The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Otter Spring on the Rainbow River

A beautiful space on the Rainbow River, you won’t regret staying here! The home is lovely and comfortable and the location can’t be beat if you enjoy nature and privacy. We didn’t use the guest house for our family of 4 but if we had a slightly larger group it would be a great option to spread out. This is a space for quiet time and relaxation, not to be loud or to party, which we appreciated. We arrived on Memorial day and the river was busy but the rest of the stay there was less boat traffic, just a few casual tubers and kayakers floating by. It has lots of floats and water gear and we brought our own canoe which can easily be launched from the yard. We made some fantastic family memories swimming, fishing and cooking off of the back deck and would love to come back next summer! Thanks!

Our employees loved having this peaceful and beautiful location to rest and wake up to the peaceful surroundings the next morning after working hard all day. Their stay here was good for morale and productivity. The property is gorgeous, comfortable, well maintained and would be a great place for vacation. Host were great, friendly and helpful. Serenity Cove - Waterfront

We loved our stay at George’s with our toddler and dog. The house was very clean and the backyard was spacious. Very well equipped home with conveniences not included at all air bnbs, which we really appreciated. We had so much fun taking a few of the kayaks out on the river and also rented a boat, which we docked at the house. Our dog loved all the room he had to run and we enjoyed breezy afternoons and gorgeous sunsets sitting out by the river. Cranes, a turtle and an alligator were all seen from the backyard. We felt immersed in nature while still being a quick drive away from grocery, restaurants and both Rainbow River and Hunter Springs (15 min). My husband appreciated the grill and espresso machine. The only downside is the master shower, which js a bit cramped for a 6’2 guy and near impossible for me to shower without getting my hair wet, so I used the bath/shower in the other bathroom instead! We would stay here again!

Beautiful home! Had all the necessities for a comfortable stay and more. I loved the arcade in the garage and the games in the back yard. We spent most of the time resting in the huge comfortable couch watching Netflix on the massive TV in the living room. Pet friendly, kid friendly, and so close rainbow springs. Definitely recommend stying at JC house during your stay in Dunellon.

Private Oasis w/ Pool - Next to Rainbow River

Matched description, but had religious themed art. Tubs and showers had dirt and dust coating them. Dead roach in corner of living room. No trash bags provided. Bad ant problem out by the pool. The drive way was not large enough for our 3 cars, not allowed to park anywhere else. The neighborhood looks established and is extremely quiet, has elderly people and new parents with kids walking around. The Airbnb feels out of place and the quiet times start at 8-8. I also felt uncomfortable with the quantity of ring cameras. There were 4-5 total I think. I get you want to watch the doors, but it feels like a privacy invasion especially in the backyard when you’re getting out of the pool.
