Hyde Park Apartment with Period Detail

Watch the world go by over breakfast from the bay window of this warm, inviting flat. Just a stroll across Hyde Park from the V&A and other museums, the home combines modern design, warm wood accents, and original architectural details. This beautiful apartment is a perfect base for anyone here on business or pleasure for 2 nights or a lot longer . It is perfect for exploring the city along with sight seeing . Oxford street is 15/20mins walk . Or there is the tube which is one stop away .With Hyde park at the end of the road 5 mins away . .Kensington palace royal Albert hall and the museums are all close by .being the other side of the park ,Notting-hill with portobello is not to be Missed on Saturdays . In the local area you will find everything you will need for a great stay in London pubs , gastro pubs cafes restaurants and local food stores all within a stones throw . There are a Nu of buses at the end of the road . You are within walking distance of the west end with everything you could possibly require during your stay . Paddington is only 5 mins away with the Heathrow express just taking 15mins . You are so central to this AMZ city come and enjoy it the way I myself do . This apartment will fit 4 people it has 2 double beds . There is a nespresso machine for all those that enjoy a good coffee in the mornings . The apartment is in a Stucco building as per photo and is on the first floor ,it is in a conservation area and cannot be pulled down or altered in any way it is true london for those that wish to sample it and go back in time . The back bedroom has french doors which leads to a small balcony . The apartment is light and airy there are no high rise buildings around it ,your outlook would be Stucco houses only as per photo shows . There is constant hot water for you and the apartment will be very warm and cosy for you in these coming winter months You also have winterwonderland which starts in november in hyde park for those that are here it is a fab night out . You are in a very safe area , no back streets or dark roads . I live just 10 mins away and after 40 years i still love it . Susie . The apartment is conveniently located near many of London's major museums, and there are two tube stations at the end of the road. For a morning jog, the Serpentine is a must, or just walk for a coffee and breakfast with a view of the lake. Lancaster Gate tube is at the end of the road and Paddington station is within 5 min walk. Also there are many bus stops at the end of the road . Paddington express is 20 mins from Heathrow . You are in central London walking is the best way to get around .I will advise you on the best way to get to the places of interest that you want to go on your arrival to make your trip is as easy as possible for you . We have 2 tube stations nearby . There is also a boris bike station at the end of the road cross over the road and you are in Hyde park to ride your bikes right around Hyde park and Kensington park and feel safe from traffic they have cycling lanes in the Park . There are 2 coffee bars / restaurants in hyde park over looking the serpentine which is a must , which is all within walking distance . You also have kensington palace which is adjoining hyde park . Selfridges is 15/20 mins walk for those that love a good shop being in the famous oxford street adjoining bond street and regent street ,and of course piccadillay .Straight across the park is harrods in Knightsbridge .along with there competition Harvey Nichols . Also there is the V/A. And the National museum . Getting around is easy as the tube is at the end of the road and has the central and district line . But everywhere is within easy reach . my advice is put on your trainers or some old comfy shoes and stroll around and take it all in ,why be stuck in the tube when its all near by . . There is also a Waitrose supermarket which is 5 mins away Waitrose is a higher end supermarket and this one is there Flagship store with lots of special 's . Across the park you will find the V&A / science /natural history museums and the royal Albert hall . Harrods, Sloane street and Harvey Nichols and Kensington place . Portobello market in Notting Hill Gate is open on Saturdays which is a must see. Selfridges in the famous oxford street is within 20 minute away or one stop away by tube .which would be about 5/10 mins . if your feet are tired you can easily pop back to the apartment for a rest before venturing out again , bearing in mind selfridges closes at 10 pm , sight see during the day then shop during the evening why not . The serpentine in Hyde park is a must to enjoy breakfast , lunch , dinner , or just a coffee to relax unwind and watch the wild life around you . If you are an early bird you will often see the guards horses being exercised A laundry service can be provided for all bed linen for guest that are staying for longer periods at extra rates .also a cleaning service can be provided for longer stays at an extra cost . DLR to Canary wharf in 8 mins and Westfield Stratford (Olympic Park) 20 mins DLR There is a thames clipper jetty located next to the cutty sark, this river service into the heart of the city provides an interesting alternative to the conventional rail transport. Contact for other price offers and discounts. Will consider as pet friendly The flat is fully stocked with the essentials for your stay so that you can have a home away from home. There are two balconies for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. Guests will have the entire flat I am available for guest queries and usually send a text the day after checkin just to say Hi and ensure guests have settled in. Davey or Richard will always meet you at the property for check in and run through and questions that you have. Greenwich has a great village feel with cool restaurants, cafes, and Greenwich Market, as well as Greenwich Observatory. The flat is approximately five miles from Central London (just a short train, ferry, or DLR ride away). Greenwich Mainline and DLR (URL HIDDEN) 8 mins to London Bridge 13-15 minutes Waterloo East 18-20 Minutes Charing Cross Station (Trafalgar Sq) There is also a Water Ferry directly from Greenwich to the O2 or The Centre. Beautiful house, with loads of personality, It would be perfect for a family or a group of friends visiting London. The entire house has been recently renovated. Open Plan Living Very large open plan kitchen / dining area / lounge (family room) connected to 1st and 2nd reception. Sonos Sound System with speakers in kitchen / family room / reception room. Family room It has a large sofa and a vintage armchair. Kitchen Large kitchen with a long skylight. Kitchen has all the necessary appliances one would need including brand new appliances: Dishwasher, Oven, Extractor hood, fridge/freezer. Brand new plates, cups, wine and champagne glasses. Seating area has an antique pine dining table and 6 chairs. Utlity Room Connected to the kitchen by sliding door there is a small utility room with a wash-machine & drier, and space to dry clothes. Garden Huge bespoke bi-folding doors leading to Private Terrace & garden, with a door that opens straight to Mile End Park! Webber gas barbecue available for use. WC WC near Kitchen with a sink 1st Reception Room Cozy room with triple bay windows & high ceiling, large 3 seat sofa, armchair and a working stove (fire place) to add charm, another option for warming you up in this winter. 2nd Reception Room (formal dining) Amazing room with high ceiling, with a vintage 16 bulbs chandelier that adds personality to the space. The home is located on a quiet street right next to a nice park for a refreshing morning walk or winding down in the evening. There are a lot of local shops, restaurants, and takeaways just a short walk away. The home is just a 3 minutes walk to Mile End station (central line, district line and hammersmith & city line) - you will never have a problem getting around London. You can be in central London in only 15 min!

