Cozy, rustic One room cabin.

One room rustic cabin with private bath Sleeps 4 max comfortably. Small refrigerator, coffee pot ,microwave, outdoor firepit, and outdoor propane grill. Heat in cabin is a propane space heater and electric space heater. Overlooking small pond. We currently have bald eagles and golden eagles sighted daily. Close to the snowmobile trail, 4-wheeler trails, horse trails and the Pigeon River State forest. I-75 does run along side of property, but has a tree line which blocks the sight of it.

Clean, cute, and welcoming! Vanderbilt is a small, quiet town. For more things to do, visit Gaylord (8 miles), Boyne City (15 miles) or Petoskey (20 miles). This historic property dates back to the 1930’s so please note this home is old and has a wall furnace in the living room, & closing the bedroom doors can make it colder in there during the winter months. There are space heaters in both rooms. The locked door in the master bedroom is my cleaning closet, if questions please ask.

This place is a gem. The free bikes were clutch to ride around town and check out the distillery and breweries. Shorts has such good food! Do not sleep on the pretzels! The room, shared outdoor area and jacuzzi were lovely. The water flow sounds and the wildlife were amazing, lots of sweet deer to fawn over. I would definitely return!

The place was pure serenity, it’s an amazing location for peace and quiet, offering a great amount of privacy. The Wi-Fi reception was excellent, and the TV was positioned well. I appreciated the comfort of not having a TV in the bedroom, and the beds were very comfortable. However, if you need to use the bathroom throughout the night, be cautious of the stairs. Other than that, it’s a very nice location.

The house was great! Everything was clean, functional, and there was plenty of space. We had 14 adults and nobody felt crowded. Jared responded quickly to any inquiries and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Would highly recommend and definitely considering visiting again! The only single thing I would note that wasn't overwhelmingly positive was that the loft with the queen beds was extra even though a fee wasn't mentioned. It all worked out well, but be prepared to pay extra if it's needed for your group. 5 stars!

Really enjoyed this beautiful and mostly secluded cabin in the woods while up North for a wedding. Clean kitchen with plenty of amenities, quiet space, and really enjoyed the hot tub at night while watching the moon from the porch. The hosts were very communicative and had easy to follow instructions. Would definitely book again if I find myself in the area.
