I stayed at Thomas place for a week during a combined business / family visit. The place is unique, very lovely in a private neighbourhood. It is spacious and well equipped. Thomas was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay and made me feel at home from the first minute. Solingen is close to highways to locations like Dusseldorf, Cologne or Dortmund, all of which is reachable within an hours drive. If you are looking for something exceptional, give it a try.

My girls and I just wanted to escape everyday life for a weekend and relax. Laureen's house was perfect for this. We were warmly welcomed and everything was shown and explained to us (whirlpool). The house is cozy and modernly furnished. We felt right at home. The recommended restaurants were also great. I was quite skeptical at first, about the promises and the price. However, my expectations were not met, but exceeded. Very nice communication, very clean accommodation and despite the proximity to the railway line super relaxing. The three nights were more relaxing than any vacation that lasted longer. Every detail has been thought of to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. A clear recommendation and would be happy to come back.
