Holiday rentals with a patio in Estreito da Calheta

Absolument parfait! Nous avons adoré l’endroit et toutes les petites attentions dans l’appartement. Tout y était! Immense merci. De magnifiques vacances grâce à vous❣️

This is a beautiful place! The pictures did not do it justice. It was open and spacious, we felt relaxed the minute we stepped in! We traveled with our 3 adult children and we had plenty of space. There were a lot of extra touches-fresh flowers, a cooler to use, swim towels, complimentary cake and wine, and blankets for use out on the patio. The parking was convenient as we rented a car for travel on the island. We took the path to town and wish we would have done this earlier to enjoy the beach. The view was mesmerizing and we even saw some dolphins! dolphins! We woredolphinsdolphins

Appartement confortable et très propre avec parking. Bien placé pour visiter Madère surtout la partie Ouest (nous n’avons pas changé de logement pour visiter la partie Est). Merci pour le délicieux gâteau au chocolat, les fruits et les œufs qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Bon rapport qualité prix. Un seul petit bémol, peut-être penser à des rideaux occultants pour les chambres.

Logement juste incroyable ! La même chose que sur les photos ! Très calme et paisible. Hôte vraiment très très gentil. C’est situé dans un petit village à environ 30 min de Funchal et proche de tout en voiture. Le lieu est merveilleux pour se reposer. Nous reviendrons

Cristina was a wonderful host, always available with helpful tips and recommendations. The apartment was very clean and tidy, furnished, arranged and equipped in the best of taste. Stunning view, very quiet, even if very near to the expressway, and because of that perfect located to get everywhere easy and quick. Restaurants of all kind available within short driving time. Overall - very advisable!

Esmeralda è stata disponibile, molto gentile e pronta a darci tutte le indicazioni necessarie. Siamo arrivati dopo la mezzanotte ma ci ha comunque aspettato per il check in. L'alloggio è molto carino, pulito e con un bel terrazzo che affaccia sulla spiaggia. Esmeralda ci ha anche permesso di parcheggiare la macchina fuori casa, molto comodo. Calheta è piccola ma a 5 minuti a piedi c'è un supermercato, ristoranti e delle bancarelle che fanno street food. Essendo affacciato sulla strada dove ci sono queste bancarelle e quindi un po' di gente, l'unica piccola pecca è che è un po' rumoroso. Per il resto siamo stati molto bene, consigliato!

We felt right at home for a good 2 weeks at Maria José’s place during our vacation. The place was as described, very clean, spacious and our Host Catarina was so kind and responsive! It was a very safe and beautuiful place to stay at for a few weeks, especially with young children. The appartment is very well located on the island with lots to do around. Strongly recommend if you’re staying in Madeira! ☀️

Nous avons séjourné dans le logement d´Elizabeth pour notre voyage de noces. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les attentions de la part d´Elizabeth. Le logement est très bien équipé et pratique. La salle de bain est très grande et le fait d´étendre son linge juste devant est très agréable. La vue de la terrasse est très appréciable. Elizabeth répond très rapidement. Nous serions ravis d´y séjourner de nouveau. Fanny et Nicolas

Wir waren nur zu zweit, was für dieses wunderschöne Haus schon fast zu wenig ist. Alles war toll, neu, gepflegt. Sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet. Es fiel einem schwer raus zu gehen, da das Haus so schön war. Abends ein sehr schöner Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Un véritable petit coin de paradis à Calheta ! Le logement est parfaitement équipé, très propre et confortable, avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour au top. Le gros plus : une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer depuis la terrasse, idéale pour profiter des couchers de soleil ou simplement se détendre. L’hôte a été adorable : disponible, accueillant et très arrangeant. Il est même venu nous chercher pour nous accompagner jusqu’au logement, ce qui a grandement facilité notre arrivée. Une adresse qu’on recommande chaudement pour un séjour paisible et dépaysant à Madère !

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We had a lovely stay in Madeira at this property. Lovely facilities throughout the place, with the pizza oven, jacuzzi and the hammock (our favourite) all very nice additions to the property which were thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. We opted not to heat the pool but the temperature was fine to swim in anyway! In terms of location the area is very peaceful and scenic however at the cost of activities often being a slightly further drive. We did not find this to be an issue throughout our stay however! Definitely recommend renting a car if staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

Nous avons passé un fort bon séjour dans le logement de Diogo . Tout est bien dans la maison, il ne manque rien , on s' y sent bien ! Le quartier est très calme , c'est appréciable. L'emplacement est idéal pour sillonner l'ouest de l'île .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement ! Il est confortable, bien équipé, très propre et offre une très belle vue, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. L’emplacement est idéal, notamment pour une fin de séjour, car il se trouve à proximité de l’aéroport. On entend effectivement les avions passer, mais cela ne nous a absolument pas dérangés : il n’y a pas de vols la nuit, donc les nuits sont calmes. L’accueil a été chaleureux et la communication avec l’hôte parfaite. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Wirklich ein super schönes Apartment! Genau wie auf den Fotos, man fühlt sich direkt zu Hause. Der Blick ist atemberaubend! Würde jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten während man in Funchal ist. Bis zur Stadt sind es ca. 25min zu Fuß. Das Bett ist super bequem. Jederzeit wieder :)

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.
