Holiday rentals with a fire pit in East Frisian Islands

Very nice Airbnb, on the edge of the forest, where you have beautiful nature. All amenities are within walking/cycling. The cottage was great, all instructions were clearly described by the host!

This was an absolut great place for four persons to stay! Clean, very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, nice and thoughtfully decorated. We felt at home. The apartment is located some ten steps from the main streets , and for being such a small town there were an extensive selection of nice restaurants and shops. We made excursions several days, and it is much to see and do in the surroindings of Esens. We didn't meet Imke in person, but had contact through texts messages and telephone. Imke was caring and wanted to know that we were having a good time. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed it very much overall. The surroundings are very quiet and you can relax perfectly. It takes some time for the hot tub to be really hot, but it's worth the wait. 😊 Nothing was missing in the apartment. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the bed as it was pretty saggy. Of course, it is still convenient for a weekend. Really recommend!!!

The stay with Ingrid and Jürgen was all around successful :) The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description – very nice, quiet and surrounded by nature. It is furnished with great attention to detail, which immediately conveys a feeling of home. Communication was also always warm and helpful. If you are looking for a break and want to enjoy peace and quiet, I can definitely recommend this accommodation!!

The house is stunning, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are of a high standard. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real pleasure for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any questions, help, and recommendations at an exceptional level.

Pia is a very pleasant, friendly and reserved hostess. We were there for three nights as a patchwork family (9 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 dog) who had come together for a few days from Berlin, Hamburg and the greater Aachen area. We had to rearrange a little so that we had a place to sleep for everyone and yet everyone could have breakfast and eat together, which is easily possible in the old school on the 1st floor. Since we had rented all the living areas, there was a retreat for almost everyone. The environment is very quiet and rural, but in our case, that was also intentional. A few kilometers away in Schweiburg there is a very good bakery as well as a small supermarket. One morning, we did a guided mudflat hike with the whole family, which was fun for everyone and also educational. So all in all, a nice get-together!

Beautiful house with all comforts on a quiet street with water in front of the door. The area is beautiful for cycling and the city is close by.

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

Beautifully decorated and light-flooded apartment with a fantastic spacious garden. There is everything you need for everyday life. High-quality amenities; everything still new and very well maintained. Here you just have to arrive, put your feet up and enjoy peace & quiet. We enjoyed the two weeks with Cathrin & Uwe very much. Wonderful warm hosts - we'd come back anytime!

The accommodation is ideal for families with 2 children. Our children (3 and 5 years old) had a lot of fun with the child-sized stuffed animal ponies, the Bobby Car and the board games and books. The size of the accommodation is also wonderful for a family with 2 children. A car is absolutely necessary, but from the accommodation you can explore the area very well, in Werdum (5 min from the apartment) there is a small pet park and also the beach resorts are not far away. Jasmin is a very nice and accommodating hostess.

I spent three days'vacation at the Weserdeich ‘with my dog. Arrived, immediately felt comfortable. Peter and Claudia are very welcoming and proactive. If someone is looking for a place to breathe, the dyke and the directly adjacent nature reserve absolutely invites you – if it works out in terms of schedule, I'd love to come back. Annette is a very warm, helpful and communicative host. A "feeling of being at home" set in right at the welcome...The garden is wildly romantic and Annette's great passion, thus also a real heart - an oasis to relax and feel good. The location is quiet and a free parking space is located directly on the street. Very good equipment in the kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and more... everything available. The mattresses offer high sleeping comfort and good-feeling bed linen. Highly recommended. I'd love to come back.

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

We had a nice short stay in Tina's apartment. The bedroom and living room have a beautiful view of the green, quiet garden. Around the corner there are shops and nice cafes, in addition, the tram stops right in front of the door and you can quickly get anywhere.

The accommodation was lovingly furnished, the whirlpool and sauna were clean, well-maintained and the whirlpool was already preheated upon arrival. Roger was totally nice, attentive and not intrusive. A good place to switch off from everyday life and spend a few days right by the lake.

We stayed in a lovely old caravan from 1949 with special carvings and engraved windows. There was a good wood-burning stove and ample wood to burn. When the sun was shining, the car automatically got nice and warm. We enjoyed the garden, the birds and the natural surroundings. Aagje was a very friendly host.

We enjoyed Kirsten's cottage. We had booked the cottage for our Honeymoon, and it really is a romantic place. It is wonderfully quiet, you can enjoy the birds and sounds of the forest. The house has all the amenities and nicely decorated. The conservatory was very cozy, with the fireplace, really a nice place. We made good use of the spa: sauna, outdoor shower and hot tub. Dobbering and drinks in the hot tub was a favorite. And the bed slept really wonderfully, how nice that is! Norg is in a beautiful area. Easily accessible with the bikes you can use at the cottage. The contact with Kirsten went very well, she responds immediately when you have a question. She had arranged a sweet welcome package for us. We enjoyed it and would love to come back.

The place was as described on the booking page. It is very, very clean. The sanitary areas and laundry room are cleaned every day. The overnight pods were also very clean. If you had any questions, you could ask both contact persons and they were answered immediately. In general, the booking and organization is optimal. The other visitors who were there were also very nice and it was very familiar and you just felt very comfortable. It is also very animal-friendly. Simply beautiful !!! Thank you for the time we will be back !

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay in the camping barrel! The accommodation is idyllically located in nature. Perfect for switching off and relaxing. Our child was thrilled with the small fireplace and the lovingly designed play area with swing and sandbox. The outdoor kitchen, which was equipped with everything necessary and made the camping feeling perfect, was particularly practical. The chickens on the property were a real highlight for our child. The camping barrel was clean, cozy and ideal place for two adults and a child. Everything was decorated with a lot of love for detail. The hosts were very nice, warm and always helpful. We felt completely comfortable. We will be happy to come back!
