Highly recommend Akiko's cottage for a memorable and extremely comfortable stay in Shimoda! The location is terrific, but the house's charm and warmth almost make you never want to leave! Everything you need is provided on the property, and there's such thoughtful design and care that has gone into this place. It's a lovely cottage with beautiful touches everywhere, and we were so comfortable and happy for our three nights. Akiko's also possibly the best hostess we've ever had, and not only did she have fresh flowers to welcome us, she sent recommendations for everything we were interested in. So friendly and kind!

아기 낳고 가족들과 첫 여행 편안히 잘 쉬다갑니다! 덕분에 힘내서 육아 힘낼 수 있을것같습니다 ㅎㅎ 청결하고 깔끔해서 너무좋았습니다. 해변과 회센터 도보10분 이내라 너무 좋았습니다!

5월 중순에 오고 너무 좋았어서 한달만에 재방문 했습니다. 역시 너무 좋았고 이번에도 힐링 제대로 하고 갑니다~~!!

The Host was extremely helpful, gracious and friendly. Extremely prompt and professional. She was so hospitable and the amenities were excellent. Truly one of the best stays ever.

나중에 여유가 된다면 아예 내 집처럼 살고 싶은 집입니다. 일정없이 숙소에서 쉬는 것 또한 중요하다고 생각하는데 숙소에서의 공간자체가 힐링이되는 시간이었습니다 ^^ 집에서 요리를 못해서 한달살기가 안되는게 너무 아쉬워버리지만 충분히 공간이 주는 가치가 있어요!

The moment you walk into this place, you just know—it’s right. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you never feel shortchanged. The value is there, and the experience more than delivers. If I ever build a house of my own, this place would absolutely be one I’d keep in mind as inspiration. Everything about it—from the design to the details—feels considered and balanced. I won’t go on and on, because anything beyond this would feel unnecessary. But if you’re looking to stay in a Hanok-style home that’s close to restaurants, cafes, and only about 10–15 minutes from the Hanok Village and all the surrounding energy, this is a choice you won’t regret. Hopefully the host gives me a discount next time, because I’d definitely love to return—and stay even longer. Cheers!

We throughly enjoyed staying at Isami’s house. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Great views, enjoyed the barbecue and my husband especially enjoyed the sauna. We would definitely stay there again. The nicest place we stayed at during our 4 week visit to Japan. Thank you Isami.

12人で利用しましたが全員休める寝床がありプールもサウナも満喫できました！キッチンも広くBBQスペースもあるので楽しかったです！夜は虫が多いのでしっかり戸締りはしましょう！！

반려견과 함께 머물 수 있는 독채 펜션을 찾다가 방문하게 되었는데, 정말 만족스러웠어요. 독채라서 다른 투숙객 눈치 보지 않고 지낼 수 있었고, 마당이 넓고 담장이 높아 반려견이 마음껏 뛰어놀 수 있어 좋았어요. 주변이 완전히 막혀 있어서 프라이빗한 분위기가 특히 마음에 들었습니다. 청소 상태도 깔끔했고, 특히 화장실이 넓고 쾌적해서 사용하기 편했어요. 주변 환경도 조용해서 오랜만에 여유롭게 쉬고 올 수 있었습니다. 반려견과 함께 편안한 시간을 보내고 싶은 분들께 추천하고 싶어요!

The house is old Okinawan style, well maintained and nicely decorated. Rey is very environmentally concerned, which felt like a relief after almost a year spent in Tokyo. Finally Iriomote is wild and beautiful, a place where you can reconnect with Nature, its sounds and rhythm. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back! Ps: We were there with 2 kids of 10 and 8yo, who loved the house which felt like a cabin.

2泊3日で、女性2名・わんこを連れて、お邪魔させていただきました。おうちまで先導してくださって、簡単なご説明をしてくださったので、安心して使い始めることができました。 困ったことがあると、お電話をしても柔軟なご対応もしてくださるので、問題なく使用させていただけました。 お庭も広く、わんこも走りまわることができたので、日頃の運動不足を解消できたと思います。一つお願いしたいことは、お庭に門や網などついていたら、目を離しても大丈夫だったかな？と思います。 非日常的な3日間を過ごすことができ、大満足です！ また機会がありましたら伺わせていただきます。 ありがとうございました！

재방문입니다. 호스트분들이 너무 좋으시고 제가 가보았던 다른 곳과 비교 퀄리티와 서비스 모두 최고입니다. 항상 느끼지만 1박 2일은 너무 아쉽고 2박 3일이 필요한 곳입니다. 부엌 화장실 모두 좋았고 이불도 좋았습니다. 새롭게 만들어진 바베큐장이 너무 좋았고 펜션 아래 계곡은 최고 중 최고 입니다. 불멍도 너무 좋았고 나무랄데 없는 최고의 숙소 였습니다.

