Rose Cottage(dog friendly) - West Fallodon

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Rose cottage with our children and dog, and we thought this was excellent value for a week during the school half-term holidays. The cottage is homely and very well equipped -kitchen utensils, crockery, pans etc all good quality, plus a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding was all crisp white, new pillows and white towels. The bathroom is clean and white and has an electric power shower. The fenced garden is a lovely sheltered sun trap with plenty of seating (comfy chairs as well as the picnic table in listing photos) with a nicely maintained lawn. Jamie was an excellent host, friendly and approachable, gave us some excellent tips including Embers pizza in Embleton. The welcome package was perfect- including delicious fresh bread from the Embleton village farm shop. Worth noting the cottage is one of three- this would be perfect for multiple families travelling together but each wanting their own space.

The Kitty Carter - Northumberland Holiday Cottage

JayneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Kitty Carter. The location was perfect, not far off the A1 but far enough away for a lovely peaceful stay. We had beautiful views front and back. The highlight was watching the House Martins build a nest. We would definitely stay again . Thank you

Fisherman’s House

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great holiday cottage with super furnishings and great kitchen. Clean and cosy. Sophie very helpful. Lovely beach and accessible coastal path towards Craster. The private access to the beach is steep and narrow but there are alternative routes for a wheelchair. One good sized bathroom and one tiny ensuite with shower, both of which are well fitted.

Driftwood Cottage Coastal Escape

BeverleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A beautiful cottage in a stunning and peaceful location. There were glorious views at both the front and back of the cottage. The fabulous garden was an added bonus. We were lucky to have very nice weather so we were out walking every day. Although we were surrounded by fields it was only a short walk to the beach so we had the best of both worlds. We had a relaxing retreat at the end of the day and could choose to have an invigorating shower or a soak in a very large bath. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. We didn’t need to use the log fire but it would be a very cozy addition on cooler evenings. The sun room at the front of the property is a great space to enjoy a coffee and relax.

The View: idyllic and remote off-grid cabin

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

4 bedroom coastal cottage with walled garden

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage in a truly lovely, beautifully-located village. The extra double bedroom in a well-furbished and kitted-out 'hut' across the sweet little garden worked well as a 'grandparents retreat', although it was a little 'tight'.

Eider Cottage

CharlesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Eider Cottage is situated in a quiet village in an even quieter development with sea views. Being a Tynesider I am well acquainted with the Northumberland Coast. Unfortunately "the Mrs" is currently recovering from an ankle injury which cut down our activities but as I've said, as a native I would thoroughly recommend on location. The cottage itself is clean and well maintained with all necessary amenities and we thoroughly enjoyed our break.

Off-grid retreat on the Northumbrian coast

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I don't have enough positive words for George as a host and his wonderful hideout. Built by hand, you can tell everything at the Hideout has been crafted with love, care and attention. It is a fabulous spot to hide away for a few days in beautiful surroundings. George was on hand to help whenever needed, and his pizza place next door is pretty fantastic too. Make sure to get one during your stay! Thanks again George, a memorable few days.
