I have been to Edinburgh a few times and my daughter wanted to go back for her high school graduation present, so I really wanted to make this trip special. We found Eliana's place and my daughter immediately said that was the one, so we booked it. This apartment is beautiful and looks even better in person. It's super charming and very roomy, which is rare in Edinburgh. The location is perfect, just steps away from so many places for coffee and food, with a Boots just up the road a few steps as well. We went in the middle of the tourist season, so there was some noise at night, but nothing out of the ordinary or unexpected for being so close to everything. Eliana was a fantastic host. She was super communicative and very proactive in reaching out to make sure our check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, everything helped me give my daughter the special trip that I was hoping for and she has requested that we stay here again the next time we visit. Thank you again, Eliana!

Wonderful short stay in Elie House. The apartment is beautifully appointed, very clean and cosy. Elaine went to great lengths to ensure our stay was super easy and the welcome pack complete with bottle of Rose was very much appreciated. Elie House is away from the hustle and bustle of the village so if you’re looking for some peace and tranquility, the location is ideal. We will definitely return.

This is a little gem, literally right on the beach front. The apartment has everything you will need to enjoy a stay in Anstruther, and service from the very professional hosts was second to none. You could throw a stone to the Wee Chippy and Eastern Touch restaurants they're also so close, and I'd highly recommend both. Would definitely stay again!

We cannot say enough good things about how Jane took care of us. We were a last-minute reservation for her and she jumped through a few hoops in order to make this work. We had had another Airbnb reservation with a different individual and they dropped the ball, so we had no place to stay all of a sudden. Jane really came through for us and we loved her place!

A 'home from home' experience in every way. Its the little things that make the world of difference... choccy biccies to have with your coffee or tea & the complimentary toiletries were much appreciated.. they've thought of everything! The apartment is situated in a lovely quiet area yet only a few minutes walk from the centre of "The Ferry" & the beach. This will be my "go to" place whenever I'm back visiting the family... 100%. Having lived in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh previously, Alex's home was the absolute perfect place to stay to reconnect with the area. It's in a superb location and easily walkable to New Town and Old Town. Buses are also right outside the door if you aren't up to a walk, and they come by frequently. The home was picture perfect and the garden's out front provide such a welcome pop of color and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the day. I highly recommend Alex's place to anyone considering a stay in Edinburgh.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our trip to Edinburgh with my parents. The location was excellent—central, safe, and within easy reach of key attractions, public transport, and some great cafes. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made check-in and any small questions really easy to handle. It was a comfortable space for all of us, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings at night. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely recommend it to others traveling with family!

Excellent location with beautiful views of the beach from the Living room and Kitchen. It is location within a 5 minute walk to provision stores and restaurants. Also, for those who love walks along the beach , this is ideal

This was a lovely stay. Our host was thoughtful in setting up the space and added little things that made our trip easy like laundry soap, fresh ground coffee, large towels set out in each guest room. It was definitely luxury and we felt very welcome in her home. Just far enough away to be quiet and spacious while still making the city accessible we walked everywhere except dinner out one evening.

If I could, I would leave a 10-stars review ! Don’t look further. The description and photos are exactly as expected. Very clean and equipped with high quality amenities. The location could not be better. Very central and location is in a quiet street. The host guide prepared by Peter was very helplul and all communications very easy and smooth. I would highly recommend Peter’s place and if we come back, we would stay here again ! Just be aware that if you arrive before check-in time in a busy period, you might not be able to leave your luggage in the apartment before the time of check-in. Few options are offered including Stasher’s location service a bit further from town. Thanks Peter ! We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay to visit your beautiful city and play golf.

Our group had a lovely stay at Ali's apartment! It was cute and well-equipped with everything we needed, and located in a private, peaceful setting. The town was great to walk around with many shops and restaurants nearby, and the location is a great jumping-off point to explore surrounding areas. Ali was a great host, very helpful! We hope to be back and highly recommend!

The place is walkable distance to great bars and the botanical garden. Close to the bus stop as well that takes you to the royal mile in 15mins. The place has all the listed amenities. You can hear the noise in the hallway and front door banging. I would've liked an airtight door to create some soundproofing. The upstairs neighbor noise wasn't a big problem for me. The place was clean and kitchen was fully stocked!

Hidden gem. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated in the middle of the park (yet still in town). Lovely home, spacious. Host is super responsive to questions. Easy walk to a pub for some great food and drinks.

This was my favourite stay on Airbnb so far. Mark was an incredible host, with great communication, clear instructions and generosity with everything (we made full use of the Nespresso machine 😂). The flat itself was beautiful, very nicely decorated. you can tell just from looking at it that a lot of thought and effort went into it, has a lot of personality, and quite clear that mark uses it himself as well. would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind the slightly higher price and a few flights of stairs :)

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Was a good place and close to restaurants and the station. Had come for a conference and was very easy to commute to the international centre. Very reasonable prices as well! We had a good time. Thank you

We had a brilliant weekend in this lovely accommodation with great facilities. As a family group, including 3 teenagers and a disabled grandad, the accommodation was ideal with a lovely large open planned kitchen/dining/living area, four big ensuite bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and a separate bathroom. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the large fridge freezer would easily have coped with supplies for a longer stay. The upstairs bedrooms had a luxurious feeling to them. The beds were all very comfortable and the ensuites were well fitted out with good walk in shower cubicles. The downstairs bedroom was smaller but still a good size. The shower had a high threshold for anyone with mobility problems but non- slip bath mats and suction handrails were supplied as soon as we mentioned disability. A shower stool would have been a welcome addition. There was plenty to occupy us without leaving the complex. We enjoyed making use of the sports facilities and the walks.
