Z Shack

Z Shack is part of local history. In the 1940’s concrete barracks were built for Camp Gordon Johnston to house soldiers training for D-Day off the shores of Dog Island. Z Shack is part of what was once barracks, now a renovated condo. This unit is nestled in the middle of a row of condos with privacy fencing on both sides. Our unit is small dog friendly, but each pup visitor must be approved before booking. Sorry, no cats, we love them too but the litter box mess is too hard to keep clean.

Located minutes from Carrabelle beach and a 30-minute scenic drive to St. George Island or Apalachicola. !!Wildlife Warning!! We have never had ANY issue with the surrounding wildlife but just to err caution, please make sure that you do not leave any of the two entry doors open so that the chance of an unwanted guest is not welcomed.
