We've just spent a lovely week at this property in Hayfield. It was a great accommodation and perfectly matched our needs for our first ever visit to the Peak District. The local area and walks are stunning and varied in nature, everything from flat (dismantled railways) to the challenge of Kinder Scout. We spent hours walking and exploring but it was always a pleasure to return home at the end of a long day for a hot shower and comfortable surroundings. The excellent communication and simple check in/out made for a stress free stay. The house is well equipped and there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen but we didn't actually use them very much as eating out in the village pubs and restaurants was our preference after a long day in the hills. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return in the future.

We had such a lovely stay at Helen's place in Lymm, can't recommend enough! From the minute we arrived, Helen and Mark were very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for the local area. The property is a short walk from lots of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops in the heart of the village. The place was spotless and very well equipped - everything you need for a short break. Thanks so much for having us!

A really nice getaway place, whether for a few days or a longer break. The Annex was very cosy, clean and well equipped which made it really easy to settle in. Beautiful views from the bedrooms and a cosy TV room to settle in for the evenings. Very easy car access and ample space for parking right in front that was easy to reverse into. Paula was extremely responsive with her messages, provided clear instruction for finding the place and checking in and also very kindly accommodated our request for a slightly later checkout, which was really helpful! The location is on the outskirts of Chapel, so no noisy traffic, yet within easy access to shops and eating places as well as the many walking trails. All in all, a lovely place to spend relaxing time at and we’ll certainly consider this again in the future!

Beautiful little spot, perfect for a family getaway. Ailsa was super helpful, we were arriving later than expected so flexible check-in was helpful, and she even put on some lights for us so we wouldn't struggle on arrival. Kitchen had everything you'd need, and Ailsa had stocked the fridge with milk and a couple of lovely biscuits. Absolutely great host, and lovely spot on the green.

Heather (acting on behalf of Chris) was extremely helpful and responsive. We received clear instructions on how to work the heating and how to enter the property, as well as useful info on local amenities. The house has everything you’d need for a short or medium stay and the location is excellent for visiting central Manchester and the surrounding area. The garden is enclosed with a high fence, which made it perfect for our dog to play in. We also appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer, which we were able to make use of. We couldn’t fault this property!

Exactly what we needed - a quiet bolt hole in which to relax after the long journey to/from Manchester and the south. This meant that our dog was welcome too! Lovely grounds. Super clean and comfortable cottage with thoughtful touches so that you could relax immediately.

BEAUTIFUL place in a lovely community, very walkable! Back garden is lovely and basement washing machine/dryer keep the noise away. Beds are on the soft side and incredibly comfy - very spacious as well. The kind of place where you'd happy walk around barefeet as well. Lovely bathroom with amazing shower

Lovely cottage, comfortable and homely from the minute you walk through the door. Kitchen well stocked and shower was good especially the heated floor. Nice tv/ seating area for after a days hiking. Our dog loved the garden and exploring the surrounding hills. A couple of walks straight from the door. We visited Lady Bower and the B29 crash site both nice walks, but get there early as parking soon fills up. We are already looking for dates to rebook, as lots in the area to do and see.

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience there! So peaceful and close to nature Debbie the wellness therapist is the best. I would recommend everyone visiting ribblesdale to try booking with her!

Gillon and Merete were amazing hosts. The place is beautiful and in such a stunning setting. My favourite moment was going out for an early evening swim - so tranquil. The pool was lovely and warm. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I would definitely revisit Jess’s place again. The location is conveniently situated just outside the bustling center, with several bus stops nearby that make it easy to reach the Trafford Center for shopping, as well as visit the iconic Manchester Football Stadium. I had a fantastic time relaxing in the evening by the cozy fire, which created the perfect atmosphere for our mini date night in the flat. The space was incredibly peaceful, allowing us to unwind and enjoy each other's company without distraction. Additionally, there are plenty of local shops and charming urban cafes within walking distance, making it a great spot for grabbing a coffee or exploring unique finds. Overall, the combination of comfort, accessibility, and a vibrant neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely few nights, children enjoyed walking and the Lego was a big winner. Everything we needed to just have sometime at a home away from home

Lovely place to stay, house and location was beautiful. Host was so welcoming and friendly. The animals on the little farm was such a lovely touch. We had an amazing time, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Holly’s home provides a great base from where to branch out on day trips either by foot or by car. Her home is spotlessly clean and contains all the amenities you need to enjoy your break. Holly was friendly to deal with and she answered any messages promptly. I would definitely stay at this home again. Thank you, Holly.

Really good place to stay that I would highly recommend. Great location, had all the thing's you could possibly need. Emma was very friendly and informative. Went above and beyond with small little things like providing drinks, biscuits, cereal etc. 10/10!

we really love Katie's place. second time for us to stay there as its so convenient being so close to our Mums house, which we are renovating. It's like home from home for us. We had an amazing long stay here, whilst we moved house. Tamara is an amazing host, really helpful and friendly and honestly couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The house is lovely, very clean and tidy with lots of lovely amenities and little kind touches everywhere. Great house instructions and welcome pack for the utilities and ideas for shopping, entertainment and restaurants to visit locally. Lots of lovely touches like Netflix and Alexa make you feel like you are home. We had a great stay, the neighbourhood is quiet and nice neighbours too, who say hello and make you feel welcome! I would fully recommend staying at Hestia House, everything about our host and the stay was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend 😊

We had a lovely stay at Cobbus Cabin! The place is beautifully decorated, fresh clean bedding privided and quite possibily the most comfy bed I think I've ever slept in. Instructions on how to get to the AirBnB were very concise and we had no issue finding the location. We really enjoyed the peaceful scenery and watching the neighbouring cows running in the field whilst having a drink on the balcony. Highly recommend this accommodation!

This is by far the best air bnb I have ever stayed in. Amy is the best host, great communication before during and after and great tips and advice about the area. The place is an absolute dream to stay… very stylish interior with absolutely everything you need. And the location is close to great cafes, restaurants and pubs. Book this place if you can!

We had a great stay, straight forward check in, it was very easy to catch the bus into the centre of Manchester, and around £10 for an uber back. The bungalow was clean and tidy. Thank you Diana.

Charlotte's place was absolutely spotless and it felt like no expense was spared which was so refreshing to see. Everything was just perfect; the beds were super comfy and the bedding was good quality. The kitchen and kitchen applinances were prestine and the views were something else. We also enjoyed a fab sunday lunch at the white hart inn. Highly recommend!
