Waterfront holiday rentals in Encounter Bay

Thanks for a fantastic stay! What an incredible beachfront view and also such a comfortable stay, we all loved our visit to Moana at Jessicas, it is so close to wonderful vineyards also 🤍

Truly fab place to stay, probably my favourite beachside Airbnb in this areaso far. The location is perfect: right on the esplanade with amazing sea views, which surprisingly isn’t that easy to find along this strip as the higher yu go, the more the cliffs and brush get in the way. It’s just serene watching the waves roll in, whatever the weather. This Airbnb is so beautifully cared for. It’s not precious, which makes a seaside jaunt much more relaxing. Tracy has literally thought of everything. You turn around and, yep, there’s a charger port when you need it, every appliance you could want – the kitchen is really well equipped. I loved the upside-down living; it was such a pleasure to be upstairs with comfy couches and a great new TV setup. Also, super retro touch: literally every DVD you can think of. Two coffee machines (yes, two!), and a great café right next door. Deep Blue is open on all public holidays, which is ace. Supermarket nearby also open on public holidays!

Denise's place was perfectly located and easy walking distance for what we wanted to do in Victor Harbor (Granite Island and the Cockle Train). In addition, the view from the living space and main bedroom to both Granite Island and the Bluff were superb. It's a neat, tidy space, plenty of room for our family of 4. Had everything we needed for a couple of nights getaway. Thanks Denise

Immaculately presented apartment, super easy to access with clear instructions from the host. Literal steps from the beach and cafes etc. Comfortable beds, beautiful linens , easy space to live in - options to stay in or go out. 10mins to great wine region if beach weather doesn’t co operate. Great communication from host, and comprehensive home manual with local coffee tips!

A great apartment with everything you need. Can walk to the beach and food outlets. Great view and lovely sitting on the front deck watching the sunset. Monica was very helpful and kind. If we lived in SA we would visit much more often!

We absolutely loved our week at Anastasia’s place. The apartment was clean, the view was spectacular and it was simply peaceful and relaxing. For a family of 2 adults and 2 children the accomodation and amenities was perfect. We will most definitely be back for our next beach vacation. Leah

Lovely apartment on the esplanade, overlooking Encounter Bay. Just perfect. Exactly as described and as reflected in the images. Everything is fresh and contemporary. Beautiful bath and a separate walk-in shower with plenty of hot water and loads of pressure. Front bedroom and living space lead out onto an expansive balcony with seating, a table and BBQ. The apartment is sitting up high but with no stairs. Enter straight in from the back. Plenty of parking for the car. The kitchen has everything including a full sized fridge and dishwasher. We've stayed at Fiona's apartment previously and have been keen to head back. Says it all. Just enjoy the ambiance.

Beautiful nicely laid out clean cottage for a weekend getaway or for a longer stay overlooking lake Alexandrina. Included breakfast was superb. Russel was a very responsive host. The cottage was well setup with all amenities. Plenty of bird life and heritage around location. Thank you Russel for the great stay.

Sunsets was the perfect place for a getaway. Stunning location, and extremely luxurious amenities and styling. Such a well thought out and beautiful space. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we could have needed. I could not recommend this stay more, it far exceeded our expectations!

Karena’s place is amazing. The beach views are beautiful and complemented by the stunning design features of the house. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is stocked with everything you need. Karena is a lovely host. Highly recommend this house for a luxury beach stay close to Adelaide!

Would book again in a heartbeat! We had a wonderful week away with the family. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids utilised the play area downstairs. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful and we loved being able to pop across the road to the beach for a walk or enjoy an incredible sunset. Gretchen was always responsive to messages and lovely to deal with, thank you.

We felt right at home straight away, lovely set-up with everything that you need to have a home away from home. enjoyed relaxing in the bath and the electronic bed - fantastic. the outdoor area was relaxing, enjoyed reading a book. Great location in Goolwa, walkable to main street. Has Hays St Bar & Kitchen very close and worth going to have a meal. Also, recommend the Thí restaurant in the main street. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

This was the perfect place to relax. Beautiful views and an aesthetically pleasing home. Beds were comfy and I adored the seating that was perfect to curl up and read a book in. I have recommended the Sunflower Cottage to friends and family and will be returning to stay in the future!
