Lynn was a most responsive host and did everything possible to make our stay work for us. The apartment is beautiful with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and a delightful balcony with ever changing gorgeous views across the estuary. All the amenities of Porthmadog town are walkable and you can watch and listen to the historic trains from the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - only wishing it could have been longer.

Ty Canol is very comfortable and well appointed. It's an old stone cottage with a small mature garden. five minutes walk from the sea. We felt at home straight away.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at Wendy’s place. Amazing views, beautiful and comfortable house extremely well equipped and designed. Lots to do exploring the area and beyond and always lovely to come back and enjoy the views particularly from the upstairs lounge. We’d love to come back again.

This was the third year we have stayed here and, as previously, everything was straight-forward and worked very well. A great location for days on the beach and within easy walking distance of places to eat and the local pub. Ideal for our extended family with two young children and we will be looking to go again in the future. Host was friendly and accommodating, overall highly recommended.

An absolute favourite place to be. Mountains, estuary, seaside, walks, bike rides. Looking out over the estuary we feel like the only people there, away from the roads. Peaceful, in fact idyllic is not an exaggeration. A great place to make family memories. We had perfect blue skies and so clear at night we could see every star in the sky 😊

The cottage is very well installed, with plenty of space for ourbfamily of four adults. The kitchen is excellent, as well as the conservatory/lounge. The hot tub is hands down the top amenity: pristine clean and warm! Highly recommended!

Gorgeous, cosy cottage with stunning views of the coast and Anglesey. We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. Large well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and luxurious bath! The hot tub was an added bonus which the whole family enjoyed. Fantastic communication and recommendations from James. We wholeheartedly recommend and very much look forward to going back!

We had a great stay here. A lovely little lodge with everything needed to stay in and cook or bring food back. A helpful folder of recommendations was provided, and Tracey communicated with us very well. Everything was clean and tidy, and it was lovely to be able to use the hot tub while looking out onto the lake. Great location, only 5-minute drive into the town where there is shops, bars and takeaways. Nice and close to Snowdon and Zip World, which is why we were visiting. Nice personal touches, a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived, some chocolate and even some Welsh cakes which we tried for the first time. Definitely would stay again if we were in the area.

nice little place, we only stayed one night whilst travelling home from south Wales, very friendly host, I asked of we could check in early and she said we could check in whenever we wanted as it was ready to go.

I had a wonderful stay at Carla’s place! The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

A really lovely stay! The stunning hot tub was such a nice treat, it was so big and warm! The rooms were all very clean and felt overall bigger than the pictures. In a great location with plenty to do around. Would definitely recommend

Couldn't have picked anywhere better

We had a wonderful weekend. Richard was a considerate host and very flexible when we were running late for check-in. The house and surrounding countryside were both beautiful and the pool was fantastic. We were a group of 4 couples, 4 infants, a toddler and a dog, so it could have been chaos. However, the whole stay was very easy and stress-free as all needs were met. The check-in was very thorough so we understood the quirks of the building. We would definitely stay again. Had a lovely stay here for a couple of night with my dog. The cabin was lovely and cosy with fantastic views, very comfortable this time of the year, went just before holiday season so was very quiet too! The host was fantastic with supplying lots of information about the cabin and local area, very friendly, even had some dog bowls and dog treats ready for when I arrived which was great surprise. A place I’ll certainly visit again. (Tip: study the map of the cabin village before you set off! Otherwise the cabin can be tricky to find haha)

Had a fantastic weekend away with our young family. The house was full of character and had a great layout for a family gathering. The facilities including hot tub, courtyard and use of swimming pool and play area at campsite were excellent. Lovely pub walking distance away.

Absolutely loved this place! The surroundings are stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. The place is very spacious and modern, and I loved all the little stable-themed details. Would highly recommend and would LOVE to go back one day!

We had a great stay at this cottage, it was exactly what we needed! Very peaceful but lots of amenities nearby, and the external drying room was incredibly useful when the heavens opened. Jane also communicated really well and check in was very easy.

Great place. Accessible - which was important for us, and something that stands out in the glowing reviews. Straight onto the dunes and wonderful beach and a quick walk into town. Great hosts and would definitely recommend, for a a lovely base to explore Barmouth and the the stunning surroundings
