Beachfront holiday rentals in Dundee

Perfectly placed to watch the water, plus sunsets and sunrise sky around the Tay River - changing every day! A home from home feel with everything needed to make our stay comfortable and restful. Richard was a great host. We followed his recommendations for eating out and were very pleased - especially the Harbour Cafe for lunches and the evening welcome from locals at the Cobbie Inn. We DID spot a dolphin from the accommodation and, more excitingly, an otter!

I visited with a friend while walking part of the John Muir Way, the property was directly on the route and fantastic for this purpose. Karen was a brilliant host and allowed us access a little early to this great property, it's so well located for access to the beach and local amenities. Parking was really easy, some just for Residents but more than enough for everyone. The facilities were great we had all we needed to cook and eat in house and we were particularly impressed with the toiletries and thoughtful little touches like a spare phone charger plug. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Amazing amazing place to stay, we absolutely loved it! The beach is so wonderful to walk on and swim in, and Alex and Dan’s place was so welcoming and cozy! And Alex and Dan are very kind and responsive!

Wonderfull few days away at st Abbs beautiful place for walking and relaxing. Paul was very friendly check in and out was easy no issues. Lovely little find would love to come back in the future.

Perfect position for access to the harbour (with sandy beach), the tidal pool and other amenities. Great local walks along the Fife Coastal Path. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped.

We stayed in Donald’s beautiful cottage for 5 nights. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and spacious. Beautiful location overlooking the sea, nice pub across the road, easy access to Edinburgh city centre by bus. No problem with parking. 5 star experience overall. Would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely place , so comfortable, like being home from home , Nicely situated by train station and shops and restaurants , would defiantly recommend if you are travelling to Dundee or broughty ferry

A wonderfully decorated cottage with a stunning view! Lovely details in every room, beautiful colourscheme, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We could have sat and watched the sea from the porch all day. Highly recommended! If possible would give it 7 stars!

Thanks to Deyan, we had a smooth check in. The cabin would have been impossible to find without Deyan's clear instructions. The place was squeaky clean and everyone loved it. We did wish we could cut out some plans from our holiday to stay there for a few more days. Absolutely worth the money

Stay at David’s place was great! The area was very close by to the beach. Close to Edinburgh as well so was able to do day trips there. There is plenty to do in the resort as well. The rooms were slightly smaller than expected but didn’t affect us too much.

Fantastic caravan with everything you need for a great holiday. Even had a welcome gift and a few additions to keep the little ones entertained. Caravan feels brand new and has all amenities you could need. Right on the seafront and was perfect Edinburgh marathon weekend as the marathon runs past the front of the park twice. Would highly recommend!

Truly amazing views, exceeding our expectations. Fun and friendly site and space for our grandson too. Perfect host and a simply special place for a total break away from the city noise. Thank You ⭐️

Maggie and her husband were great hosts, we didn't get to meet Maggie, but her husband was a great gentleman and helpful, and we had a lovely conversation with him during check-in. Lovely little home with plenty of space and seating in the living room and the dining area. Smart TV's in almost every room which is lovely. plenty of sunshine and natural light all around. We did check-in on a pretty short notice, Maggie and her husband were responsive and the check-in process was fast. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.

Place was spotless and lovely decor throughout nothing a miss beautiful and felt relaxed and at home. G was very helpful, prompt responses to any questions/queries.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s cosy holiday caravan! From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home. The caravan was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A special thank you to Mary for being such an attentive and thoughtful host—especially for quickly refilling the gas cylinders when needed. It made such a difference and showed how much she genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. Mary, you’re the best host we’ve ever had 😀, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended! Steve’s place is a piece of tranquil magic, fabulous views, everything in walking distance, spotless and everything and more you need in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, lounge, it’s just wonderful and I can’t praise it enough. Steve is great as are the staff in the Ship Inn, highly recommended.

Near to everything,town beach bars and restaurants couldn’t be in a better location,Gemma left provisions and treats very thoughtful

Took us a little time to find our way to where we found that the access staircase was on the reverse/back of the building, looking towards the river, rather than on the street. Other than that we easily just followed Helen's instructions and quickly got into the house. The house was very tidy and cosy with superb views onto the river and harbour. It was great to find the welcome pack/supplies which included tea and instant coffee and marmalade and jam. .The whole house was very clean and tidy and cosy. The kitchen was lovely and modern and I really appreciated the supply of ground coffee for use in the cafetiere which was provided. We quickly settled in and also appreciated the big-screen tv, and the leaflets and books about the history etc of the area of Ferryden. Helen is a very good host and made us feel welcome with a smashing wee property for visitors to rent. Thanks to this we had an enjoyable wee break.

Had a fantastic weekend at Barometer Cottage. The cottage is beautiful and extremely clean, and all furnishings are well cared for. The outside of the cottage is deceiving as the inside is extremely spacious. All the kitchen equipment is top of the range and all looks brand new. Bathroom is spotless and the bedrooms are lovely, beds are extremely comfortable and had such a great night sleep both nights of our visit. Cannot fault anything. Clear instructions on how to get there, get into the cottage and on the link you are sent there are instructions on how everything works. Cottage is close to town centre and there are plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes close by. We would definitely recommend and look forward to returning in the future ❤️

Excellent flat in central location. The flat is in perfect condition, spotlessly clean and has plenty of amenities - everything you need for a short stay. June was a pleasure to deal with - she always responded quickly, was friendly and provided lots of pertinent information. She made us feel welcomed and at home in her beautiful flat.

Lovely stay and nice flat in a perfect location. The only minor point was that 2 bedrooms were up a very steep set of ladder-stairs.

Lovely place, very central and lots of lovely little touches which made you feel at home. Broughty Ferry itself was great, clean beach, great play park for the kids and lots of fab coffee shops and restaurants. The children loved the arcade machine and the garden was massive. Very clean and would definitely stay again. Thank you.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful location. Arran was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The wee beach house was lovely inside and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Can’t wait to go back!
