Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Elands Bay

We stayed for two nights but honestly wished we stayed for more, the place is stunningly beautiful, it really felt like a home away from home albeit within walking distance from the beach, quite literally a few steps over a dune. It was comfortable, modern and spacious! The area around is breathtaking and we even managed to see a few dolphins frolicking nearby! We will definitely come here again!

Probably one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Exactly what we needed to unwind, with a stunning home in a beautiful location. Attention to detail and very generous hosts. The home is also equipped with every appliance you can think of. This is why I enjoy booking Airbnb homes over hotel rooms, it’s the personal touch and warmth that is unmatched. Would definitely return!

The location was wonderful and being dog friendly was a huge bonus and the reason we chose Kathy’s house . Our only comment is that the bathrooms and kitchen need a bit of an upgrade ie in bedroom 2 the shelf is so high you can’t use it. I had to store my toiletries on the floor ( no small bench or vanity top). We are slightly biased as we own a kitchen and furniture design company so probably hard to please 😊 A few towel hooks outside would be great The hot tub was a winner and we absolutely loved it and used if each day.

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

We had such a lovely stay! The view overlooking the ocean was absolutely breathtaking, and the cozy ambiance with the indoor fireplace made our weekend perfect. A relaxing and memorable experience!

Perfect getaway for large family group, ample space to host a big party of people in comfort. Can't beat the beautiful location, we were spoilt with beautiful weather and felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Really appreciated the late pm check out. Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corene’s place. The house is neat, spacious and has the most amazing views. We particularly enjoyed the patio overlooking the sea. Will definitely visit this property again!

Ilane was a perfect host, and the unit was beautifully decorated, neat and clean. All the necessary cleaning equipment was provided and the washer/dryer combo is a big plus.

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at the accommodation. Karien, the host, gave clear check-in instructions that were easy to follow, she is very responsive with messages and gave us recommendations for dining spots to visit in the area. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare light meals. The bedding and towels were quality brands, and they were clean and fresh. The views from the room is breathtaking. Myself, my husband, my parents and my aunt stayed for one night. Beautiful views, peaceful environment, great listing with everything you will need for a quiet get-away. You can go for long walks along the coastline or sit and watch the sun set. I highly recommend this listing and experience. The listing is as advertised and more.

Really great place to stay. Right on the sea front, far end of town. Very quiet. Easy access to beach below. Hear the lapping waves. Very clean and very well equipped. Pleasantly surprised to have a shower as was not mentioned. We thought it was a bath only. Great shower it was too! Very comfy big bed. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Read a book or beach walk, yet near enough to restaurants. Highly recommend.

We only had one night but could have stayed for a week. Private and 50m from the beach. Tastefully decorated with all one would need for a short stay in Paternoster. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful spacious house on a beautiful location. The house is well built so you can enjoy the nature even when the West Coast wind shows up. Smart touches like an airfryer and an ice machine added a level of convenience you don’t often get at rental places. The host was friendly, proactive and super responsive. I will definitely recommend this place. And also add the apartment for even more space.

What a wonderful time in an immaculate home at the beach front. Beautiful views over the ocean whilst playing card and board games (provided) with the family. Extensive library to read from and a kitchen VERY well equipped with lots of pots, pans and serving plates. The bed linen were clean, comfortable and high quality.

Such a fantastic place! Perfect for a group of friends. The views and sunset were incredible, and it was amazing being right on the beach. The hot tub, fireplaces and indoor braai make it the perfect winter escape.

My team and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The place was pristine and clean. The design was beautiful, unique and had very comfortable furniture to compliment the layout. The kitchen has additional amenities,ample crockery, and cutlery to cater to the needs throughout the stay. The back area is well maintained,neat and free of risk. The indoor pool is cornered off with glass panels preventing possible accidents. Rolinda was an absolutely stellar. She was extremely attentive, provider an amazing handover of the property and was responsive and helpful to any of our needs/issues. I highly recommend this property.

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

We really loved this place. Right at the beachfront and a great house. It has everything you can dream off.
