No words to describe this utterly glorious place. The views, the ambience, the comfort. The magical garden with the glorious birdsong and Kruger in front of you. We could not have chosen a more glorious place.

Had an amazing time! The house is in the most beautiful place, with stunning views all around. Balcony has a beautiful view, especially at sunrise as well as the mountains behind. Adolf is incredibly hospitable and helpful with local recommendations. The house is even more impressive than the photos! Ideal location for exploring Blyde River Canyon. Was an amazing time away!

I was worried that the house wouldn’t look as nice as it did in the pictures, but wow, it was even better in person. It is a stunning place. Open plan and beautiful, it brought the outside in. It was peaceful and animals happily wandered past. The stars at night were just insane!! It’s in a really great spot, but also close to amenities. Will definitely be back!!

Fine house, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Decent kitchen and braii, good wine glasses - these are the things that matter! The wildlife visiting the deck was a treat - feeding kudu from a bucket, zebra from the hand - carefully… For those who don’t know Marloth Park, it’s a large, secure, gated estate. Walking after dark is discouraged because there’s a small risk from predators, not crime…. Two supermarkets, butchers and the pub are a minute’s drive away. Hope to make a repeat visit soon.

Birdsong was simply incredible—I never know places like this existed! Chris was very helpful as we were planning our trip, providing us with recommendations for game drives, grocery stores, and logistics. Upon arrival, we were met by Joan who showed us around the house and was available if we needed anything. The house itself was modern but comfortable—it was even nicer than in the pictures—and very well equipped. Our group included my spouse, elderly father-in-law, and my young adult son and his girlfriend. Birdsong provided plenty of space for all of us. Lots of animal friends stopped in to visit us—zebras, kudu, impala, deer, monkeys (so entertaining!), and a warthog family (the babies were so cute!). We had our meals on the large patio and having the pool right there was awesome. Checkout was easy—Nick stopped by to pick up the keys from us. I definitely hope we can return to the magical place again.

Rita’s place didn’t disappoint , the unit is lovely just like the pictures and Rita has gone out of her way to think of every little thing that her guests may need, one of the nicest Air Bnb listing we have stayed at,was our first time visiting Marloth park we loved the animals visiting every day. Very peaceful stay and Rita is a very responsive host 💕

We made a last minute booking, Ina and James were so quick to get back to us. They had us checked in within 30 mins of us booking. James was so friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations and showed us around the property. The house is amazing, just as seen in the pictures. Beds are comfortable. And has all the amenities you would need plus more. And in addition to a great place to stay you get some amazing visitors in your back yard! Highly highly recommend staying here. It is also only 25 mins from Crocodile Bridge entrance gate to Kruger National Park.

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

My partner and I had a wonderful one-night stay at Alan's place. We arrived later in the evening, but were warmly welcomed and guided through the gate without any issues. That night, we enjoyed a cozy bonfire in the beautiful courtyard. The kitchen and pantry were well-stocked with essentials, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Although we had to leave early the next morning, we were able to enjoy a coffee on the porch, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We only wish we had had more time to stay longer!

Amazing place. Ahh. In the middle of nature, amazing hosts, kept seeing giraffes, safe feeling and such a wonderful place! We sat around the fire every evening listening to the nature and my husband playing guitar. Our souls really rested. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed is comfy. Had a swim in the river in the morning and then a hot shower on an outdoorsy feeling bathroom- is there anything better than that. Also: hosts are amazing. We had such fun conversation and the feeling is very homie. The road is gravel road but easy to drive even with a low car. Can't wait to come here again for a longer time! Also, the welcoming committee, named Maxie (the little dog) is the best welcoming ever.

Absolutely loved my stay at Klaus and Ridwaan's cabin. Cozy and fully-equipped cabin nestled up on a hill with beautiful views. Easy access to multiple nearby gate entrances to the park. And Ridwaan & Klaus were delightful hosts and it was a pleasure to get to meet them, made the stay even better 😊 I'd love to come back someday. Highly recommend!!

Exactly what we needed for our overnight stop. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped and Mbongeleni was an excellent host.

Incredible little spot. The log cabin was very peaceful. Really awesome kitchen. Fully stocked and easy to use. With a view of the Emu outside. The bathroom has a giant tub and is decorated tastefully with enough big towels. The rooms were just perfect and comfy and the sheets soft. Wish we had more time to stay there. The Cabin does get a little hot in the afternoon in summer but cooled down by night time. Surrounded by a beautiful pond and gorgeous nature. Lovely spot to eat outside. We could spend hours just soaking in the surroundings. There were game animals around the farm we saw regularly on walks. The farm was simply pastoral.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.

We really liked the stay, they where very attentive with us and we loved the place, surely we will return with more people so that they also know the place

Nice place. Clean. Hot water was hot and the kitchen was well stocked with enough dishes to cook or bake and a big refrigerator. WiFi worked well and there was a fireplace with some wood for a fire. Nice porch over looking the pond and pasture and a couple of ancient rock circles you can see up on the hill. The hosts are friendly and responsive and even got the neighbor to visit and show me how to fly fish. The pond has a ton of rainbow trout you can see eating bugs off the surface. I enjoyed the stay and the property and would stay again.
