Amazing spacious house with comfortable beds and sofas. Lots to do around the house and a lovely host that made for a very smooth trip. Was the perfect weekend away

We had a wonderful stay here in Shaldon. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was a great location within walking distance of the village, beach and ferry to Teignmouth. The village itself is beautiful and we loved discovering Ness Cove beach and crabbing in Teignmouth. The beds were super comfy and Carlisle was really understanding and flexible with dates following my daughter's hospital stay which caused a lot of stress before we came. We will definitely recommend and visit again as a great base for a lovely break in the area.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. Rich & Julie-Ann were both fantastic hosts & always really helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean & we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend & we will be back again in the future!

We booked a long weekend at Sunflowers for 10 of us. We were looking for somewhere comfy and well appointed but quiet and peaceful. This was the perfect location. Beautiful tidal estuary views but blissfully peaceful. Bird life was amazing. The accommodation was very well equipped in all areas - all the bedrooms of a high hotel standard. Each room had its own theme which made all of us smile. We all felt very at home and relaxed. You don’t have far to travel to get to the coast or beautiful towns and villages. We were recommended to use the local pub for Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed! Would highly recommend using Seaflowers to all our friends and family. Thank you Suzy for being such an amazing host.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt very welcoming. Richard was extremely nice and approachable—he greeted us warmly on arrival and made us feel right at home. He even offered us a late checkout, which we didn’t end up needing but truly appreciated the gesture. He was available if we needed anything, but also gave us our space. The house itself is lovely, with a beautiful garden where we enjoyed using the BBQ. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay again!

We had a great stay in the cottage: Calm and peaceful but with all amenities, and the jacuzzi is great after a day of hiking! Matt was super responsive and made our stay easy. We highly recommend to stay here for your stay in Devon!

Great place to get away; all as described. Lovely peaceful rural location.

The property was as described, in great condition, very clean and full of useful stuff. Has amazing views from the top bedroom. The walk to town was not as bad as expected and parking wasn’t a problem for our 3 cars. Heidi was very attentive host, responding to our messages very quickly and even got a replacement remote control for the TV within 24 hours. Great stay

Very spacious and comfortable home as described in listing. Suited us traveling with my parents, husband, 2 small children and baby. Easy to find and easily parked 2 large cars on the driveway. Although fairly busy around you couldn’t hear noise once inside. The house was warm when we got there, there are thick walls which I’m sure keeps it cosy in the winter (along with a log burner). I messaged Ella and she replied quickly explaining how to turn the heating off and we opened the windows to cool it down. Everything you could need for a holiday in terms of kitchen equipment was available. Good size bathrooms mix one with a bath and the other with a shower. We didn’t have any pets with us but there was a tray with dog treats, a ball and a few other bits which I thought was nice. There was also a separate games room/ bar which we didn’t use but would be good if traveling with older children. We only stayed a couple of nights but could easily stay for a longer period.

I am a huge fan of House of Hackney, so a stay at the Castle of Trematon has been on my wishlist for years. As soon as we arrived at the Castle Lodge, it felt as if we had left the outside world behind and stepped through a magic mirror into a wonderland where time stands still. The gardens are a feast for the senses with endless paths of wild garlic and bluebells. I saw buzzards flying overhead and bats vibing in the Tower on the first afternoon! If you love exquisite interior design and being immersed in nature, then you will truly love it here. Thank you Javvy and Frie for being the perfect hosts. I never wanted to leave and have to return one day just to ensure it wasn’t all a dream!

We had 4 fantastic days staying at Kaz’s perfectly situated place in the beautiful Noss Mayo. There was something for the whole family from grandparents to small kids. Kaz was so helpful and went out of her way to make it special with helpful advise, flexibility and not to mention the yummy doughnuts on arrival, which were a lovely treat.

We had an amazing few days in Plymouth staying at David’s place. The cottage was spotless and very cosy, with a great location. The views were stunning and we would definitely book again. David was a great host, very responsive, friendly and helpful ;)

We loved staying at Steve’s place! The cottage is exactly how it looks in photos. Clean, well-equipped, in a great location near to a fantastic cafe with soft play for kids. Large garden, close to the beach… everything you could ask for! Steve is very responsive and helpful. Thank you!

We had a great weekend away at Serina's cottage. Surrounded by quiet nature and plenty of amazing places to visit nearby. We will definitely be back.

Our 2 night stay in Katy’s property was wonderful and we wished we could have stayed longer! It is extremely well equipped with good quality furniture, fittings, linens etc, Katy has thought of everything we could need and more. The property is in a perfect position to easily explore the canal, basin, aqueduct etc. There are also bus stops nearby so we could leave our car behind when visiting Bath. We would highly recommend Katy’s place!
