In 1 word: Wow! We enjoyed it so much there! We had nothing missing, very nicely decorated and this in a prime location. If you don't become zen here, then nowhere... Otto and Nathalie, you are more than worthy of the 5 stars!

Very friendly welcome. Home very neat and fully equipped. You can relax in the ecological garden at a stone's throw from Lier. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights with 7 people in Kris' Airbnb. The accommodation was exactly like the photos and we liked it very much. The house was beautifully spacious and had all the facilities / stuff you need. Think of the necessities for the barbecue, herbs, coffee, tea, etc. During our stay, we were lucky to have beautiful weather, so the swimming pool was perfect. The contact with Kris went smoothly and quickly. We also liked that the check-out time was flexible so we could leave at our leisure. We had a great stay where there was little to criticize. If you had to give a point of feedback, it is that 1 bathroom for 7 (or 8) people is actually just not enough. We knew this in advance, but a 2nd bathroom would be useful. Thanks again for everything! See you next time!

Sarah received us with an outstanding place. The house is perfect to fit a family or group of friends to explore Mechelen surroundings. With a great location to visit other Belgium cities. The park entrance at 2 min let you explore an incredible park, I will totally recommend to visit it. All local recommendations shared by Sarah were incredible. Enough space to park a car o bikes in a safe location. We were surprised with mechelen of how peaceful and beautiful it is

Bert and his wife were very friendly. We had a problem with our transport and they allowed us to keep our belongings in the lodge until we had van sorted. We didn’t use the mezzanine as stairs are steep and we are not young! We slept quite happily on the corner unit which was, surprisingly comfortable for the length of our stay, on ground floor. We’ed stay again. Thanks for your help with our situation Bert.

We had a wonderful stay with our group of friends this weekend in this house. There is a cozy large table with beautiful large sliding doors with lots of light to the beautiful large private garden. It is a pleasant quiet neighborhood, where you are centrally located in Antwerp with a 20-minute drive. Most of the beds were a bit hard, but fine. All in all, we had a great stay!

Bart’s place was excellent! The location was great and place amazing! It was perfect for a family, spacious house, with a conservatory and a lovely garden where we used to have our breakfast. We had a hot weather when we visited, the air cons were great in this weather! Clean, comfortable and beautiful house located very closed to the town easy to walk. Definitely recommend Bart’s place!

My family and I (4 of us) stayed here 4 nights in May of 2025. We loved our stay and truthfully would rent again simply for how great the host is. There was plenty of space for the four of us. All the amenities we needed to self cater and a lovely back yard to relax in after a day of site seeing. Location was great, few minutes walk to both public transport and grocery stores with many little eateries near by. Neighborhood felt safe and we didn’t notice any street noise. The host was amazing, she greeted us on arrival, gave us a full tour and showed us how everything worked. She provides lots of local recommendations and we enjoyed chatting with her. She had some interesting stories.

Our stay in this house with lots of charm in the immediate vicinity of the old town was very pleasant overall. The landlord was friendly and straightforward. The property impresses with its many windows, which provide plenty of light, and a quiet location ideal for relaxation after the many impressions of the day. Particularly practical is the proximity to a rental station of Velo Antwerpen, a bakery and a small supermarket, which makes everyday life easier. A small point of criticism is individual doors that do not completely close, which could affect privacy depending on the travel group. However, this is an easy to fix problem that can be solved quickly with some craftsmanship. If you wanted, there would be even smaller optimizations. For people with walking disabilities, the stairs are probably too steep and narrow. The house is a good choice for travellers looking for a bright and well located place to stay. We would definitely recommend it!

The house was perfectly clean and smells wonderful. You have everything you need during your stay. Tomas and Elmosa were great at communicating with us; they are friendly, responsive and flexible. The heater stopped working during the night and Tomas came first thing in the morning to make it work again. The garden is truly beautiful but some parts could be maintained better. Overall we recommend this house for a relaxing stay.

The apartment was spotless and looks exactly like the pictures. Very close to the train station and metro which is very convenient.

This is the third year in a row that we have stayed in this house for an extended weekend. Like every year, the house was in perfect order, and Linda & Peter were always ready to help us. We will definitely come back!

We had a great few days, the house was ideal for our family of five. Steven was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Nice place with lovely large garden with a nice canopy for outdoor dining and a jacuzzi. The house is also pleasant and big enough. All the comforts and clean. But for the feeling of privacy, I would have liked a hedge between both houses, for example. Although the (super friendly) hosts were not much at home, it still feels like you look in together very easily. But.. definitely enjoyed this nice place and who knows, we might come back again.

Kristen’s house is great - very modern and contemporary, lots of light, bigger than it looked in the photos. The area is really peaceful, but it’s only a short walk to the nearest tram stop if you want to travel into Antwerp centre.

Super central, supermarket, shopping, theater, everything around the corner within walking distance. Due to the downtown location, not super quiet, the fan of the opposite mall unfortunately makes a constant noise. But you're in the middle of the action. The layout of the house is great, thanks to the many bathrooms it was still relaxed with our travel group of 6 women. The roof terrace is nice and offers a good view. The kitchen could be a little cleaner. The house offers a good place to stay for a group at a fair price. We felt comfortable Communication with Geert is very good and fast. I can really recommend the apartment.

The place is perfect if you like to rest in a quiet place, surrounded by nature, walk to basic amenities of a quiet village and with a lovely walk. Centrally located to visit different cities around by car. Very well connected. Kris and his family offer you a simple, clean, and very cozy accommodation in a great rural environment and with a friendly treatment that makes you feel at home!

Had a wonderful weekend in Kelly and Stijn's cottage. Beautiful cottage, perhaps even more beautiful than in the photos and beautiful location. Arrival and departure times were also super. Recommended!

We were invited as a unified sailing team to participate in championships in Antwerp. Were looking for a quiet house as a base and this house certainly offered the necessary peace. Host responded very kindly, quickly and thoughtfully

This is a hidden gem, we were staying here on a work trip for 11 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were all surprised at how much better the place was than the photos and description showed. We had a lovely Comfortable stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. It was close enough to work, shops and other places we wanted to go to. The area was very quiet and felt extremely safe. Lesley was a great host with plenty of information about the house right from booking through till check in and check out, we didn’t have a need to contact Lesley during our stay but she was very responsive when we did talk even making sure that everything was okay after we had checked in to make sure we were happy and to reiterate that if there were any issues we could reach out whenever.
