Beachfront holiday rentals in Espinho

A very well-equipped house in a lovely seaside village, larger than the photos make it seem. Antonio greeted us like we were old friends and was really helpful with a couple of logistical issues caused by our late arrival. Miramar is a smashing little spot with a couple of nice eateries. 20 minutes on the train from central Porto and half an hour walk down the beach to the more bustling village of Aguda.

Jorge & Susana are brilliant hosts. they are always responsive and proactive in offering suggestions. the house was perfect for what we needed. Great restaurants in walking distance and a 20 minute Bolt ride into Porto. We would strongly recommend.

We loved staying here. It had a brilliant view of Porto and we were able to walk there easily (on either the high or low bridge) as well as around the local area and to the river and restaurants and Port cellars there. The apartment is spacious and really well appointed with a very comfortable sofa and a throw to keep you warm. The main bed was super comfortable- a rare find. The apartment was nestled right in the Roman arches with a road above us and one below. Being a lighter sleeper I closed the back windows and used the fan for air movement and to block out road noises. This compromise was worth it for the view!! Diana was a great host, responding quickly to questions and providing weather forecasts. We highly recommend Porto and this apartment

Excellent stay on a very good location. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Rui was extremely attentive, received us on arrival, gave us instructions and tips about the area and helped us with questions at any time during the stay. We definitely recommend this place.

The house is located by the sea (the beach is less than a 5-minute walk away) and overlooks a garden. We had a lovely stay there and were able to easily visit the surroundings (Gaia, Aveiro, Porto). Special mention for Hugo who is very available and provides good advice.

The place has beautiful personalized decoration, very comfortable, spectacular dinner table chairs :) The only thing, for people who have “problems climbing stairs”, you a have everything you need (bedroom, complete wc, kitchen, etc.) downstairs, but the best terrace with a sea spectacular sea view, along with 2 other bedrooms, is on the second floor.. The 5 star host Tiago, was always available. Surely recommend!

Super nice accommodation right in the dunes. You can see the sea and are just a few steps away from the beach. On the wooden walkways, which are directly behind the house, you can walk along the coast. Great restaurants and beach bars are within walking distance. A bakery and a supermarket can also be reached on foot. The connection to Porto is great. Only 15 minutes by Uber and there is also a connection with public transport. The place was super clean and there was everything you need. Even a beach umbrella was available. The host was very nice and always available. He even brought us a baby chair and a baby bathtub for our little daughter. I would come back anytime!

Great stay, good location and as described. Amazing support after our stay. We forgot a tablet in the appartment and they were amazing helping us out to have it ship to our home. Very efficient and supportive.

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking lot. The landlord Manuel took care of things proactively and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, separated only by the waterfront road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August, a fair takes place right in front of the house with corresponding volume in the afternoon and evening.

I can’t describe in words how beautiful this stay was. The view is amazing at every corner you look at. Susana was very helpful and the place is more beautiful than the pictures I was sad to leave but I’d definitely come back!

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

We had a fabulous week at Lettia. It is about 25 minutes away from downtown Porto and right across the river from Matosinhos; which is a lovely city in itself. There are so many restaurants in the area you can eat in or get take out. The villa was exactly as pictured and our boys thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We had breakfast delivered everyday which consisted of an abundance of breads and pastries and fresh orange juice. They also stocked the fridge prior to our arrival with cheese, fruit, water, milk, ham and yogurt. You are not too far from the beach and can enjoy Leca da Palmeira or the beach in Matosinhos. The e-bikes were great to use to go the grocery store. Rita and her Dad made us feel right at home and were extremely responsive. Thank you for a terrific stay.

Place was ideal for my family and I to stay. Great hosts, communicated very well with us. Place was very neat. I will come back!!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The property was spacious with 2sets of balconies for either sun or shade all day.We loved the fact that they met us and provided a lovely welcome pack and told us about lots of great places to visit locally and in Porto itself and would recommend to others

Lovely house in a great location just a very short walk from a beautiful beach, nature reserve and local shops restaurants and bars. The house was spotless and well equipped and the outside areas were faultless with a lovely pool, everything was kept to the highest standards. Peaceful and quiet but only a short distance from local amenities and close to Porto which is easy to access by bus that stops just outside or very affordable UBER. Host was super friendly and informative.

This place is a great location for spending a few days around Cabo do Monde. Fernando is a very responsive and helpful host and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. S&J

There were three of us women friends going to start the Camino Walk. It was the best experience. Philip let us check in early as we had a red eye from Toronto. Paula met us early and helped us check in. The condo is gorgeous. Perfect for us. So clean and do equipped. From the beautiful towels to the plates to the beach chairs. Everyone was wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more. ! Location location!

Antonio’s apartment is in a fantastic location, just up from the waterfront. It is in the heart of everything yet very peaceful and quiet at night. We loved leaning out the window to watch the street below. It’s an easy walk from the apartment to the historical centre across the bridge and there is also the option of a water taxi. The apartment had a very well equipped kitchen, was spacious and very comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

Great location & nice place for a short stay in Porto.

This apartment is spectacular!! It has the feel of a luxury San Francisco penthouse apartment. We could listen to the waves at night. Multiple restaurants are within a 2 block area! While It's not technically IN Porto, it's a very inexpensive Uber ride away...and we saw a lot of the city that way without having to walk! The platform bed setup as one solid bed was a bit challenging for an older couple, but overall, the apartment made it worth the challenge! We'd definitely stay there again!

The apartment was very comfortable, free of clutter, well appointed and beautifully designed. Beds, linens and towels were first-rate as were the showers. Andre was helpful with directions on where to park in the lot behind apartment, very convenient. This location was very central for our stay and about 10 minutes to the main highway.. The village is quaint and had an endless beach. The small market across the street was a bonus. We enjoyed staying in this apartment.
