Holiday home rentals in East Attica Regional Unit

We came last year, This time we came back with a couple friends to introduce them to this beautiful island. We were like last time hosted very well by Nikos and his family, they are very responsive if needed and very kind and helpful, they have the restaurant overlooking the beach right next door, the dishes are very simple but very good. What we like is that there are almost no tourists, it's quite wild, it's not complicated to find a deserted beach, you don't have to be afraid to take dirt and pebble paths, it goes up and down, a 4x4 car is recommended (which we rented from Leon Car in Kea). The weather was perfect, only sun with a hot sea. Among other things, we visited the ruins of Carthaea (5 km round trip on foot only) stone slab path in stairs, the ascent is quite physical but it is very beautiful. We even went diving just 2km from the house (hotel beach next door). Louilis is a car-free village, which comes to life from 6 p.m. (opening of shops and restaurants), with stairs, you go up, you go down, it's sporty, beautiful. Total rest in Elly's house, no noise, just that of the waves with 180° views of the sea and the horizon, it feels like you are alone in the world. The house has a fisherman's house atmosphere, it is not the luxury of a palace but it is very authentic, very simple, just functional. The location of the accommodation is very nice as you have the beach almost at your doorstep (we were there in high season, which is why the beaches were well attended but you can always find a nice place). We were allowed to use beach chairs and beach towels from the property The accommodation is small but everything necessary is available and from the balcony you have great views of the sea. The small double bed is really small in length for us and consists of two mattresses. It was just enough for us (1.90 m). Maria received us extremely nicely, explained everything and even drove us to the supermarket, thank you! The supermarkets are easily accessible by bus, otherwise there is a parking space for a rental car.

Labros was an incredibly nice host, super responsive and very easy to get on with. He was great when I arrived and the appartment itself was squeaky clean. He gave me good recommendations for places to go and was always willing to go above and beyond to make my trip easier. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

This place was so cute and fun to stay in! Very quiet and cozy, and a close drive to the Temple of Poseidon. Be sure to use the coordinates given to map out your journey, as Google tried to take us to a different spot with the address. The coordinates were easy to follow to find the house.

We had an a amazing stay at Studio Xanthippe. We were in Kalamos for a wedding and the location was fantastic. We drove to Vlastos and Agi Apostoli several times throughout our stay, and it was very easy. About 10-15 minute drive. And Agi Apostoli is a great town for restaurants etc. Maria was an incredible host! She was very helpful before our arrival, in assisting us to find the house. She made us feel so at home and welcome. She really went above and beyond. The studio itself is beautiful. So comfortable and facilities are fantastic. View is stunning! Perfect little balcony for morning coffee. An easy trip to Kalamos village and a small mini mart for the basics. Cannot fault the experience.

Enchanting views over the sea from the terrace, tranquility and inspiration at the same time. Home with charm, everything you need, well maintained, lovingly furnished. We felt right at home!! Helpful property manager, very accommodating and warm owner, who gave us valuable tips. We will be happy to come back...

The villa is absolutely lovely. Very spacious, well equipped and clean. It has lovely gardens which are obviously well cared for, fantastic views of the Saronic gulf from either the balcony at the front or the terrace at the back - which is also a great place to watch the stunning sunsets. The pool is also a real bonus - perfect for a morning swim before breakfast or a relaxing dip after getting back from the beach. Public beaches and tavernas are not really within easy walking distance though, so it's best to have a car if you want to get the most out of your stay. Dita is a wonderful hostess, so kind and welcoming - even providing a little welcome pack which was much appreciated. We stayed as a family of four (my wife and I and our two children - both young adults) and we had a wonderful holiday. The villa really is a lovely place to stay and a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area - being a reasonably short drive from Athens whilst also close to Cape Sounion and all the surrounding beaches. Would definitely recommend!

Maria’s place was fantastic. This small home was exactly what we were looking for. The perfect escape on Aegina. It is set in the back of a much larger property. The hosts live on the property but we felt complete privacy. There are many trees and the sound of the cicadas was very relaxing. The small private pool is the perfect size. Beautifully lit up at night, we were able to barbecue and cook in the kitchen for every meal. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we would need to cook. The house was stocked with clean towels for bathing, swimming and even offered robes. Maria was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. I would recommend having some means of transportation because it is just slightly outside the hustle and bustle of the center of town. Overall a great stay, would definitely stay again. One of our favorite Airbnbs for sure!

My wife and I really enjoyed this house. Maria, our host, was an awesome host. She picked us up from the ferry and took us to the house. She provided restaurant suggestions and things to do on Kea Island. The house was clean, comfortable, and the views were incredible. You will need a car to get around here. We would definitely stay here again.

The location of the house is incredible, overlooking a beautiful small bay from the sea with almost private beach. The area is very nice with several great restaurants that can be reached by car quickly. The layout of the house with the two verandas and the rooms overlooking the sea was also perfect!

Honestly what can I say, the best and most friendliest host ever. He gave us great tips, was always available and even took time to connect us to the neighbours who were visiting for the same event as we were. We can all agree you will not find a more dependable host. Highly recommend you all to stay here. Location, Price, cleanliness and accessibility to the super markets and beach were the standouts

We spent two wonderful weeks at Rena and Stelios’ place in beautiful Nea Makri. They were both so welcoming and kind to us and we felt at home immediately. Our baggage got lost on the way to Athens, which meant we arrived late at night in Nea Makri. That was not a problem. Stelios greeted us when we came. They gave us many suggestions as to what to explore and experience in the area. The beach is only a five minute walk from the house. There are also a string of good cafés and restaurants along the seaside. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Kima. Sidsel and family.

The place was very nicely decorated, super clean, and the host was very friendly and helpful. We loved the view and all the food recommendations close by. Highly recommend for quiet holidays in the summer!

The property is well located and has everything you need for a family. it is organised perfectly with all essentials and more. It has all the perks of a hotel but all comfort of an apartment.

We had a wonderful stay, quiet location with relaxing beaches, and local restaurants around. Definitely need a car. It was a little tricky to find initially, but the host gave us lots of instructions and local recommendations. Pool was awesome to cool off in hot summer days.
