet place, but at the same time very close to the main destinations of the area, which served us very well. It is also pet friendly, which we particularly appreciated. The hostess was excellent – very sweet, kind and willing to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend it!😄

Olga and Eleni were very kind, waiting for us when we arrived late in the evening. The house is big and beautiful, with an amazing garden and view. We really enojyed the peace and silence. There are supermarkets, restaurants, many shops in the neighbourhoods, a few minutes by car. Also, Olga offered immediate help when we had an health issue, and was flexible with the check-in and check-out, which was made our travelling arrangments easier. We would have loved to stay longer in Evia.

Such a pleasurable stay. The view from the veranda is breathtaking and one feels invited to spend time there throughout the day and evening. The location is just perfect, one can swim 80 meters from the house. The house is spacious, furnished and equipped with both taste and utility along country house lines. Everything was laid out clearly with instructions and there were important details like welcome drinks, detailed local suggestions Kudos to Ralou, the perfect host, with a sixth sense of hospitality and politeness, providing a quick response to any inquiry. One of a kind place, get away paradise. Don’t miss it!!

Great apartment in Karystos. The outdoor space in particular was really lovely. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the port/front and there is a supermarket just around the corner. Lots of beautiful beaches and great hikes nearby. Dimitri is a very responsive host and we were looked after by his family (his grandmother made us some delicious cheese pies!). We also were given breakfast foods, water and wine.

From the moment I saw the photos I just knew I have to visit this place Remote ( but not too remote:) Peaceful , beautiful place by its nature, and the made by man ( woman:) additions gave it the final magical touch ❤️ amazing view, big big dining table right in front of it, beautiful pull and the rustic, magical, stone and wood houses. What more can anyone want :)

5 stars is few… An ideal place for privacy, contact with nature, relaxation and tranquility! If the picture of our house is part of our character…then Catherine & Alexander are lovely, special! A home with every corner of it's thoughtful. With touches that have the images of Hosts of their travels. A balcony immersed in the pines, overlooking the endless blue! Stylish furniture, distinctive decor, spotless linens throughout the house, even in our king size bed. Details throughout the house even everyday usable that show that this hospitality is done with love! Thank you for giving our vacation days the special touch to feel at home!

We had an amazing time in Marys house in the mountains of Evia. The house is really cosy and Mary made us feel really welcome! We found everything we needed to do some cooking, the house was super clean and every question I had Mary answered directly. Makrichori is a really small and calm village and we really enjoyed the peace and quietness. I really recommend the place!
