Family-friendly holiday rentals in Durangaldea

The place is beautiful as in the photos, it is peaceful place and we have enjoyed it . We were family of 5 and it fits well. Driving to the near by town is 10 minutes where we found good restaurants. Luis was super friendly, he answered fast and addressed any questions we had. High recommended place

The house is better than in the photos, very spacious with enough rooms for a large and very clean group, also located very close to the sea and with views from one of the rooms. The garden with pool is also a taste, without a doubt if we return to Bilbao we will repeat

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We stayed five nights at Inma's house. The stay was very pleasant. We were 7 people and the house was very comfortable and warm. Everything is very clean and functional. Jacuzzi and pressure showers, a delight. The location of the house in the historic center of Alegría, perfect! Communication with Inma and Sergio is very good. They waited for us on arrival and explained everything there was to know to use the house in the best conditions. We strongly recommend this place.

Super friendly and attentive hosts, unbeatable value apartment, 10/10 location. If you want to disconnect, you can do so without any problem. If you want to travel and discover, you can do it without any problems. If you need to relax after the trip or sightseeing, the jacuzzi is great (as long as you respect the schedules so as not to disturb the neighbors). In short, if you want to book it, don't miss out, you'll be sure to get it right.

Heaven on earth in Navarre! Our group - two couples and two young-adult children - fell completely in love with Javier's modernized 16th century stone house in the Araitz valley, surrounded by endless mountain and green pasture views. The home itself is spacious, artful and comfortable with lots of different sitting areas, a large kitchen (we ate all meals at home or made sandwiches for picnics) and even a ping pong table and enormous workspace. We also loved the outdoor dining area, where we ate most all of our meals, gazing over the grazing sheep, listening to the horse bells and birds and planning our daily hikes. We were able to hike from home for 4 days and rarely saw anyone besides animals or people working the fields on our walks. We were able to buy all of our groceries in Betalu the Maitz butcher/gourmet takeout shop and the small market next door. There's also a dairy for fresh milk and yogurt! Javier escorted us to the house and was the perfect host. You won't regret it!

Isabel’s country home is so spacious, well furnished and well equipped. Ideal for large families or groups on holiday in the Navarre area. The phrase home from home could not be more appropriate and Isabel made us seem so welcome. She really looked after us and was glad to share her local knowledge of places and restaurants to visit. Thank you so much Isabel for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

It is a very quiet place, easy to get to and a stone's throw from Lekunberri. Where there's everything. If you like hiking and nature, Rafa the host can help you as he knows the area quite well.

We can only agree with the other very positive reviews for Mikel and his apartment. The Gros neighborhood is a wonderful base with many restaurants and shops. The sights are within walking distance. Zurriola beach is at your doorstep and always offers plenty to look with the many surfers, even from the balcony of the apartment. Mikel sekbst is very friendly and accommodating, a great host. Absolutely top recommendation.

Nice apartment and town. Very central. Supermarket 2 minutes walk away, there are also many restaurants (not all good). Lots of room at night. Difficult to park but Eva offers you Parking, so it's better to take it. Highly recommended for a weekend.

Dorleta's place is even better than it looked online. The setting was serene and stunning. Our little one loved the dogs, chickens and horses on the grounds and the place was well equiped and well appointed. Dorleta's son was extremely helpful and they were both communicative and responsive. We had a wonderful stay!

Before high season Bakio was a delight! Awesome surf, great walks, and lovely Basque hospitality.

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Perfect for groups or families and the house had everything you could want to make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you plan to visit multiple French and Spanish cites. Very great location close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely like to come again!

The accommodation matched the description perfectly. Easy access and you feel at home. The neighbors of the building where it is are very kind. It's a shame that due to the weather we couldn't use the pool, which had a very good track.

The apartment is fantastic. It is spacious with plenty of storage and amenities. It had a working washing machine with facilities to dry on the balcony - this was useful as we had been travelling beforehand. There is a swimming pool which we didn’t use, however, it looked clean and very inviting! The area is perfect. A lovely coastal walk nearby and a place to generally chill overlooking the sea. The host gave very clear photos and instructions of how to check in etc. The only slight negative would be the check in time, which was 5pm. I feel this is quite late in terms of other properties. We were able to check in around 4pm which helped.

We had a great stay at this house. It is spacious and very well equipped, nicely furnished and it is pleasant to stay there. The garden is beautiful and we enjoyed it, the covered terrace allows you to eat outside even when it rains. The host is very friendly and accommodating.
