Holiday rentals in El Dos de Tilaran (San Ramon)

Barclay’s home was perfect for a getaway close enough to La Fortuna for convenience, but far enough to enjoy peace and nature. Every day brought stunning views and tons of wildlife. I was a bit hesitant at first because there’s no A/C, but it turned out to be a non-issue. The cool nighttime breeze and lower temperatures made for some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Barclay and his wife are absolutely lovely, they even shared some of their homegrown bananas with us, and they were delicious! Highly recommend this place, 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay. Sometimes pictures make a place look a lot nicer than it is, but in this situation the place is even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of space especially for its size, a well stocked kitchenette, and great shelving and storage. We initially got a little confused trying to find the location with our apps, but Aurora’s very detailed message with photos got us where we needed to be. We really appreciated her proactive and thorough communication. This is somewhere we would have been happy in on an extended stay. It’s not far from Santa Elana but is removed enough to be peaceful, and the back deck and beautiful window wall with string lights was a beautiful and ambient touch. This is sincerely the best bang for buck place we have ever stayed in and highly recommend it!

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft abseits von Lärm und Trubel. Trotzdem ist man super schnell in der Stadt La Fortuna und den vielen Aktivitäten. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis mit dem Whirlpool, Outdoorküche und Outdoorbadezimmer. Alles ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Anlage rundherum ist voll mit grünen Pflanzen und bunten Blumen. Herrlich zum abschalten 😃

Diana and Roberto were amazing hosts. Roberto gave us a tour of the property that includes beautiful plants, fruit trees, coffee making and a spring fed pool. We decided not to tour the Cloud Forest because the trails on the property cannot be beat! The hot tub and pool table provided family entertainment. We did activities each morning to enjoy the sunshine and then relaxed at the house and property each rainy afternoon. It was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. This place was amazing!

Si estás buscando un lugar para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza, definitivamente este es el correcto. El lugar es hermoso, tiene una vista a la montaña perfecta. Agua caliente de la ducha funciona bien y el wifi con muy buena velocidad. La ubicación es bastante alejada del centro, hay que seguir las instrucciones muy bien para poder llegar, sin embargo vale la pena cuando uno llega al lugar.

Agradezco a Diego por toda la hospitalidad, nos hizo sentir como en casa, muy atento y siempre en comunicación; pendiente de nuestras necesidades. El lugar es muy acogedor, tranquilo y ubicado en un lugar que guarda la esencia de la comunidad. Los jardines y zonas verdes muy bien cuidados. La pasamos maravilloso, les recomiendo el lugar.

We had an awesome experience in Arenal, and Franz and Jenny were a big part of that. The rental itself is great--incredible view (unpredictable rainforest weather permitting), clean, and modern. We woke up every morning at sunrise to the sound of the birds that were just 10-20 feet outside the window (toucans, oropendulos, flycatchers, etc). The hosts went out of their way to help us schedule some local tours which were authentic and unique. Also, Franz is a hell of a chef; the included breakfast each morning was delicious, varied, and plentiful (we skipped lunch more than once because we were so full!). As noted by others, it is a bit of a trek from La Fortuna, but as long as you plan your day appropriately, it's really no big deal. There are enough options for dinner nearby that there's no need to go back "into town". The drive there is doable without 4WD, but I would get a vehicle with it just to be safe (also allows for fun excursions). Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Tuvimos una experiencia muy agradable en este Airbnb. Desde el primer momento, la comunicación con Keylin fue excelente: siempre atenta, muy servicial y dispuesta a ayudar con cualquier duda. La vista al volcán es increíble, definitivamente uno de los mayores encantos del lugar. El jacuzzi y el área de la fogata no se quedan atrás! Es un espacio muy acogedor y bien equipado, ideal para desconectarse del ajetreo diario y disfrutar de la naturaleza en un ambiente relajante. En nuestro caso celebramos nuestro aniversario acá, y el servicio de decoración que ofrecen para ocasiones especiales es excelente, superó por mucho nuestras expectativas. Realmente es una experiencia única y perfecta para descansar, reconectar y simplemente disfrutar! No dudaríamos en visitar nuevamente este lugar. Gracias de nuevo, Keylin!
