Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Downtown West, Minneapolis

I stayed in this sweet little bungalow while visiting my son, daughter-in-law and my new baby grand-daughter. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect home base. From the moment I arrived, the place felt like a warm hug. It’s soft, quiet, and full of charm. Everything inside is thoughtfully arranged and fully equipped.—from complete kitchen to a very comfortable bedroom with a king-sized bed and a flat screen tv on the wall. The living space was cozy and inviting, a gorgeous couch with soft blankets and a gentle atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a joyful (and sometimes exhausting!) day of baby cuddles and family time. It was close enough to visit my family each day with ease, but still offered a peaceful space to retreat to and recharge. It truly felt like a little sanctuary. For any family coming to town to be near loved ones, this bungalow is the perfect spot.

Josh was a wonderful host. Very responsive and helpful. The location was easy to find, and the instructions were very clear. The backyard was awesome as well, lots of bunnies and chipmunks roaming about, and very peaceful. The apartment was very cool with lots of interesting art, with a comfortable bed and a nice foldout couch. Josh even dropped off some new coffee for us. Wonderful experience with nice people and a great spot.

David’s house was comfortable, quiet, and had everything we needed for our week in Minneapolis. It was a great location for easily checking out many different areas of the twin cities, and very convenient to get to many restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again when we come back through Minnesota. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Johana's place. We felt right at home in this large, beautiful, and impeccably furnished space, which was the perfect size for three of us and had all the amenities that we needed. Johana keeps it well-stocked and was very communicative about how to check in and use everything. The house is in a walkable neighborhood near shops and restaurants. My daughter said she wished she could stay in this house every time we travel. Highly recommend!

We rented Boxwood Cottage for the grandparents during a college graduation. “Warm, welcoming and delightful “ were the superlatives from the grands. Anne and Joe’s cottage was wonderful in all categories. Clean, well decorated with a central location in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. Can’t recommend Boxwood Cottage enough!

This home is located in a beautiful area, close to everything. We loved the historic nature of the home. Everything was clean and well cared for. The beds were comfortable. Nancy greeted us when we walked in and was very friendly and accommodating! Definitely would stay here again!

it was nice to come back to a safe quite area after long busy days out. The refreshing cold ac was a relief after all the heat. The couch was super comfy. Nice spot away from the city.

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

I stayed for close to two weeks. It's a very convenient location, although not walkable in the sense of getting to coffee shops, restaurants. Victoria was extremely responsive and helpful. The unit was well-suited for me. It is uncluttered and had everything I needed. It was very clean, nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. I have no hesitation recommending Victoria's unit.

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

This was a wonderfully charming Airbnb that was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully preserved vintage details! My fiancé and I rented for a week to be our home base during our wedding week (my hometown, currently out-of-state). JJ was super responsive, proactively gave clear instructions, and was super kind to leave us ample snacks (got in late) and celebrated our upcoming nuptials with a bottle of champagne, slippers, and an adorable oven mitt, spatula, and cookbook. Definitely above and beyond!!! The location felt safe with easy access to highways and it was walkable to a great coffee shop and within 10 minutes from our rehearsal dinner and wedding venue. Great value and would recommend and stay again!!! The only minor thing to note is that although the upstairs tenant was very quiet, I was woken up a few mornings by (a dog?) running around upstairs excitedly. The dog was well-behaved/quiet but because the house is older I did hear its weight shifting the floorboards around.

We loved staying here! Alison was a great host with easy to follow instructions for getting there, snacks upon arrival, and plenty of recommendations of places we should check out. I loved the cozy feel of the apartment with the book collection and the patio, and it was easy walking to the bakery and ice cream place on the corner! Both very delicious!

Seana was an excellent, responsive host, and her place is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal— right by several quality restaurants and near the lake— and the apartment is well equipped with tea, coffee, and a great spot by the window where you can enjoy them in the morning.

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

Was needing to be close to University of Minnesota for campus visits and tours. Was a quick drive across the bridge, but we also chose to walk to campus a few times since the weather was nice. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Great Coop grocery store just a block away and nice walking paths and quiet neighborhoods around. House has a historic vibe with all the necessary amenities.

I loved the spaciousness of the unit in this beautiful Victorian house. It is in the beautiful Irvine Park district. It is close to the lively West 7th district and to the shops and pubs along the Mississippi River. I will definitely stay here again.

We loved staying here! This was a very comfortable apartment for two of us and it’s spacious enough to be comfortable for more guests too. I especially appreciated the full working kitchen, high efficiency laundry facilities, and great temperature controls, lots of very soft throw blankets, and ample WiFi. We both worked from the apartment and sometimes both had Zoom meetings at once, and there was never an issue. We hope to be back! This place is a keeper.
