Cabin in the Woods

This quiet, off-grid retreat will allow you to get away from it all, recharge, and absorb the sounds of nature. The 440 m walk to the cabin through the woods will enable you to decompress before you arrive. There's a cleared hiking or snowshoe trail for you to enjoy that goes beyond the cabin. The cabin does not have running water or electricity. We will provide water, lanterns, wood for the woodstove, and a small generator to charge your phone and lanterns during your stay.

This is a totally private, self contained apartment with full kitchen. The house is a heritage property in historic Perth, Ontario. It's location is steps from the downtown area and the beautiful Stewart Park. The kitchen is brand new as are the 2 queen size beds. The apartment is air conditioned, has wifi and cable tv with (Netflix etc). You will have the entire upstairs apartment with private entrance. Indoor parking for one vehicle is included. Very cozy and quiet.

This cabin can sleep up to five people (twin, double, and loft has a queen) Includes small kitchen unit with mini-fridge, sink (no running water but jug of water provided) and double burner stove. The kitchen accessories seen in the photos are what is provided. We ask that you not bring your own dish soap, to protect our ecosystem we will provide it. BEDDING IS NOT PROVIDED PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS AND BLANKETS.

Rustic cabin on the banks of the Tay river 5 mins from Perth. Very private, solar powered, gas cooking, outhouse, fishing, canoe/ kayaking, swimming, train tracks about 3/4 of mile away, so you might hear that lonesome whistle blow.Fire wood and propane are provided..there is no running water therefore no shower...and its suggested that you bring your your own bedding and pillows