아주 댕댕이와 사람 전부 만족하는 최고의 숙소입니다 마당 수영장과 집안 내부도 깔끔하고 층고가 높아서 좋았습니다

집앞에 주차를 마치고 내려오면 한 눈에 들어오는 시원한 바다 풍경과 잘 정돈된 정원에 기분이 좋아집니다. 또, 문을 열고 들어서면 정갈하게 정리된 드립커피 세트와 오디오/CD, 그리고 미리 시원하게 맞추어진 실내온도에서 세심한 배려심을 느낍니다. 머무는 내내 편안하고 즐거워서, 여수에 오면 꼭 다시 한 번 묵고싶은 그런 곳이었습니다. ㄹ

Yoshi's place was a nice reset from the business of Tokyo. Finding the home was easy and the check in process was smooth. The place was extremely clean, kitchen was stocked with breakfast sandwiches which was a thoughtful touch and we loved the early check-in and late check-out option ! Keep in mind that there is another Airbnb across the street so you don't have an unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji, but it's still a great view and I would highly recommend Yoshi's place!

２泊３日で利用しました。必要なものは記載通り揃っていて、ホストの方に連絡せずともわかりやすく整頓されています！外のお庭も綺麗で、晴れていたら目の前の山岳も綺麗に見えます！車はコンパクトなサイズの方がおすすめです。阿蘇山目当ての旅行でしたがアクセスも良く、道中もとても綺麗でした。また泊まりたいです

숙소는 사진 그대로 한적한 분위기에 뷰가 너무 아름다워서 집에 돌아가기 너무 아쉬웠습니다 침구에서 좋은냄새가 나서 좋았고 매우 청결했으며 가족과 함께 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요 배게는 경추 배게로 준비되어있는데 남편은 덕분에 잘잤다고 했고 저는 높아서 그런지 약간 불편했어요 호스트분께 문의사항 연락드렸을때도 친절하고 빠르게 응대해주셔서 너무너무 감사했습니다 내년 벚꽃이 필무렵 다시 방문하고 싶습니다 감사합니다

Eine unserer schönsten Airbnb-Erfahrungen überhaupt! Unsere Zeit in Azumino war einfach magisch – so sehr, dass wir spontan verlängert haben. Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft ruhig mitten in den japanischen Alpen, umgeben von Natur und einer fast meditativen Stille. Ein idealer Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und neue Energie zu tanken. Was dieses Erlebnis aber wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war unser Gastgeber Hiro. Er ist ein unglaublich warmherziger Mensch, der sich mit ganzem Herzen um seine Gäste kümmert. Dank seiner Herzlichkeit, Fürsorge und wunderbaren Empfehlungen haben wir uns vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause gefühlt. Besonders empfehlen möchten wir das private Onsen, das den Wohlfühlfaktor noch einmal auf ein ganz neues Level hebt – einfach herrlich nach einem Tag in den Bergen. Auch die Cafés und Restaurants in der Umgebung, die Hiro uns empfohlen hat, waren alle ausnahmslos liebevoll geführt und richtig gut. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen – danke für alles, lieber Hiro!

Endos place was amazing. The cabin was even nicer than the photos. There was a lot of space and had a beautiful view of the lake. Endo was also very accommodating to requests. I hope to come back again some day!

Very very unique and beautiful garden and house! Really loved the details and the size of the house is larger than it looks in the picture. Especially the living room. I liked that there is 2 separate bed rooms as the photos made it feel like they are in the same area (booked this without double checking everything so it was a beautiful surprise!) Just note on the water heater for shower make sure it is on and the degrees is chosen. Although that was in the instructions but we forgot and some of us had “cold” showers.. not the host fault though. Very very lovely stay. Will definitely want to come back and stay a bit linger to enjoy Jeju and the beautiful house (2 nights was too short to enjoy the house in its self) Thanks Rama for being a superhost!

Perfect place to stay! Instructions of check in and all appliances were clear. The garden was beautiful and the house was well furnished with all the amenities we needed for the trip. It was just like staying at our own place. The host was wonderful, surprising and delighting us with thoughtful gifts. It was a cozy stay. We managed to view some stars at the rooftop on one of the nights too. Will stay here again and recommend the place to others.

Breakfast was astounding!! The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed the countryside scenery. The room was clean.
