Relax in a luxurious space in the most prestigious and elegant district of Budapest close to Parliament and the beautiful Liberty Square. Beautiful building with lovely views both to internal patio and rooftops of classical Budapest. Very quiet and secluded on the third floor with lift. Original artwork and beautiful mid-20th century furniture combine with a stunning belle epoque interior of parquet floors and period features You will not find a more luxurious, more beautiful and better placed apartment in central Budapest. It is located in the most prestigious part of Budapest (best part of District V) a stone's throw from Parliament, and the most beautiful square Szabadsag where the American Embassy resides. It is also a short walk to Margaret Island for relaxation and exercise. The building itself with lift is in immaculate condition externally and internally adding to the experience of the apartment itself. It features a dedicated home office so is particularly good for those travelling on business or simply wish to have a dedicated space to catch up on work and emails as required. The kitchen features a five hob, three electric oven range cooker with dedicated dining area in the stylish hallway area so is wonderful for evening entertainment. The main living room has a new bluetooth enabled media and music player system along with smart TV. It is very unusual to find an apartment with A/C in Budapest due to restrictions on installation but this apartment comes with full hot cold function. It also has a back up electric hot water heating system in the event of a problem with the main boiler. Both bathrooms are en-suite with the master bathroom having both roll top bath with mixer and separate shower. Architectural features include period illumination, door fittings and artwork from Buenos Aires, designer furniture from UK providers, period bathroom fittings from Victorian Plumbing, parquet, mouldings, french style wall panelling and vitreaux. All of this luxurious space is at your disposal. Either I personally or one of my assistants will be there to greet you. I also have an airport pick-up service which depending on plane times can be arranged in advance of your arrival. I am in constant touch and have another property in Budapest also on airbnb where you can see from the reviews that I respond promptly to guest requests and provide good recommendations on where to go , cafes and dinner places. Close to all the major attractions in Budapest - parliament, St Stephens basilica, Liberty Square the grand buildings of this neighbourhood will remind you of Paris or Vienna at its best. Close to the elegant Liberte and other top restaurants. One minutes walk to parliament and 2 minutes to Kossuth Lajos metro. 5 minutes walk to St Stephens Cathedral. Arany Janos metro on line 3 is 5 minutes walk. The picturesque tram 2 is at the bottom of the street. Margaret island for nature lovers and runners is around an 8 minute walk. Basilica is 5 minutes walk away. To ensure maximum coverage it is essential this remains on the ledge by the stained glass window. Network is Internet router upc (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), password YEGHGMJN The smart TV has Netflix account, simply switch on, select menu and then scroll for Netflix and choose account “stephen”, there are also children’s channels and youtube. There is no dedicated cable channel service. To use the hi-fi system, switch on and then using the “mode” function (second from left) press through the functions until you reach “BT” for bluetooth. The connect your streaming device such as phone or tablet and select samsung micro 12d954 There is a TP-Link internet repeater plugged into the wall. This is essential for achieving decent wi-fi coverage in the living room and main bedroom particularly for the smart TV so please do not disconnect or move socket locations. Heating and hot water The thermostat to switch the heating on and off is on the wall in the hallway next to the main bathroom. The Honeywell thermostat shows the ambient temperature, simply press the arrow buttons up or down to lower or increase the temperature. There is back up heating through the three air conditioning units located in the living room and bedrooms. To switch on ensure first the display on the remote control is showing the right mode which is the “sun” icon then simply switch on. It normally takes 3-5 minutes in standby mode before the heating comes on. The hot water is instant from the boiler located in the loft above the second bedroom. If the pressure drops there is a filling loop which feeds the boiler which should be switched on for no more than a couple of seconds and then switched off again. Both showers feature an “anti-scald” feature. This is a small button on the shower mixer which cuts supply to the hot water if there is a temporary interruption of cold. If the button is in the “high” position simply depress and simultaneously turn the mixer tap anti-clockwise The main water supply switch off is under the shelf space in the cupboard immediately to the left of the of the kitchen sink. To access take out the shelf and then using a small screwdriver insert to the valve and turn to shut off. Kitchen The electrolux reverse action tumble dryer is a condensor model so it traps the water in a plastic tank on the left hand side of the machine. Once this fills up (it wont go on if its full) you need to simply take out and drain water and then re-insert. It is also important to take out any fluff from the filter at the front of machine to ensure it operates correctly. Aeg lavanat prototex washing machine - the simplest program is the 20 minutes fast program followed by a 17 minute spin.Because of its location it is difficult to open the panel to put in the wash liquid so its easiest simply to enter directly in the machine. To start the daewoo microwave simply open the door as this triggers it switching on and select program. Electricity The apartment has 3-phase electricity. The fuse box is located in the hallway to the right hand side of the entrance door. If any part of the electricity cuts first check the lower box to see if a single phase has cut and then switch on again. If it is simply an individual item that has loss of electricity power then check the upper fuse box and see which switch has dropped and switch on again, all are labelled according to function. Miscellaneous Lowering the blinds at night helps reduce street noise and also helps heat insulation. Generally speaking no loud noise is tolerated in Hungary after the cut-off of 9pm Plastic and paper should be separated for recycling. All bins are on the ground floor rear of the building Access Access to the building is using the blue magnetic key device which should be touched or held close to the street buzzer panel. The apartment is located on the third floor. Take the lift to the third floor and on coming out turn right and the entrance door is on the corner. Guests can buzz up from the street typing in “23” and the intercom button automatically opens the front door. Primary access is from Batthory utca but it is also possible to enter the building using the blue access device from Kalman Imre street Close to all the major attractions in Budapest - parliament, St Stephens basilica, Liberty Square the grand buildings of this neighbourhood will remind you of Paris or Vienna at its best. Close to the elegant Liberty and other top restaurants.

