Holiday rentals in Elm Mott, McLennan County

Very stylish and clean container home located with several other container homes, but very well placed so each home has privacy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the upper deck enjoying a glass of wine at night. The upper bedroom has a private bath and shower which is convenient so you don’t have to go down to the main level to shower. The location for us was a little further out from downtown Waco and Magnolia (10-15 mins) than we realized, however we should have checked. There is a nice restaurant and small shops nearby. Keep in mind that most restaurants and shops are closed on Sunday and two of our first choice restaurants for dinner are not open on Monday so we missed out. Overall, we enjoyed our container home experience and would definitely stay in another one of their locations again.

This cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family. My wife and I have 4 kids all under 11 and we all loved it! All our kids slept up in the loft (our two boys shared a twin and our two girls shared the other twin) which was like a tree fort for them, they were thrilled! The cabin was cozy, spotlessly clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. All the furniture is very comfortable as well, especially the chairs in the living room and on the deck, which was a lovely feature of property… we got to watch a few Texas thunderstorms roll in while we were there and the peaceful atmosphere on the porch as we enjoyed the sound of the rain and thunder was a highlight of the trip. We had some neighbors in the cabin next-door, but they were great AND there is a large bush between the two cabins which obscures any view, which was nice and gives the porch a private feel. The AC/heating also works fantastic and it was super close to Homested Heritage activities. We will be back for sure! Thanks!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The home was spotless and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The large, tree-lined yard provided a peaceful and scenic setting, and direct access to the river was a huge bonus — perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature with the family. We made great use of the hot tub, fire pit, and pickleball court, and grilling in the evenings was a highlight. The hosts were absolutely top notch — responsive, thoughtful, and made sure everything was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

My wife and daughters spent a few days in Waco at Taylor's place and had the most memorable time. It was a special time for them to spend together and Taylor's place was the perfect place to make those memories.

This was such a nice mini get away, Taylors place was absolutely perfect. Very quiet, secluded, yet and very cozy and “home feeling”. I enjoyed my stay and will hope to return soon!

Nice little place, and easy to find. Near the lake if you are wanting to do the water stuff. I appreciated all the little extras at this place that aren't required but sure make for a better stay. Plenty of paper goods, in both the bathroom and the kitchen. Kitchen had soap dispensers for the hand soap and to hand wash dishes. The dishwasher had plenty of detergent pods under the sink and the laundry had detergent pods available as well. The bathroom had some extra supplies one might forget to pack, I appreciated the flossers. Just the extra little things that save you a trip to the store, and plenty of potty paper. I was well pleased with the place to stay.

The Little Dutch Cabin was a perfect awasis for our sister girls trip to Waco. Lindsey and Kenneth were extremely quick to respond and were great hosts. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, well - stocked, and had so many thoughtful touches. We loved relaxing in the soaking tub and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed watching the horses graze while drinking coffee and eating breakfast on the patio. Although located off a main road, it was still very safe, quiet, and peaceful. It is far enough away, but still close to all the downtown excursions Waco has to offer. We enjoyed exploring all the Magnolia grounds, the suspension bridge, and horseback riding at Brazos Bluffs Ranch. We would not hesitate to book this listing again in the future. Thank you!

We had an issue with the hotel that we booked and had to cancel our stay there. I contacted Angela to verify availability for me, my wife and daughter. They were able to have the house ready for us in 15 minutes. We were very appreciative of them being able to accommodate us in such short notice. The house was great, very peaceful area. So glad we were able to stay there.
