Carrie was an amazing host from booking the reservation to making sure check out was a breeze. She was so accommodating and friendly, I felt like I was talking with a friend. The home itself is beyond describable. Every room was immaculate and the backyard views will be something we never forget. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the big, private beach and water! I’m so happy we decided to spend our last vacation as a family of 3 here! We are already planning our next visit with Carrie when the baby arrives. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!!! We highly recommend this home!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

We appreciated the local chips and beer and special dog cookie. This is a great spot and we are thankful it is dog friendly.

Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided. Way beyond many places. Stocked kitchen and bathroom. Property is on be of a kind. Elk Lake is a treasure. Enjoy.

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed in other units in this community..none as nice as this unit. The place has had a lot of thought,care, and creativity to make this little place feel special. Kudos.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

Our family absolutely loved staying at Clint's! The view was amazing! Everything was just perfect! Waking up to that view from the loft every morning was my favorite! 😍 There was plenty of room for 2 families to stay comfortably. Would love to stay again.

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. Our family enjoyed our stay! We were able to swim kayak, bonfires and grill all in one stay ! Driving distance to torch lake was extremely close. Village market was just 2 minutes from the cabin and wonderful just down the road. I would recommend a stay with Emily !

This home was just as advertised. Clean, well stocked and our host was very responsive to our few questions. If you are planning a trip centered around biking, you can’t beat this location! It’s right on the TART trail. The condo was the perfect size for my husband and I and our small dog. Highly recommend.

This was an absolute gem! The yurt was an experience both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was so clean and fresh, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Kirsten was also a fabulous host who was very responsive and helped us celebrate a birthday by leaving us a little treat to enjoy during our stay! 11 out of 10 would recommend this place to anybody, and we hope to come back. (Side note: never knew I needed an outdoor shower until NOW! Absolutely loved!)

The communication with the host was smooth and prompt, despite the fact that we were booking last minute they were very accommodating. The space was immaculately clean and minimal but tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with ample parking and a short drive from several restaurants (and of course Traverse City)! We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for such a memorable stay—we will definitely be back during the summertime to enjoy the TART trail!

Amazing location! Views for miles in most directions. House is comfortable, clean, and quiet with all the amenities of home. We saw deer daily while watching sunrise and sunset views from deck.

Donald and Karen’s tent was a perfect, cozy home base for our mid-November getaway. We had so much fun exploring the property and using the wood stove ( a definite highlight!).