I could be easily be available over the phone in case you need me to be with you :) The home is close to various cafes, eateries, supermarkets, a gym, cinema, and shopping options. There is also easy access to public transportation, offering a 15 minute ride into downtown. The flat is in London’s financial district- Tower Hamlets, zone 2. 6 miles away from the parliament- a total 36 mins from door step to parlament, if you take public transport. Tower of London is 3.4 miles away, 30 mins if taken public transport. Langdon Park DLR station is 4 mins walk away please confirm checking time before hand. TV has netflix.

A charming, exquisite place to stay with this cozy, comfortable flat (free static flat with Wi-Fi) with greenery balcony, 3M windows and settings in the apartment. Flat location excellent for after concert at the O2, saves at least an hour as you are queuing to go east whilst 80% are going west on Jubilee Line. Nearest station is Canning Town-Jubilee Line Tube and Docklands Light Railway Station literally a 3-5 minutes’ walk away. London City Airport-3 stops/about 6 minutes away from the DLR.

Overall Jonathan's flat in Shoreditch was quite nice. Close to public transportation, great restaurants, and stores for groceries. Jonathan was very accommodating and let us check in a bit early, since they had finished cleaning the flat early. We had a few issues pop up, such as missing towels and a clogged shower drain, but he was always very quick to respond via the Airbnb app and all issues were promptly addressed. We loved that it was the top unit; very private and quiet, aside from the passing trains below, which we could barely hear at night. The unit is very spacious and modern, which was perfect for our group of 4. Great water pressure, spacious bathrooms, and the A/C worked quite well. We did discover water damage on a number of walls which Jonathan was aware of from a prior water leak, but hadn't mentioned to us beforehand. Suggestions: Some walls have scuff marks, so a fresh coat of paint would help. Could use a more comfortable couch & dining room chairs.

Excellent experience my sister and I stayed for 2 weeks. Deptford Bridge DLR is right there and New Cross station just a short 12 minute walk away; from there you can be at London Bridge station in 4-5 minutes 1st stop. So convenient for travel all over London and the UK. Flat is as discribed. Would definitely return. Very responsive hosts.

The apartment was easy to find, walkable to Waterloo, Southwark and Borough stations! 20 mins walk away to the Southbank center and 15mins to Borough market. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. The only complaints were that the bed was very springy and hard and the pillows were really flat. Plus, the apartment in the living room gets really hot in the summer. Other than that, everything worked and we had a pretty comfortable stay.

Excellent stay, great location if you’re traveling a great deal on the tube and/or leaving on a train from either Euston or St. Pancras. Nearby groceries at Tesco make it easy to pick up a bite on your way in or out. If you arrive before check-in, use a service such as LuggageHero to park your bags nearby while waiting for check-in. Manager is easiest to communicate with if you set up an account on their page. Be prepared for the stairs. If you have heavy luggage and cannot carry your bags very far, or if you have issues with stairs, this is a third floor flat and the stairs are steeper than they may be in your home country. Once you are there, the property is well appointed and a real home away from home at the end of the day. Meticulously clean, modern, and great entertainment options. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast when the weather is good is a real treat. Would totally stay again if given the chance.

Excellent apartment with a very nice view, very well located for activities in O2 (within 10 minutes walking distance) in a safe and nice neighbourhood. We had a small issue during check-in because the code for getting the keys was not correct, but the support team solved it within a few minutes. Only one key is provided for access to the building and apartment, so if several people share the apartment you will need to coordinate to access it.

6 minutes walk to underground station. Peaceful and quiet surroundings with friendly neighbors. Only problem is to open the second front door. There’s two doors at the front, the first door cannot be locked, looks like it’s a wrong key. The second door is hard to open, it takes a huge pressure on the key to turn it open anti clockwise, locking is OK.

Great place for a get together with friends or even for family holiday. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful too. Quiet area and very private. Being close to Bluewater shopping centre was great too. The host was very friendly and responsive. Everything was as described. Worth a visit. Will definitely get in touch for future get togethers with mates. Relatively close to central London if you drive and skip the rush hours. Great experience overall.

Jayme was very responsive and his flat was delightful. Lots of natural light, very warm regardless of the temperature outside. The only issues we had during our 3 week stay is that there was not sufficient space for our stuff . Probably ok for a few days but longer than that for people it was an issue. Thanks Jayme June

Rod was a great host. Always responsive and genuinely concerned about your stay. regularly checking in to see if I required anything and always flexible. The flat is gorgeous and the view from the 10th floor balcony is stunning. East Village is a great neighborhood with plenty of amenities and Westfield on the doorstep. I would definitely stay here again - Rod is probably the best host I have experienced. We have since become friends!