It is completely independent and very private, located on the first floor, facing the calm and charming inner garden of a new construction condominium building with floor to ceiling french windows and luxurious indoor and outdoor finishings. A private elevator leads directly into the apartment, where a separate door opens directly into your private suite area. The space features elegant heartwood floors with central heating, a sleek, luxurious and modern bathroom with rain shower and separate bathtub, as well as a fully equipped modern high-end kitchen. The living spaces are elegantly furnished with lots of love to small details. The bedroom features a king size (180x200cm) luxurious and very comfortable boxspring bed, where good night's sleep is guaranteed! All rooms of the suite face calm idyllic gardens, that will make you forget that you're actually staying in the city center. Guests have access to a 49 inch TV with Amazon FireTV Stick and complimentary entertainment: International TV, Netflix & Amazon PrimeVideo. Every guest finds at his arrival a breakfast set containing coffee, tea, Nesquik, jam, honey, Nutella, cornflakes, as well as a fridge filled with fresh milk, juice, butter, cheese and salami. Croissants and mini baguettes are in the freezer and ready to be baked in the oven. You will also find cooking essentials as olive oil, aceto balsamico, salt and pepper. One of us is always available online. In case you need any kind of help, please don't hesitate to let us know and feel free to contact us. We'll be happy to help! Located in the historic city center, this charming neighborhood is walking distance from superb restaurants and shopping as well as iconic locations like the Alexanderplatz, Checkpoint Charlie, and opera houses. U2 subway station is located in front of the building entrance. S-Bahnhof Alexanderplatz is within 2 min walking distance. If you need to do your laundry please let us know one day before your arrival . We'll gladly do the laundry for you, but we need to organize it, as the washing machine is located in our part of the apartment. You'll find a laundry bag in the bedroom's closet. The full service costs 20€ (to be paid cash upon arrival).

Dreamy Loft by the Opera Theater

I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. Giuseppe stayed here and this is what he had to say: "The flat is in a quiet street, off Monti. When you enter, it's all very charming. It's not a regular "B&B" experience, it's the flat of a woman who travels a lot for work. The result is very stylish and warm and full of wonderful details. A decorative spiral staircase leads from the living room to a small roof balcony overlooking the picturesque canal in front of the house. The apartment is provided with good WIFI CONNECTION, AIR CONDITIONING and MOSQUITO SCREENS in any room CASA ZORZI is recommended both for romantic escapes and for family holidays. I use to welcome personally my guests, spending some time on arrival to recommend my favourite places in town....... The apartment is also provided with good reference books useful to plan and enjoy a stay in Venice. The Apartment is located on the quieter side of the truly Venetian Cannaregio District. The house is beside the magnificent Madonna dell' Orto Gothic church, containing cherished treasures including Tintoretto masterpieces. It is 15 minutes away from Rialto bridge. It is very easy and comfortable to reach by public transport either you arrive from Marco Polo airport or from the Train Station, with no bridge to cross with your luggage between the nearest waterbus stop and the apartment. A City stay tax of € 4,00 per day /per person ( € 2,00 for 10/16 children, excluding children up to 10) is due up to max 5 days.

