This place was great! The only drawback was that it’s about a 30 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe but it’s spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and an hour from the Albuquerque airport! It was the perfect spot for our friend reunion!

I can’t recommend Claire and Will’s casita enough. It’s exactly my kind of place. I needed a place where I could work on music (without bothering neighbors) for a few days in preparation for an event I was playing, and the casita fit the bill perfectly! It’s a wonderful, comfortable, and clean space. Very conducive to creative work. If you like quietude and being out and away from the busy-ness of town, this is the place for you. It’s super easy to get into Santa Fe when you want to, and is a great place to “come home to” when you’ve been out. Claire and Will are very hands off, while also being responsive if you have questions, needs, etc. They are cool and interesting folks. I imagine they hear this a lot, but I’m ready to move into the casita full time! Haha… I look forward to staying there again.

What an incredible stay! The house is absolutely beautiful—peacefully tucked away in nature, yet just a short drive from Santa Fe. The surroundings are stunning, with a trail right outside the door, perfect for morning walks or sunset strolls. Inside, everything was spotless and tastefully decorated with natural materials. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the beds were so comfy we didn’t want to get up! Sharon and Clem were absolutely wonderful hosts—so friendly and easy to communicate with. They made us feel very welcome from the start. If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded getaway near Santa Fe, look no further—you’ve found it. Thank you, Sharon and Clem, for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Overall we had a great experience staying at Dave & Lee’s place. The place is small as they mention in the description, but the space works really well in allowing a comfortable stay with great views.. Every photo matched what we were expecting. The location was also great as we were about a 30 minute drive from Santa Fe which was a very easy drive once you hit the highway. If you’re looking to hike, the location of the house is also a short 10 minute drive to Pecos National Park. We did want to note that because the house is located on a mountain, the driveway to the house is very steep which can make walking to and from your car challenging if you don’t have an AWD vehicle to park directly in front of the house. We brought a wagon to help load and unload our luggage which made it easier to carry everything from the alternative parking location up the hill.

We had a great stay and this house was perfect for us. Private with a 20-25 minute drive to Santa Fe, also good as a home base for day trips..Well stocked kitchen, all appliances relatively in new condition and very clean throughout. Would recommend for 2-4 persons and would stay there again in the future.

Steve and Jean run a magical and perfectly arranged peaceful getaway casita. Down to the great coffee and designer plush facecloths! Want to come again as a city getaway and Steve now feels like a friend.
