We’d had a great stay at Becky’s place. Everything was as described and we directly felt at home. We explored the beautiful surroundings, did several hikes and felt really comfy back at Becky’s place putting a fire on. We would recommend staying at Becky’s.

Susan’s place was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. The place is in an ideal location, two minutes walk to the seafront, cafes and shops. Everything you could need for relaxing stay. Also the local Co-Op across the road. The place is spacious and spotless. The lovely outdoor seating area was great, as we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. All instructions clear and easy to access the house. Although we didn’t get to meet Susan as she was away, I spoke to her husband and he recommended a lovely Bistro called Stellas , which we booked for the Wednesday evening and both myself and partner loved it, the food was amazing and the host Graeme looked after us. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Place. The location is breathtaking, and the house itself is perfect - every detail is beautiful and well thought-out, and Lucy had provided anything one could think of. Everything was of very high quality, from the bed linen and towels to the kitchen equipment. We were all adults, but if you have children, there are lots of toys, games, and activities, so that even on rainy days, there is plenty to do. Great walks nearby, perfect both for those who like hills and those who prefer flatter ground - Buttermere and Crummock are wonderful low ground walks, and of course the walk though Holme Woods to the Kirkstile is lovely. Thanks, Lucy and Nick!

Our stay at this lovely house hosted by Mark during our Lake District trip was fantastic! The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the key sights, and the house itself comfortably accommodated our two families with a total of six people, including kids. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils, which made preparing meals a breeze. Overall, the house provided a cozy and functional space that enhanced our trip, and we would definitely recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and conveniently situated stay in the Lake District.

Donna’s place is beautiful. As soon as I arrived I felt at home, the place is super cosy with everything I needed. The bed is comfortable, shower is hot, there’s also a fire and heaters to stay warm. The views of the sheep in the field are so beautiful. I’d love to return in future.

Melanie’s place is superb! Such a quaint & cute cottage with a beautiful view to wake up to every morning from the bedroom. It was so lovely to be able to have a fire every night, it made the place so cosy! And also the bed was super comfortable. If you have a hire car, it’s a great location to drive to Keswick / Buttermere Lake / Bassenthwaite Lake / Whinlatter Forest - all spots I’d highly recommend! Thanks for having us Melanie!
