Outstanding, idyllic getaway. A perfect Airbnb, with the surprising bonus of Willie the Kune Kune pig to greet me on arrival! Accommodation exactly as described, blissfully peaceful, amazing views and fantastic support from Fiona & Rich. I’ll be back.

Gorgeous country apartment w/ hot tub & log burner

ChristinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay lived up to high expectations. Ainslie went over and above with decorations for my boyfriend’s birthday; welcome notes; homemade cake; fizz and ice in the fridge. She was warm and welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed. So grateful for such a lovely stay in a beautiful area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ainslie 🥰🤩🥳

Luxury one-bedroom cottage ŵ outdoor bath & views

PhilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cottage was gorgeously idyllic and private. The cottage itself was super well appointed and comfortable. The exterior was landscaped beautifully and the views were breathtaking. We got engaged during our visit because my fiancé was moved to propose due to the perfect setting. We will return if we are back in the area.

Pretty 3 bedroom cottage set in lovely gardens

AngelaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Lovely property with everything you need for a stay. The grounds are lovely. The location is good as a hub and plenty of villages to visit and St Andrews is very close. Tara was quick to respond to any queries. I travelled with 2 teenagers and they were happy with WiFi speed. Also my dog loved the gardens. My husband brought back fish and chips from anstruther for dinner in less than 10 minutes. I would return to this accommodation.

Coastal cottage with stunning view.

AliciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay with my family at this historic cottage. Especially loved the easy access to the Fife Coastal Path that we walked daily into Burntisland or Aberdour. Excellent hosts as well. Thank you for your hospitality, we would highly recommend this property!

Grieves Cottage.

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage, good quality furniture and furnishings, kitchen fully fitted with all you could want. Two showers, two toilets and a bath. Everything about the cottage was excellent and a good sized garden. The cottage is situated within easy access to the coast. There are some good tea rooms in the area which serve good food [Merryhatton, Archerfield & Smeaton]. Herd cafe at Balgone is worth a visit. Adjacent to Herd cafe is a field with a number of Highland Coos, beautiful animals. North Berwick is more village like than a town, with many shops and cafes and a lovely dog friendly beach. I was so happy to find Grieves Cottage on Airbnb and would definitely recommend.

Beautifully Renovated (Self-Contained) Cottage

WendyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great little place to stay. Very clean and location was fabulous for the different golf courses in the area. Beds were comfortable and clean and we slept great. The bedrooms have low slanted ceilings and would be difficult if you are very tall. Bathroom was large and shower was excellent with good water pressure and lots of hot water. Plenty of clean towels. The bathroom is downstairs, away from the bedrooms, so consider that if you have to use it frequently in the middle of the night. Communication with the host was very good.

Pondfield Cottage, Gifford

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We came to Edinburgh for the marathon and stayed at Gregor’s lovely Airbnb– about 40 minutes from the city centre. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after the race. The host was fantastic, with great communication and clear directions that made everything seamless. The home itself was spotless, well-equipped, and much more spacious than the pictures suggest. The garden was a real highlight, beautifully kept with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and our pooches loved it! A peaceful, comfortable retreat that truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

A great thank you to Charles and Verity. They made our welcome and overall stay a great pleasure. Like Scott’s they are so easy going and friendly people, no wonder the Australians feel at home in Scotland. This property is at the top of our best of list. Thanks again

Tranquil cottage with spectacular sea views

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. The garden is a gorgeous, enclosed haven (photos do not do this space justice at all) with ample room and the bench at the front is a gorgeous touch for a morning coffee. Very easy driving to Dunbar and so many stunning walks in close proximity. The cottage has been lovingly restored and is a beautiful home, clean and modern, with a rustic feel, although without feeling in any way cluttered. Kitchen is very well equipped and perfect for self catering.

Abbeymill Farm Cottage

ClareRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our third stay at Abbeymill cottage and our favourite in the area (we visit often as we have family nearby). The moment you step inside the cosy and warm living room you feel at home and the complimentary biscuits, tea and milk are very welcome after a long drive. Lucy and Adam are on hand to answer any questions but it is very peaceful and private with a small enclosed flower garden partially laid to lawn. Highly recommend!

The Boat Shore Cottage is a gem of a place! Fabulous position right on the shore. Compact, clean and cosy. Hannah is the perfect host, friendly and very kind, who went above and beyond for us, making us feel so welcome. Great location with easy access by train/bus to Edinburgh city centre yet feels a place apart, a friendly and quiet family seaside haven. Perfect! Thanks so much Hannah! We would love to come back and next time we will definitely book direct!

Traditional 2 bedroom cottage, sea view & parking

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A gem of a place to say - incredibly well equipped and convenient. Our first time staying in Dunbar so recommendations for walks and restaurants were very much appreciated. All travel is easily undertaken on trains, buses and on foot so a pleasure not to have to bring the car. The Wee House provided everything we needed and made our short break the best in a very long time.
