Our property on Little Gillett Lake is a special place. The cottage is new, but exudes the charm and character of classic Northwoods Americana. The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Nestled in the Nicolet National Forest in a quiet neighborhood our cabin is 300 feet off the Wolf River, and 500 feet from the UTV and snowmobiling trail. It is a stone's throw from countless activities for families to enjoy in every season, including state and national beaches with boat access, fishing, rafting, and paddling, biking, hunting, hiking and cross-country skiing. Please note: our neighbors live right next door. This cabin IS NOT suitable for parties, and does not allow parties.

Relax and play at this adorable cottage, on the water or on the trails. The Lake Effect on Lower Post Lake gives all the feels. It takes place before you arrive, the nature, the trees, the “up north” vibe. This beautiful lake home greets you with wonderful pine throughout. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round.
