Waterfront holiday rentals in Essex County

Beautiful modern upper apartment style rental. Well equipped, clean, great for entertaining. The host is great to work with. Not a lot do in the immediate area (unless you have a boat) but that was exactly what we had wanted. Pool, fire, lake views.

We had a great time staying at Kal's place. Spacious and comfortable. A bit rough around the edges due to some construction going on but still very comfortable and offers a great home base for exploring the area.

Marie’s place was perfect for what we needed. She was very responsive and accommodating.

Lori’s Place is straight out of a movie set. Very cozy and very comfy. Would definitely recommend. One thing to note is that while there is a kitchen, they discourage any cooking that would create odours (especially frying). That was fine for us since we only ate breakfast there, but be aware.

Holly was a fantastic host, very friendly and accommodating. The space was modern and nicely decorated with all of the listed essentials and more. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained, the beds and linens were comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful being right on the river and the added bonus of a boat slip right outside our door was fantastic!

It is so calming to be near water and that is just what we wanted - a place to unwind. The view is exactly like the pictures. We appreciated that Henry and April responded quickly and were very attentive.

Quiet, clean, spacious, well-furnished and equipped. Very close to beautiful Lake Erie, Point Pelee National Park, Hillman Marsh and Wheatley Provincial Park. Ideal base for nature lovers and bird watchers chasing spring and fall migration, as we were. Though we were two friends sharing, this home would be great for a family or 2 to 3 couples. Thanks Ryan -- we'll be back!

This house is amazing! Patsy and Charlsie put a lot of thought into creature comforts - chargers for electronics in strategic locations, plenty of blankets for lounging, lots of seating, Keurig with kcups, as well as shampoo/conditioner. Not to mention plenty of reading material for those early mornings. The house is very cozy and well maintained. We felt immediately at home. We never felt like we were in someone else’s home. The deck area is beautiful but the weather was uncooperative so we were not able to enjoy it as much as we wanted. Wheatley itself is very quaint with a few excellent options for food - iScreams, and Renny’s to name a couple- but Leamington is a short drive away and has more choices. We had a great time and had no trouble communicating with Patsy or Charlsie. They were proactive in getting information to us and very responsive when we had questions. I highly recommend this location! Patsy and Charlsie really know how to host an AirBnB! Two thumbs up!

The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful and quiet this home is. It is on a private road, right on the lake, with its own beach. Beth was always responsive, including sending in cleaners one day when we needed some help with some flying bugs that had managed to get in (not due to a flaw in the home). At some point we will be back to Kingsville and this is the home we will book!

we've stayed at this beach house several times now. we love it. its cute cozy and has all the amenities you could need. the property is beautiful with a gorgeous waterfront that is full of bird and animal life. we will be back

This was our first Air B and B experience! It was exactly what we were looking for! The home was clean and everything was laid out nicely and organized! Wei exceeded our expectations and was helpful and quick to respond! The binder of helpful tips and local restaurants was appreciated! We can see why he is a Super Host.

Our stay here was amazing! Very well stocked home- ample kitchen stuff, towels, blankets, games etc. Backyard is beautiful, with many seating options! Beds were comfortable. We are able to check early which was appreciated! Joan was easy to deal with and responsive. Newly renovated bathroom with jetted and tub and large shower was so nice!

the air bnb was such a cute, quaint place! perfect for our little getaway. the lake view was great, the hot tub was an amazing feature, and the bonfire was so nice. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying here. i do wish the beach area was a little more taken care of, there was trash and dead fish all over, but beautiful for seashell hunting!

The home was just as described. It was quiet and clean, and a bargain at the price we paid. Communication was great too.

Stayed here for work, great location near many grocery stores and lots to do. Always easy to find parking on the street. For people not from Windsor, sandwich can seem a little rough but it’s 100% safe. Police station is a 2 minute walk from the house. I worked 12-16 hour days always coming home late at night and I never had any incidents. Neighbourhood is nice and quiet. Shiyun always comes by to clean out the trash/bathroom throughout the week and is very responsive for any questions or concerns. For the price it’s very good, everything matched the photos, bed was comfortable, shower works great. 5 stars ⭐️

Shiyun gave us detailed instructions about the DOs and DONTs for when the stay, and how to check-in and check-out. He always responded to the messages nice and sweet.
