A quiet hideaway near lake

A great retreat from the middle of everyday life to a hideaway! The log-built sauna has a private beach, and you can go fishing or rowing by boat. In the private, sand-bottomed swimming area, you can enjoy a dip in the water while enjoying the traditional sauna. The cottage has electric heating and running cold water. The rent includes firewood, electricity and a boat. Linen, towels and final cleaning can be ordered as an additional service. Welcome to the peace of nature 1 h from Tampere!

Private cabin w/ sauna, patio, bikes, free parking

Welcome to our private cottage to enjoy your stay! Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included, big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you (house rules).

Junalla pääsee kätevästi perille ja autolle löytyy ilmainen pysäköintipaikka. Talo on rauhallisella omakotitaloalueella viehättävässä pihapiirissä kauniin puutarhan ympäröimänä. Rautatieasemalle on 300 m, josta hyvät junayhteydet esim. Tampereelle (25 min.), Helsinkiin (n. 2 t) ja Jyväskylään (n. 1 t).

Summer cottage by the lake

Atmospheric log cabin 70 m2, wood-heated sauna, shower, toilet, gas grill, campfire place, woodshed. Low, gently sloping sandy beach. Terhi Saiman rowing boat and Prijon Motion kayak (1 h) are available. Fishing possible, pike-perch, whitefish, pike, perch. The cottage has 6 beds (blankets and pillows), air heat pump, Wi-Fi, fireplace, water supply, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee maker and dishes. Linens and towels are not included.

From Helsinki Airport by train to the lake? Log cabin on a beautiful private plot. Possibility to swim, rent a wood-fired sauna, kayak (2 pcs), sup-board (2 pcs) and rowing boat. The lake and adjacent rapids are popular with fishermen. The Birgita Trail hiking trail and the canoeing trail around Lempäälä run alongside. Ski trails 2 km. Train station 1.2 km, from where you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7 km.

Torppa by the lake, Pirkanmaa

Have you dreamed of a shepherd's holiday? It can happen! During the summer season, there are sheep grazing on the pastures of Torppa, which you can take care of and follow during your stay. Mustanlahti Torppa is located on the shore of the beautiful Iso-Petääjärvi in Juupajoki. This accommodation is great for those looking for peace of nature and the beauty of the landscapes with animals.

Rooms for rent in an old school building next to the lake. Classy, homey rooms with high ceilings (4m) and a lot of light coming in. In summertime it's also possible to sleep in a yurt (Mongol tent) on the yard. You can use the old log house sauna and swim in the lake. Kayaks and a row boat available. The destination is great for all kind of groups and people.

Kukkokallio is a high-quality log villa completed in June 2021 on a magnificent rocky plot opening to the west. The villa is located in Kuhmalahti, Kangasala, on the shores of Längelmävesi. The place is peaceful and the nearest neighbor is about 300 meters away. A hot tub (no jacuzzi) is available at an additional cost of 50 eur/day and 80 eur/week
