The place was clean, tidy and very comfortable. It met our needs while in the area for my son the race in the Unbound Gravel race.

The space is fantastic with a great dining room and nice yard. The natural light in the house and character of the home make it a fantastic option.

I love staying here! Like my first time last year, once again I'm so glad I had a peaceful, cozy place to work and rest during my Lawrence visit. AnnMarie is a super thoughtful host. Inside and out, the space reflects her care and beautiful aesthetic. Looking forward to next time!

I was traveling with my retired parents to my nephew's graduation. My dad needs to sleep in a recliner, so we picked this place. Everything was great - the place was clean (and dog friendly) and was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and there were extra touches that were appreciated (like plenty of extra towels and blankets, a first aid kit, and other toiletries in the bathroom, etc). The neighborhood was quiet and nice. We had no complaints. Carrie responded very quickly to messages. I'd stay there again if I needed to spend the night in Lawrence in the future.

We (my husband, our dog & my parents) were in town from WI for my Niece’s High School Graduation. It was nice being close to my brother & his family & not have to drive from JC every day for four days. MiChele’s place was clean & comfortable. The patio was a nice place to sit and enjoy morning coffee, and the fenced in front yard was nice to let our pup out. House rules & checkout were simple & easy to follow. We didn’t cook, other than coffee, toast & fruit for breakfast (ate most of our meals at my brother’s house) but did notice there was a lot of cook/dishware for more than just us 4. The adjoining queen bedrooms was unique. My dad is a snorer & I’m a very light sleeper, so my husband and I opted for the smaller full bed upstairs. Being 5 months pregnant it was a bit of a workout, but not unmanageable. Both showers are walk-in-no-tubs, worth knowing if you have tiny kiddos, but wasn’t an issue. Didn’t see a blow dryer, luckily my mom had one. Would stay here again. :)

We had a great time in Lawrence.! The house was close to shopping and restaurants. We were able to walk the dog in the neighborhood and people were friendly.

Absolutely amazing! The house is exactly as described and pictured and Nyccole is an outstanding host. I saw maybe 10 ants coming from the back porch after it rained and she personally showed up to fix the issue! Anytime we talked to her or had questions, she never responded in an irritated manner, always happy and willing to help. She even asked our opinions about future home remodel ideas! We loved the house and having an amazing and exceptionally friendly host made it all the better! Thank you Nyccole for giving us peace of mind during our family vacation!

Roberta's place was a perfect location for us. Close enough to Topeka and other attractions but far enough away to feel peaceful. The lake views were incredible in the morning.

Fabulous house, fabulous host, great location. Back yard/patio was very well laid out and wonderful for relaxing.

Aaron's place was great for a long weekend in Lawrence! The space was very nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Truly enjoyed our stay, really felt like home away from home. Place was beautiful, clean and peaceful. This is the 2nd home of Mannys's we've stayed due to his hospitality, quick reaponse and flexibility. Very appreciative of his assistance each time. Can't wait to be back! Thank you!

Great location close to stadium and field house.

you can tell more about people when something goes a little wrong than when everything is perfect. There was a small mechanical issue with the pool and they sent the nicest person out to fix it and went above and beyond to make sure all our kiddos could continue to use the pool. even though it would have been much cheaper for them to close the pool. This speaks volumes about their commitment to their guests. we would totally stay there again if we ever were in the KC area.

Very beautiful place and extremely nice accommodations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit many more times in the future.

The apartment was quiet, clean, and easy to get to. Free laundry on site was plus!

We loved the bunkhouse it’s beautiful and full of history we enjoyed reading the books on the shelf about the area and loved the homemade bread and granola she left us along with farm fresh eggs! The kids loved all the animals and playing outside too! Great place we’ll definitely be back anytime we’re heading through the area!

This place is STUNNING! So spacious , decorated to perfection, and the windows are chefs kiss. The owner was wonderful to work with. He went above and beyond and was great to work with.

The house was perfect for our stay and very well stocked with kitchen items, plenty of towels, extra sheets, blankets, and two fans. It made our stay even more comfortable. The host was also a great communicator. We would definitely stay again!

This place is Great for outdoor activities and Family! The cabin is has comfy beds, clean bathroom, and a great kitchen. We were working around the Area and this cabin made the afternoons fun and relaxing, the morning coffee was great with the beautiful view of the lake out in the front porch allowing you to bathe in nature's view and air! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing trip away from the city! 10/10

This was a great place to camp if you are looking for something quiet and beautiful. Steve communicated well and was friendly and was waiting for me when I arrived. The Glamping site is even better than the pictures. A bundle of wood is $10 but two bundles was enough for two nights of fires and two fires in the morning to cook on. The property is very peaceful and you can walk up on the hill and watch the sunset. There are mown paths you can walk around on and see the wild flowers and plants. It is only 20 minutes from Milford lake. Definitely coming back next time I need to get away!

Really neat building. Love the super clean space and the spacious room. Appreciate the appliances and the coffee/tea/granola bars available. Although short, we had an enjoyable stay.

Such a great weekend! I came with my husband and 3 daughters and we enjoyed every minute of it. Karen was super kind provided so much more than we had anticipated from bedding to kitchen gadgets and everything in between. It was super relaxing and peaceful our favorite part was getting outside before dark and watching the fireflies. We cannot wait to come back for another relaxing weekend!

This was an amazing stay. It's a bit private and relaxing. I really appreciated the host! I would stay again.
