Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Drenthe

We hebben voor de tweede keer gelogeerd in dit mooie en ruime huisje. Alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. De locatie is perfect. Je kunt heerlijk wandelen en/of fietsen in de omgeving. Wij liepen de 4 daagse van Exloo en vanuit Valthe goed te bereiken. Kim is een aardige gastvrouw die attent is behulpzaam.

Heerlijk huisje. Brandschoon, heerlijke tuin met veel privacy, alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, ook voor een kind. Prachtige omgeving, goede uitvalsbasis om Drenthe te verkennen.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy countryside house in Staphorst! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had such a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from a Lake and surrounded by stunning countryside scenery that truly captures the charm of rural Netherlands. A special thanks to our host, Karolien, who was absolutely fantastic. She was extremely helpful throughout our stay, always quick to respond to our messages and making sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our trip was the farm tour with Karolien's lovely family. It was a truly memorable and authentic experience that we’ll never forget.

Mein Mann, unser fast dreijähriger Sohn und ich hatten eine tolle Woche in diesem wunderschönen, gemütlichen Haus. Die liebevolle und umfangreiche Einrichtung wurde für uns durch die Spielsachen und Ausstattung für Kinder (Rausfallschutz am Bett, Babyphone, Wickelkommode, Windeleimer etc) perfekt. Zwei Minuten entfernt liegen mehrere öffentliche Spielplätze, die für jedes Alter geeignete Abwechslung bieten. Für unsere Familie perfekt 🥰abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von der freundlichen Begrüßung von Geert, der jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit war. Vielen Dank für diese tolle Woche! 🍀

Een schattig boshuisje midden in de natuur. Met mooi weer is het alleen maar genieten.

הבית מהמם, מאובזר, מטבח, חדרים, כל המתקנים ברמה גבוהה. מתאים מאד למשפחה. האזור שקט וירוק, ציפורים מצייצות, תענוג אמיתי לאוהבי טבע. המארחים זמינים לכל שאלה, עזרה והמלצה ברמה יוצאת דופן.

We hebben het heerlijk gehad! Een fijn huis, van alle gemakken voorzien, een prachtige tuin en heel rustig. En een gezellige, 'aanlooppoes'. Aagje was prettig in het contact en had goede tips. We kregen zelfs nog plantjes mee uit haar mooie tuin! De locatie is zeer centraal, je kunt alle kanten op. Wij hebben gefietst, gewandeld, steden en musea bezocht, naar film en theater geweest. Dus veel natuur en cultuur en bovendien goed uitgerust!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Thea is een superaardige, vriendelijke gastvrouw. Het voorhuis, van de monumentale boerderij, waar wij logeerden was ruim, mooi opgeknapt, authentiek met mooi uitzicht op weilanden, de schapen en kippen, het voorhuis bood voldoende privacy. Het bed en het meubilair was prima en ook in de tuin was ruim tuinmeubilair aanwezig. Er was ruim voldoende fris linnengoed. Zuidvelde ligt landelijk en biedt voldoende gelegenheid tot fietsen of wandelen. Wij bezochten Groningen en Assen, en het gevangenismuseum in Veenhuizen. We hadden een prima tijd bij Thea, en komen als de gelegenheid zich voordoet graag terug.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf op het platteland! De rust, de ruimte en het prachtige uitzicht over de velden maakten dit tot een perfecte ontsnapping aan de drukte van alledag. De B&B was knus en schoon, met oog voor detail en een warm welkom van de gastheer en -vrouw. Absoluut een aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar ontspanning en natuur!

Wunderschöne moderne Unterkunft, die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Es hat uns rundum gefallen, alles war sehr gepflegt und sauber. Sem war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns weitergeholfen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage bei Jan. Das Appartement bietet alles was man so benötigt. Im Dorf gibt es alles was man braucht. Auch Emmen ist super zu erreichen. Es ist schön mal eine Weile Ruhe zu haben, wenn man Großstadtlärm gewohnt ist!

Wat een prachtige B&B! Rustig en sfeervol en vanaf het terras en de hottub een prachtig uitzicht over het weiland. We hebben genoten! Jitske en haar man waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het ontbijt was ook 5 ***** waard! Graag tot een volgende keer!

Ideale plek als startpunt om Assen te verkennen! De airbnb is ruim, schoon en rustig. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Het centrum van Assen is op loopafstand +/-15min. Het asserbos ligt in de achtertuin en verder genoeg activiteiten liggend in de omgeving.

Jacques's place was simply amazing! Cannot recommend enough. He was very friendly and made the check-in easy and flexible. The house is big (enough space for 4, although we were a couple), very well equiped and Jacques is very proactive in recommending anything you need in the area and pointing you in the right direction (we needed a supermarket). The place is very quiet, green and serene so if you are looking for some nature ans relaxation is the perfect spot. And a very nice detail that impressed us was that in the house a cold bottle of water and a small prosseco was waiting for us. It was quite a warm day so we really appreciated the considerate gesture.

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

Spontane, nonsens gastvrouw, snel en met reageren en mooie B&B en omgeving. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

I recently stayed at Angelina’s condominium in Groningen and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—right in front of a bus stop and situated in a clean and quiet neighborhood. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which made it easy to prepare meals during my stay. There’s a nice dining area and a cozy living room, but what I loved most was the charming loft bedroom. Every morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee with breakfast, a peaceful routine that made my stay even more enjoyable. The only challenge was the room temperature, which felt a bit chilly for someone like me who’s used to tropical weather. However, it was part of the unique experience and didn’t take away from the comfort of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Groningen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei Tineke. Das Apartment war sehr stilvoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, am liebsten hätten wir die Möbel mit heim genommen :-) man hatte viel Privatsphäre, gleichzeitig war Tineke nebenan und man konnte sie immer erreichen, um Hilfe oder Tipps bitten. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Nur die Straße war sehr laut und wir mussten uns erst daran gewöhnen. Für Restaurantbesuche muss man leider etwas weiter fahren, dafür hat die Küche im Apartment aber alles was man braucht, um gut selbst kochen zu können. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Unser Aufenthalt in Meppel hat sich mehr als gelohnt...ein schönes kleines Städtchen. Die Wohnung war super zentral gelegen, sodass alles fußläufig erreichbar war. Zudem sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, freundlich und stets zeitnah. Danke für das tolle Wochenende bei euch.

We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Christel’s place; she and her husband are very kind people; they responded quickly to all our requests and were very helpful. The apartment is comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the quietness of the area. It is definitely a place we are recommending!

The hosts were flexible and very welcoming. The apartment was perfect for my stay in Assen. Would highly recommend :)
