Beautiful accommodation where we spent a great weekend with friends. The space outside is very pleasant and peaceful. The interior of the house is spacious and very well equipped. We will not hesitate to come back during a future stay in the region!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of France. Communication was excellent and check in was seamless. Looking forward to coming back again. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Rebecca's, the accommodation is as described. Rebecca is a very responsive and accommodating host. The house is large and well-equipped for family gatherings. We would recommend it without hesitation 🙂

A very nice and functional cottage on an idyllic island. "An enchanted break". Aline is an available and considerate hostess.

Ideal accommodation for 2 couples with young children for a few days. If you are looking for peace and quiet and the beautiful French countryside, this accommodation is for you. Very natural place where we could meet many animals (sheep, bees, chickens, cows, dragonflies and also snakes). Mary and her son Jacob are very kind and available. I recommend

Extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. Made us feel right at home, almost as if we were friends of the family! Very helpful and responsive on messaging, provided excellent recommendations of things to do (recommend the kayaking) and even invited us to the local village fête de musique. A wonderful, relaxing and memorable time which we would certainly recommend.

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was in heaven. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

I don't have much to say, but if I had to sum it up in one word, I'd say Perfect!!! I would recommend it 100% . For the very cozy and very tasteful accommodation!! And for the very warm and responsive welcome!! If we pass through the area, we already know where to stay!! Thanks a lot ☺️

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Very nice and spacious and well-equipped accommodation. The only downside is the proximity of the road and the noise of the cars that circulate. Note, no battery in the remote control of the air conditioning of the downstairs bedroom, broken outdoor deckchair, no air conditioning in one of the upstairs bedrooms (under the roofs), bathroom mirror switch of the downstairs bedroom too bright.

What more can be said than exceptional? We will be back very soon and for longer. Impeccable service, simple, fast and available communication. We feel so good in this accommodation! Best accommodation near Angoulême that we could try.

An enchanted break!!! How can I tell you!! It's a paradise on earth, Céline and Christel are adorable. Very easy and pleasant communication. They have created a peaceful haven that takes you to a timeless world to rest. Everything is done with taste in the smallest detail. It's even more beautiful than in the photos. And the terrace is very pleasant for meals and relaxation. If you love nature and tranquility, book now. Thank you again for your time.

Cozy house with everything you need, we felt at home. Very nice surroundings and fun for our 2-year-old to see cows, chickens and goats. Perfect with outdoor furniture both in the sun and in a small outdoor room with open doors for hot days. We received a warm welcome and will gladly return.

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

Beautiful home matching the photos in a sublime and secluded setting. Ideal for meeting with friends for a weekend, I hope to have the opportunity to return to this home. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful accommodation. The accommodation was clean, luxurious and met all our expectations. The environment is beautiful, peaceful and natural and is perfect for a family. The pool was fantastic, as was the view of the valley. It was a pleasure to watch the sun set every day from the pool or balcony. Everything you need in the house for a relaxing vacation is there. Jessyca was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. We had a great time and can recommend a stay to everyone.

We loved our stay at David and Jerome’s place!! They were both extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful, whether having your morning coffee in the garden, an afternoon swim in the pool or an evening hot tub. Would highly recommend to all future guests!
