Very stylishly designed accommodation with everything you need for a short stay. For a longer stay, the kitchen might be too small, but that's perhaps also an individual thing, since I like to cook myself. Public transport is within walking distance, the way back to the apartment is a good calf workout if, like me, you come from the flat countryside. :) Communication was great. I had a few questions about the arrival in advance, which could all be clarified quickly and in good time, so that a relaxed arrival was possible. We traveled as a couple and felt very comfortable. We slept very well in the bed, it was very comfortable. Overall, it was a nice stay in a nice, small basement apartment.

I am so glad i found this amazing place where i spent a month enjoying the sights and sounds. A perfect place to get away from it all but still be in touch with the sights. very easy to get to from the airport, close to Düsseldorf and Cologne. Even better inside than in the pictures. Almut and Guido are so welcoming. there was no washing machine in the house and they installed it very quickly. I really enjoyed living in this house and highly recommend it to everyone.

An all-round successful stay! We felt very comfortable with Hans from the beginning. Communication was straightforward and fast - all information arrived on time, and Hans was always available for questions. The accommodation was exactly as described (if not better): central, cozy and equipped with everything you need. You can tell that someone is making an effort to make guests feel welcome. We found the courtyard (great for breakfast) and the tasteful furnishings particularly beautiful. Would definitely come back and can fully recommend the place. Perfect in every way. Thomas was an incredibly hospitable, kind, and helpful host and made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. The place itself was perfectly clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could need. The kitchen was well supplied, the WiFi fast, comfortable bed, very nice TV, great bathroom and washing machine for clothes, and it was overall just a completely ideal space for our extended stay. The location is also perfect and only about a 15 minute walk from multiple grocery stores like Aldi and Rewe. Public transport from this location was also incredible and it was easy to cheaply get to cities like Cologne/Düsseldorf for nice day trips. If we are ever visiting North Rhine-Westphalia again in the future we will certainly be wanting to stay here again. Out of over 40+ Airbnbs we have stayed in, this is one of our top 3 favorites, easy. 5/5 in every category.

Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable-a true home away from home!

Was there with two friends and we had a cozy girls weekend. Of course, the location near the Vabali was perfect. We could even reach a very tasty Italian on foot. The apartment is super chic and the bed was really comfortable. We were also very satisfied with Freyer as a landlady and would be happy to come back

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The listing was exactly what we imagined and there was free food and drink. Simply wonderful!

A very large and super-equipped apartment in a good location with two very special highlights: a whirlpool - and a private cinema with four comfortable armchairs, Netflix access, a large screen and great sound. The location is also great: In a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest subway station and a shopping center, yet it is very quiet. I was there by bike, and the apartment was the perfect starting point for trips to the Zollverein mine, the Nordsternpark in Gelsenkirchen and other interesting places. The communication with Lucas was great, fast response times and help with questions/problems at any time. If I am drawn back to the area, I would like to stay here again as a guest!

A nice place to stay in a quiet area. Very clean and the hosts were very accommodating! Unfortunately, the whirlpool could no longer be used after 10 pm (at least the "bubble function"), which was a bit annoying for us, as we were on the road all day and wanted to relax in the evening. It was also relatively "dark" in the accommodation itself, due to poor lighting. However, you can tell that the hosts have put a lot of effort and thought into the furnishings and design. A small "basic set" of drinks and snacks was also great. All in all, a nice and quiet place to stay.

Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully thought out to the millimeter and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy. The lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. Without a doubt, my mother and I rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. We will definitely repeat

The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, freshness of the bed linen and a comfortable bed. The blinds in the bedroom were very useful, thanks to them I was able to sleep. The good pressure in the shower was also pleasing. The kitchen was disappointing. There was no dishwasher, although it was listed in the amenities. We were looking for a place with an equipped kitchen, so that we could cook during our five-day stay. A kitchen without a dishwasher is a thing of the past. Half a day spent washing dishes is not an option for those who intend to cook their own food. The refrigerator was even more disappointing - it was slightly cooler than the air in the kitchen. No freezers were found at all. To cool the drinks, we turned the regulator to the maximum, then loaded the purchases, and by evening all the products were frozen. We had to throw out all the greens, vegetables and buy again. At the same time, we had to buy a sharp knife and a grater. If you eat exclusively outside the house, the location is excellent, a bunch of cafes. With parking, you'll be lucky.

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The whirlpool is a real hit, everything is lovingly furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.

The apartment is awesome! Everything is very clean, the amenities are great! Everything you need! I only had to take half of my things from home, because everything was available. Whether in the kitchen or the bathroom. We don't need to talk about the bathroom. It's pure luxury. You can always find a parking spot nearby. It's quiet. Nice neighbors. Public transport is nearby. You can get anywhere fast. And there are also shopping facilities nearby. Dirk was very nice and always available. Everything wonderful.
