Apartment holiday rentals in Essex County

This is a thoughtfully organized and stocked apartment in an adorable neighborhood, walkable to all of the Rockport sights and easy to find. I appreciated the adjustable desk, the amazingly easy to use tv, the Nespresso and the laundry. There were a lot of nice aesthetic details, too: real books, a lovely courtyard, pretty upholstery. Highly recommend.

We stayed here with our three kids. They loved that they could each have their own space. The home was beautiful and had everything we could need. Jay was very helpful when we encountered a small issue in the house and fixed it promptly for us. The location is great, a little loud as it’s on a main road, but central to everything and close by lots of great locations in town. Truly enjoyed this stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting Salem!

This was my first time using airbnb, Charley made it a breeze. The space was great and organized well, very impressed by his use of the space and amenities his place offered. It was close enough to everything we needed , very walkable and being close to the water was an added bonus. Our daughters enjoyed going down during low tide and looking at the little crabs. His instructions were very clear, and great communication, check in and check out was simple. It had everything we needed and was nice to come back to after a long day of site seeing. Everything exceeded my expectations, I highly recommend staying here.

The place was spacious with plenty of rooms and bathrooms so everyone had their space and could relax during our visit. The parking was easy and the little touches like bottles of water, coffee available, super comfortable beds, and a couple snacks made settling into our stay easy and kicked off a fun visit to the area!

This was one of our best Airbnb experiences. Every detail was thought of. The home was meticulously clean and welcoming. Location was perfect. Christine and Greg were kind and helpful. We are so grateful!

i loved this place so much, the photos do not do the place justice. I had a great time, the place was so relaxing and i felt right at home. Peabody is such a nice place and there are so many stores right near by, even walkable. The best part of the place is the outdoor patio which have seats and such a nice view. i love how much light the place got during the day and during the sunsets. the place was super clean and nicely decorated. Demetri was such a great host and was so helpful, friendly and responsive! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great time staying at Maureen and Joe's place. The location is great, as we'd hoped from the pictures and descriptions—looking out on the water, right in the heart of Bearskin Neck—and at least when we visited at the end of May, parking wasn't a problem (free 24 hour street parking just a few blocks away. The apartment was nicely spacious inside and had all the amenities we could hope for. And Maureen was a great host, friendly and so good with communication. We had no issues whatsoever and all in all really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended!

Samuel’s home is fantastic! It is in a fabulous location and is walkable to downtown Newburyport. The home itself was perfect for our long weekend. We will definitely come back! 10 ⭐️s!

Shirley's place is as described. It is comfortable and generous in size. There is parking available both in the driveway and on the street(with a supplied parking pass) for two cars altogether. Fresh linens are plentiful and the kitchen is very practical for cooking and eating in. Outdoor furniture on the back porch allowed us to invite over friends and socialize in nice weather. It is simple, but comfortable.

Home was great for what we needed, had all the amenities and was clean. Bed was comfortable and there was alot of great food in the area/ a grocery store a quick walk away. Quinn was quick to communicate and check in / check out was easy.

Really enjoyed our weekend in Salem. This is the perfect location. Not directly in downtown so less noise and business, private driveway for parking and walkable to all the attractions. The place was quaint and comfortable. Loved staying in a historic home. Price was cheaper for a group than any local hotels and also allowed the family dog.

We stayed at Wendy's for a few months while our home was being renovated. The house is spacious, especially the primary upstairs bedroom, and the bed is very firm and comfortable. There is plenty of closet space. The two of us had adequate space for 2 seasons worth of clothes and there was room for both of us to work remotely. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. There are numerous restaurants and a couple of grocery stores in close proximity. Wendy was always responsive and quickly resolved a minor problem with the A/C that arose during our stay. We would definitely stay here again if the need arose.

I would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit boston. Its central to everything, if you need recommendations they reply quickly. The place looked just like the photos, very clean & spacious. 10/10 stay would definitely stay again.

What a gem!! Ana's appartement is amazing. The bedrooms are large with good mattresses and furniture. Kitchen is great too. There is a nice patio to sit on at the back. Ana's house is extrememy clean, cosy and very well maintained, we will definitely stay here again when we visit Boston!

This spot was really great and fun! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked.

Just got home from a week in the Sandcastle. It is even better in person. It sits on the rope walk, along the bay. It was fun to walk the dogs, and people watch. The beach is just steps away, and it was fun to pick up shells. Fun for the entire family.

This was an awesome place for my daughter, her family and I to spend time sightseeing Boston while also letting the kids (and ourselves) relax with some beach time. Access to the Boston sights was easy with our rental car, though I think we could have done it well using the “T” which is a 10 minute walk. The house is giant, and the bedrooms on the upper level allowed the grandpa (me) to go to sleep at a reasonable hour while the kids hung on the lower level. The kitchen has all we needed to cook, though there are restaurants a short walk or a drive. One thing that I loved was that the place was spotless clean and NONE of the little things like loose knobs or broken shades. Oh, and a giant washer/dryer made cleaning up after the beach easy. I consider this the best of the AirBnB homes I’ve visited.

Loved our stay at Diana’s place- we were celebrating my bachelorette party. It was nice to be so close to downtown Salem but also on a private street- it’s walkable or a 5 min or less uber drive away. The place has really cool water views out the windows! We had a small fire alarm issue but Diana was very helpful and responsive. I would recommend trying the sauna it was very relaxing!

My stay at the Marsh-Mellow, hosted by MaryJane, was phenomenal. From check-in to check-out, the process was simple as MaryJane had clear, detailed instructions on how to enter as well as great recommendations on what to do in the area. I have no hesitation when I recommend this space as your next getaway trip. You will not be disappointed!

Serendipity Penthouse was so beautiful and relaxing, so much so that we kept pushing our plans because we didn't want to leave. You can't ask for much more than a view of the water, with the ocean breeze, sunshine and coziness inside the house. Sunrise was my favorite. The bathroom was also poshly designed and fun to get ready in. Thank you for having us!

Caroline was super responsive and a great host. Had my dad stay here while visiting us up the street 10/10 would do so again!

Spiro was an awesome host. He met me when I arrived, showed me around, and even offered to help me bring stuff in from my car. His home was so clean. I loved the historic photos on the fridge and he had a ton of great books too! The balcony was probably my favorite part with the view of the water. It was also easy to park my car in the street right in front of the home where I could easily see it. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family made some great memories here - we walked downtown every day and took in all that Salem had to offer - there's so much to choose from in this town! Joseph's place felt like home to us - one of the things that sets it apart are great beds. We have some back problems in our family and often struggle with places that are lovely, but don't have very good mattresses. We loved everything about this place and hope to visit again.
