Amazing place to stay for the legs Groningen - Zuidlaren and/or Zuidlaren - Rolde when hiking the Pieterpad (or just in general if you want to have an amazing tranquil stay in a beautiful garden oasis. The house has all the amenities one could wish for and an amazing bed to top it all of meaning you’ll be completely rejuvenated for the next leg of Pieterpad.

Lydia and her husband are extremely accommodating and very nice. If you like to stay somewhere a little simpler and have your own little terrain away from the hustle and bustle, this is a wonderful address! In addition, the accommodation (converted construction trailer) is already something special. Groningen itself has everything to offer and is always worth a visit. We will always be happy to ask if the accommodation is available.

Very nice experience to stay a few nights in the sod hut. Super quiet area in the middle of the countryside, definitely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and quiet location. The hostess and host were very friendly. The cottage was cozy and very clean upon arrival so this was very pleasant. The free-range chickens and the friendly horses were also very nice. Certainly subject to repetition!

I stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a nice weekend escape in the nature: best choice we could make! The hosts are super friendly and made us feel at home since the very first moment. The little house has everything you need, and more, to make it a very special place: the fireplace and the cd player with audio system were the highlights! We also enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommended!!

We had a very nice stay! The tiny is equipped with all comforts. It was super convenient to be able to borrow the bikes and we were very happy with the cats that came to cuddle every now and then. Jacqueline is a very nice host who has designed the tiny with love, and you feel that when you are there. We recommend this stay!

Wonderful quiet stay. Good to relax and unwind!

Although my fiancée and I set the record for the longest stay in the Kuhlen Auszeit with 11 nights, we extended it by another 5 nights. Anyone who comes here quickly notices how much care and attention to detail is put into it. A special plus: Each guest party has its own bathroom and a spacious fridge. There is a loving atmosphere throughout the premises that makes it impossible to sleep badly or not feel immediately comfortable – whether you're a couple, family or bikepacker. But let's be honest: With hosts named Joseph and Mary, we should have known that we would sleep here like the Christ child himself! And indeed, the tranquility and security that this place exudes is almost magical – like the stable in Bethlehem. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Kuhle Auszeit and will certainly be back. Thank you, Josef and Maria, for this unforgettable stay!

A very peaceful little hut in a small forest. And a really cozy porch! It's not luxurious but there's everything you need to relax and calm down. There are some nice lakes and a beautiful forest close by to take walks or a swim

We had wonderful days there, and we were able to enjoy this little break as a family. Sigrun and her husband warmly welcomed us. I would book there again immediately and can highly recommend it.

Niels and Ramona were very warm. The Tiny House is furnished with great attention to detail. The beautiful garden with sauna and whirlpool also invites you to linger. The stay is only recommended!!

The stay with Ingrid and Jürgen was all around successful :) The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description – very nice, quiet and surrounded by nature. It is furnished with great attention to detail, which immediately conveys a feeling of home. Communication was also always warm and helpful. If you are looking for a break and want to enjoy peace and quiet, I can definitely recommend this accommodation!!

We had a wonderful stay on the houseboat! The furnishings and equipment were very tasteful and well thought out. Everything was super clean and well maintained, which immediately gave us a good feeling. The early check-in was possible without any problems - a great extra! The location by the lake is nice and quiet, but the water was very weedy at the time of our stay, which made it a little less inviting for swimming. But there were two SUPs and a canoe for free use.

We had a great stay in the tiny house. With a 30-minute drive, the accommodation can also be reached from Groningen by bus. Perfect for a weekend to get out and relax at the campsite. It's especially great that the tiny house is equipped with everything and even bicycles are available. Highly recommended!

Overall we were well satisfied, the place was easy to find and everything you needed was there. The people at the reception and also the contact via Airbnb were quick, easy and friendly. We only thought from the photos that the place would be a little bigger. But overall it was a lovely cottage. We were there in December, so it took a little longer for the place to heat up as the heaters were off upon our arrival. But we had a great time overall and the short distance to Groningen is great!

What a gem, nice and quiet in nature !! Outdoor dining and cooking overlooking meadows. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for people who love the outdoors.

Johanna was very responsive and offered to pick my partner and I up from the nearby town. On the day of our checkout she drove us to the nearby village for easier access to public transport, very kind and friendly woman!

It is clean, nice terrace, in 500 meters by the water, camping is well equipped, friendly staff. We had a lovely few days. It was clean, beautiful large terrace, 500 meters from the small lake, camping with lots of sports and children's activities, friendly staff. We had a wonderful few days.

We had a wonderful stay in the cozy Jagershuys. The hosts are warm people who are there for you if necessary, but especially do not do that if it is not necessary and therefore leave you alone. Everything was available and everything was whole and clean. In short, enjoyed! We came for the blues festival nearby and that was fine to cycle within an hour. We were 'warned' in advance about the enthusiastic dog present, but we saw it twice and it was sooo sweet...could have come by a bit more :-). Hope to see you again!

Very lovely place to stay and Miran is very friendly. The trailer is small and sufficient and has everything you need！ we had dinner outside, brunches and evening chatting/drinking on the couch. You will need a car to explore around. Otherwise it's not very convenient

We enjoyed the time very much. Melissa gave us a friendly welcome. Explained and showed us everything. It was lovingly and cleanly furnished. We were able to relax very well for the four days. Will definitely visit again.
