Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Entlebuch District

Super nice :) Cozy, great surroundings, warm welcome. For our family reunion with 8 people, it was the ideal and perfect accommodation. We felt completely comfortable at Heidy's – everything was exactly as described in the listing. Great! :) The charm of the old farmhouse delighted us all. Heidy was super nice and helpful, and the organic eggs from her own chickens tasted delicious at breakfast. We would have liked to stay longer - and it was definitely not our last visit. Absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

Edelweiss is a really cozy home, and we had a wonderful mini-vacation in the house. Everything worked perfectly, and the house had everything we needed. And the view from all the rooms and from the fine garden is fantastic. We'd love to come again.

We had a great multi-generational weekend (2-65 years), were the only guests and had the generous surroundings, incl. Outdoor kitchen, for us and we enjoyed this very much. The kids found some toys for outside and were happy. In the outdoor area, there are certainly a few things that need to be renewed or overhauled (chairs and tables around the grill, beach chair, possibly fabric of the yurt and lounge cushions) Merci Kurt:)

Bernadette was an amazing host - very proactive, responsive and friendly too. My husband and our family (adults) really enjoyed being at her home/chalet, as we felt right at home. Every little things have been really thoughtful arranged, including the fireplace. There were condiments (including oils even though we've brought our own), seasonings and enough tea towels to be used in the kitchen - LOVED it =) Sadly, we couldn't stay long enough as the chalet was booked but very lucky that we had 5 nights there. So, go ahead and book your slot before it get booked out hahaha... Once again, thanks for sharing the lovely home/chalet that you've built. We can't wait to go back to it sometime in the future. Beautiful retreat, forest walk and hiking opportunities right in front of the house. Beautifully furnished, we were allowed to use the grill easily, incl. Butcher's recommendation. For the dog, beds and towels were ready - such a warm welcome 💝

Great peaceful place. If you want to shut yourself out of the outside world for a while, then it is perfect. Place was comfortable and had everything you need for comfy living. Hosts were helpful and responsive. Really nice change of pace for us.

Amazing views!!! What a wonderful place

This was our second time staying at Kurt’s place and it was another great stay! Kurt’s hospitality is unmatched. His home is in a beautiful location next to Lungern lake which my girlfriend and I enjoy walking to (5 min walk). I will definitely be staying at Kurt’s place again!

We had an amazing Easter break at this charming chalet in Sörenberg! The location is perfect—right in the heart of a beautiful skiing area and surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. It was the ideal mix of adventure and relaxation. The chalet was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our 3-year-old was especially happy thanks to the dedicated play area filled with toys and games. It made our stay so much smoother. One of the highlights was the kind gesture from the hosts who shared Easter sweets with our toddler, such a thoughtful and personal touch! The hosts were incredibly helpful, offering great tips on local restaurants, activities, and the best spots to explore in the area. Their recommendations really helped us make the most of our stay. We left with full hearts and happy memories. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a family-friendly mountain escape!

Beautiful apartment with the host and family live up stairs. The kitchen was very well equipped for everything you needed to cook a meal. Particularly grateful for the range of spices that Petra provided. Everything is spotlessly clean and the apartment is roomy.

We had a wonderful stay. Host : Esthi is an exceptional host. Kind, quick to respond, very polite and very helpful. Always reachable, provided recommendations for local visits, and clarified all our queries. She even dropped us to the train station for an early train. Stay : Very clean, had the amenities to feel right at home. We were also provided with food supplies. There were games for kids which our little one loved.

Claudia and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, cozy and well equipped. Everything was perfect – we would love to come again!

The accommodation was just perfect for our ski-vacation with my family with 2 kids. Bettina is fast in responding to our messages and is also pro-active in providing useful information. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Barbara's place was just great! The place was spotlessly clean, welcoming and superbly appointed – it really has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We particularly liked the thoughtful layout and the many practical details. The communication with Barbara was always friendly, quick and straightforward. She made us feel completely comfortable from the beginning. The apartment was the perfect place to celebrate the turn of the year. The central location between the ski resorts of Marbach and Sörenberg was also absolutely ideal for us. Thank you, Barbara, for your hospitality – we will be happy to come back!

Very clean, lots of thoughtful amenities like chargers, variety of shower soaps, and soft towels. Host was responsive and helpful. Train tracks out back took a day to get used to, then were no problem. Great location, walkable to the train station and downtown. Views of Rigi from the front terrace and Pilatus from the back windows. Great place!

Loved this condo. It was spotless, easy to find and the location was excellent. It was not in the middle of town with the crowds, yet easily walkable. Loved the peace and quiet and the views were amazing. A view of Staubbach falls right in front of the kitchen windows and at night the falls are lit up and look magical. The snow capped Mountain View’s of Breithorn mountain from the deck and literally from the sofa as you are watching tv, were awe inspiring. Comfy furniture and bed and a well equipped kitchen. Lisa was great with recommendations and super responsive.

It was so so good, but a little expensive. Grindelwald Terminal (Jungfrau) was a 2-3 minute walk. It was too much. The wind was overwhelming. It was so 👍👍👍👍good :) I think I'll go again next time. ^_^

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

Andrea's Airbnb was a nice 3-night stay for me in the middle of a much longer trip. I needed a place to decompress, do laundry, and recover from international flights and jetlag. Andrea's condo in Spiez was a spacious and convenient choice. The condo is a short walk from the picturesque town and the train station, and the neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. I agree with the suggestion to take the bus up the hill from the train station to the stop near the condo if you are carrying luggage or groceries. I also agree with reviewers that mentioned the lack of a microwave, which was OK for a short stay but I would miss if I rented for a longer time. The grocery store is near the train station and walkable. I will caution that almost everything in town is closed on Sunday, so if you arrive on a Saturday then pick up enough groceries to tide you over to Monday. There's a small convenience store at the train station if you have to buy on Sunday. I would stay here again.

The most beautiful accommodation with breathtaking views on our tour through Switzerland. The apartment is super clean and cozy and offers everything you need. From the accommodation, there are many excursion destinations that were easy to reach by car. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again.
