Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Edina

We stayed for a week to attend two high school graduations. This location was ideal, near the airport, mall, and Bloomington and Edina schools. We enjoyed our stay, were able to have grandkids spend time with us. We called this home cute, cozy, complete, comfortable and convenient. Sue and Serena answered questions and responded immediately to our needs. This quaint, older home has been tastefully remodeled and has all the amenities for an extended stay. We were pleased to see so much for the price. This is on our save list for future visits.

My friend and I had an excellent stay during our time in Minneapolis. The home was very cozy and we felt very welcome there. The host was also kind and communicative.

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our visit. From check-in to check-out, communication was smooth and easy. The space itself was absolutely wonderful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. Whether it was the well-stocked kitchen or the comfortable bed, toys for the children, it truly felt like a home away from home. We even accidentally left a few items behind, and the host was kind enough to send them back to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I’d definitely come back again!

I was very happy staying at Harriet Hideaway. The home is spotless and comfortable. The king size bed is outrageously comfortable. Though this home sits on a corner with a bit of traffic, it is very quiet inside and I never noticed any noise. I love that the lake is a very walkable distance from the home and the neighborhood is gorgeous along the way. I will be staying there again soon and am looking forward to my upcoming visit.

My husband and I felt like we scored a fabulous rental! It has the best of what we love: Large comfortable home/space, natural surroundings (especially near bodies of water!) but still close to shops, restaurants, and so on, plus good communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again and we recommend Sabrina's place to others.

One of the rare times I felt the place looked better than the photos! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again when in Minneapolis. I felt right at home, it was clean, comfortable bed, easy check-in. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, the university, Stone Arch Bridge. Very good value for the price I paid. Note that there isn’t a washer/dryer in unit, rather the building had a room, use quarters.

My friend and I have stayed here twice now for writing retreats and just love it. First of all the aesthetics and design are just right on with lovely natural light, no clutter, and high end choices. Everything is functional and beautiful and comfortable. I am amazed at the hosts ability to design a space. Second of all, the coffee shop downstairs is so great and has a great vibe. It is also right on a hiking trail. For a writing retreat, it was perfect.

We got in later than expected and were greeted with a basket full of snacks. The place was so comfortable and spacious. If we're are ever in the area we will stay with Mark again. Highly recommend.

Quiet restful haven in the trees, well furnished with everything you'd need and nice appliances. Great responsive hosts. Be aware that unless you're running background fans or a sound machine you will likely hear the nearby trains sounding their horns at all hours of the night.

John and Zina are terrific hosts and the space is perfect for a weekend getaway. It's well appointed and comfortable. Easy walking distance from Minneapolis Institute of Art, Eat Street restaurants, and shopping. Nice access to biking trails, too. Highly recommended!

I’m a local host as well, just needed a place for a couple days last minute in between projects at home. This space was so perfect. Very spacious, cozy, private and peaceful! This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

I would like to give this apartment a 5 for the clean, pleasant environment inside and out and good host communication. However, it was not quite as well equipped as I typically find in an airbnb and therefore a 4 for value.

We loved our stay at this charming, clean and comfortable unit. The location was great, close to the Macalester campus, coffee shops and other local spots. Also Jean-Claude was a responsive and kind host. We would definitely come back!

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

We took a few days off to explore the twin cities and used the Airbnb as our base. The hosts were wonderful and were very proactive to ensure we had a great stay. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable, and also had all of the amenities we needed. Overall great place, great hosts! I would stay there again.

The stay was very nice. Great and creative decor that made the stay very comfortable with great energy. Nice games to play, variety of restaurants, arcade and park/playground in neighborhood. Awesome tv and sound for movie watching. Beds are super comfortable. Beautiful appliances and I love the hand soap fragrance, towels for removing. make-up (those extra details make a difference).

This was our second time booking with Lisa, however for a different unit. Again, it was a great stay. I enjoyed the coziness of this condo and quietness of the neighborhood despite being in the city. She has everything you need for cooking and baking. I work remotely and the internet speed was great. The bed was super comfortable. I appreciated the on-site laundry too. Everyone was friendly overall!
