In the west of Duisburg, on the city limits to Krefeld and Moers, our apartment (45 square meters) is located in a quiet side street. Due to the nearby highway A 57 (about 2 km) with the junctions to the A 40, A 42 and A 44, you can quickly reach worthwhile excursion destinations on the Lower Rhine and in the Ruhr area, the airport and the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. If you have to work temporarily in Krefeld, Duisburg or Moers, you will find comfortable accommodation with us even for a longer period of time.

The Duisburg houseboat Lore in the heart of the city

Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

Good transport connections to e.g. Duisburg, Venlo, Düsseldorf MESSE, Neuss. 1 combined living room/bedroom (140cm bed), 1 hallway with wardrobe, 1 bathroom (shower, toilet) and 1 kitchen (all things for daily use available). The door is lockable. 1 office chair for home office can be provided. There is 1 small table with 2 chairs in the front garden. English and French spoken. Welcome!

With love for the details and an eye for its historical origins, a unique and extremely atmospheric location has been created. On the 1st floor there is the loft-like living area with a cozy living/dining area - and the unique 180-degree view. On the lower level there are the 2 bedrooms, the laundry room and the shower room with a toilet.

Beautiful tiny house with garden and terrace

Beautiful newly renovated 22 sqm cottage with private garden and terrace. Through the hallway in the main house you come into the garden, here is the entrance to our small but fine rear house. The floor consists of light exposed concrete with underfloor heating. The old ceiling beams were exposed and oiled. The bathroom floor has the original old Art Nouveau tiles. The small kitchenette was built by us from an old workbench.

It was fantastic! The contact in advance with Verena was very friendly and warm. The personal reception by the mother as well. I felt right at home and very comfortable. Everything was there, everything was sparkling clean and the furnishings were upscale. The great location on this enchanting farm with the chickens and horse "Maurice" was something very special. I often talked with the mother and it felt like I was with friends. If I ever find myself back in my old homeland, I'd love to come back here anytime, if I may.

Me and my partner stayed at this lovely accommodation which backs off to stadtwald which has a local beer garden and lake with lots of beautiful surroundings, we stayed for weekend and felt right at home, Artur and saskia were lovely hosts taking our luggage for us before check in so we could explore Krefeld without the hassle of carrying our suitcases. The home is unlike anything we’ve stayed in before and is definitely our favourite one to date. We will definitely be coming back here for all of our future visits to Krefeld. I proposed at the property as well as it was just the perfect setting for it and we had the most amazing weekend together and felt right at home within the apartment. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Krefeld it has all the amenities of a house you could think of and more. Thank you again Artur and Saskia for your hospitality and attention to detail, also for the bakery food which we loved! All the best Ryan and Rebecca.

Andrea is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We slept with 10 people in the accommodation, which was no problem at all. Highlights were definitely the comfortable beds and Andrea's three dogs! Overall a great stay, which we can recommend!