Wander Across Charles Bridge at a Grand, Romantic Apartment

The apartment is situated in an historical building in the first floor. It is in the middle of all the touristic attractions. Therefore, during the season there is an increased number of people walking the street. Also, due to the historic preservation the original windows had to be kept. We renovated them but they are no match to the modern windows with regard to the insulation. In short - for some it might feel noisy - just as in any other city center :-) patio We tried to make the acommodation as private as possible so you don't need to interact with anybody (except picking up the keys at the restaurant). However, feel free to reach out to us if you need help or suggestions. We should be available in Prague most of the days. If you think something is missing or needs improvements, let us know. Thank you! The apartment sits in a historic area of the city just under Prague Castle's gardens and vineyards. The famous swans spot on the river is around the corner, and peaceful parks, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town are a short walk away. You are at one of the best parts of the city. Within a walking distance you have all major tourist attractions. For anything else, tram stop is 50m far (including famous 'tourist' lines 22 and 23), underground station (with direct airport connection) is 100-150m far. Currently, there is a reconstruction going on in the neighboring house - the noisiest part is over, so you can occasionally hear something. If you plan to do the sightseeing, this should not be too much of an issue since they won't work 24/7. Most of the time we don't even realise there is some extra noise apart from the city noises :-)

If you want to go explore some more, minute away from apartment on central town square are tram stops with trams that go to every part of city. Also, taxi stand is few steps from building.

The stay at Laszlos place was amazing! The house is very nicely designed. Our room was cozy and had an awesome view over the garden trough a big glass front. We had our own separate bathroom with shower and bathtub (which you will probably not use - but more to that later). We were welcomed by our exceptionally friendly host Laszlo and immediately felt home. He showed us around the house and explained how everything works. We were allowed to use the spacious living kitchen with everything in it. In the eating area we were presented a lovely breakfast every morning with locally handmade bread and nice spreads and cuts. The garden is exceptionally nice designed and has a wonderful swimming pond (so no bathtub :P) and relaxing area as well as a nice terrace accessible directly from the living room. We didn't use the sauna because it was summer, but that would have been a nice addition for colder days. The location of the house is a little bit outside of the city center of Prague right next to a nature reserve, so you have all the peace to relax here. You are easily in the city center in 15-20 min by public transport or uber. Additionally we were given a lot of tips to check out the area. From the delicious pizza place just up the road (really ask them when you stay there) to a local micro brewery or viewpoints in the area. All in all everything was really delightful and we couldn't image a nicer stay. Can only recommend! Thanks Laszlo

We really enjoyed staying in Fabio E Linda's place. They were very kind and helpful with good local info and tips. They met us from the vaporetto stop and accompanied us to the house, which was much appreciated. The house was nice and had a very large private courtyard / garden which was a great bonus. The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful, even though it is only 15 mins walk to St Mark's Square. We walked or took the vaporetto everywhere and it was all very easy. Had a great time.

Der Kontakt mit Julie und Troels war super. Sie haben immer sofort, freundlich und hilfsbereit geantwortet und uns gute Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen. Die Gegend ist friedlich und ruhig und bietet viel Privatsphäre. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. Nach Kopenhagen kommt man schnell und bequem mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Es halten mehrere Buslinien in der Nähe der Unterkunft, die Anschluss an Metro und Zug bieten. Julies & Troels Haus ist sehr schön. Wir haben uns in den großen, hellen Räumen sehr wohlgefühlt und alle Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses genutzt. Frühstück auf der Terrasse, die letzen Sonnenstrahlen auf dem Balkon und Spieleabend am großen Tisch in der offenen Küche. Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt.

Kaum zu toppen! Das Haus, die Insel und Stockholm waren wunderbar. Die Insel ist der perfekte Rückzugsort nach anstrengendem Sightseeing. Per war ein wirklich guter Gastgeber. Wir sind dankbar für den schönen Aufenthalt. Das Besondere an dem Haus, der Insel und der Fähre war, dass die Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein schien. Das Haus wirkte so charmant und originell wie Haus aus den 1950er Jahren in einem Film und dabei war alles top in Schuss. Absolute Empfehlung.

Budapest is a great city, their apartment is in close proximity to transport links and the neighbourhood has great restaurants and bars only 300 meters away. After a busy day sightseeing the apartment is the ideal place in which to chill.

A wonderful gem in Budapest! The apartment is gorgeous and well stocked with everything we needed. Tibor’s books of recommended restaurants was so helpful and informative. Saved me asking him a lot of questions 😉. We walked everywhere as it’s a perfect location for walks to museums, baths, important sights, cafes and restaurants, as well as lots of shopping options a few minutes in either direction. Four days wasn’t enough time to explore everything but we saw a lot. Thanks for a perfect experience in Budapest!

We loved every aspect of Ginevra's place. High ceilings, spotless, functional, classic style, great balcony, breezy, great location... I could go on. If we come back to Rome, we'd love to stay there again.
