The host was very accommodating, responded promptly to all questions, went above and beyond to clarify any confusion on my part, and provided my traveling partner and I a unique stay that gave us perspective into Japanese living. It was a highlight of our stay and we highly recommend this location for any travellers who want to immerse themselves in Kabukicho.

Second time we stayed here and would stay again. Quiet neighborhood close to the station and sights.

So close to restaurants and the Meguro River and the shopping is great. Close to the train station so very easy to get around. The place is not spacious but then we were only there to sleep. We really enjoyed the locality. Riki’s communication was excellent.

If you are looking to stay in a real neighborhood in Tokyo, away from the mass of tourists and noise, then this place is for you. I have traveled to Japan many times and always found Tokyo to be a little exhausting, but Yuga's place gave me a fresh perspective. The check-in was super easy, the place is new, clean, quiet with a modern layout. Access to many trains within a quick walk. There is a huge Muji that is just a 10-minute bus ride, too, with four floors and hardly any shoppers — so great instead of fighting with the crowd in city-center. Highly recommended and will be back the next time that I am in Tokyo!

Motohiro was a wonderful host. He was very kind, accommodating, and responsive. The location was easy to find and near everything you need. It was a very short walk to the subway and central to other parts of Tokyo. I am very happy I stayed here for my visit!

We went to Tokyo in June of 2025 and wanted a central place to stay where we could easily walk around. Neighborhood is safe, there is a Family Mart and a Lawsons right up the street and a 7-11 close as well. About a 10 minute walk gets you to the heart of things, shopping. Area, Godzilla head area. Train station about a 15 minute walk. The area is safe, his place has a washer you won’t get in a hotel. Ideal for 2 or 3 people, you could do 4 but that’s max. I would stick to 2 or 3. Wi-Fi worked well. Would stay there again.

My family and I really felt at home in Maiko’s place. It was very clean, she provided all the necessary amenities and it was very comfortable. We had such a great time staying there. Roads to her house are narrow, we drove an alphard and it was possible, but it can be difficult for some people. Overall I’ll definitely recommend this place! Thank you for hosting us Maiko 😊

When I asked if there was a DVD/BluRay player, I was told that there wasn't, and I was about to give up, but I was really grateful that you had one!Thanks to you, I was able to watch the movie I wanted to see with everyone, and it was a lot of fun.It was a relief that it wasn't a subscription. The residence was spacious and comfortable, and the bedroom and living room were separated on the 1 and 2, so we were able to rest at our own pace.The bath and▪️ shower were separate, and it was a clean and wonderful place to stay. It would have been even better if there had been a TV in the living room (with chairs and a long table)!

I was very pleased with the location. The house was private enough and yet close to the train station and restaurants. Walking from the house to the train station was a joy due to all the restaurants and convenience stores on the way. I highly recommend this place, and I would highly consider staying here again on my next trip to Japan. Rika and her team did a great job communicating with me before, during, and after my stay.

This stay is for 7 people and is used for 8 days. Eating and drinking: There is Lawson on a 3min walk, there is also a supermarket Ito Yoka Hall for daily needs, and there is also a local Izakaya with ramen shop nearby. Transportation: It is about 13min (about 900m) from Yokogi Station, there is also a bus stop near the accommodation, about 30min from Shin-Koiwa Station, which is quite convenient to get to Akihabara, Skytree, Asakusa and other areas. In terms of accommodation: The overall room type and quantity, the bed sheets are clean and tidy, the bathroom and toilet are also clean, and there is shampoo and shower gel. The part of the cookware, there are some pots and spatulas that should be used infrequently, there is some dirt, and clean up after yourself before use. Overall a place to recommend.

The place is in a great location very close to Nishi Waseda station. The size of the apartment is relatively big for Tokyo and is very comfortable for a longer stay. Lots of restaurants, supermarket and shops nearby. Will definitely stay again!

Ki’s place is in a quiet neighbourhood, well connected by public transport, variety of options to try the local cuisine. Ki has been a wonderful host right from the time of booking. Recommendation for local transport and amenities have been very useful for somebody who is visiting Japan for the first time. Appreciate the proactive follow up checking our comfort and wellbeing.

We had a pleasant stay in Tokyo in this accommodation located in the Ikebukuro district. The description and photos are very accurate. Everything went well: special mention to the host who is very responsive if you have any questions!

This was our first Airbnb in Japan and it started off the trip well. 5 full size beds in 3 bedrooms was great for privacy. Mattresses are on the firm side. It's in the middle of K-town so lively and exciting, but on Monday night, I could hear people and k-pop playing until 4 am. Luckily I enjoy the music and was so jet-lagged, I slept through most of it. There's a filtered water dispenser, which is very nice for filling reusable bottles for the day and not having to worry about buying from the store. There's a couple hosts and the one who was in charge of communication during the trip was very responsive, even when I messaged at 7 am (sorry!) The dining table was nice to eat quick meals at and a Lawson is right around the corner. The shower was fairly clean, but we did have to use the designated shower slippers and the area right outside the shower lacked clean space to put down our clean clothes or toiletry bags etc. Not a big deal unless you're a germaphobe. Overall great experience!

Great location! So close to the hustle and hustle of Shibuya and yet so quiet and so peaceful and in such a great area! I loved the location! The home is clean and very spacious and especially for Tokyo standards and had everything we needed. Close to all types of shopping, grocery, dining, bars and restaurants. The host is very responsive and I appreciated that as well. Overall, I recommend this home for its great location in Tokyo and the fact that it’s a clean and spacious home with a responsive host.

エイホウさん was an amazing host. Very warm, friendly and positive attitude, always responsive. I loved my 7-day-stay at this apartment and it was mainly because of エイホウさんpresence. The price is right, the location was very quiet and close enough to 2 subway/train stations which made it easy to go anywhere. Thank you エイホウさん for everything!!
