Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Downtown Toronto, Old Toronto

My husband and I stayed at James’ home while in town for a show at The Danforth Music Hall and it was perfect! The neighborhood is very walkable, the options for dinner close by are innumerable, and the accommodations were super cozy/clean. We would love to stay again!

What a unique and interestingly place to stay! We loved the vintage and nostalgic decor - not to mention the record collection. The street is very quiet even though it is close to transit and walkable to the Distillery District. Kelly was very helpful answering questions and providing suggestions. We hope to be back.

Wholly recommend anyone to stay at this property. The location is absolutely perfect - a few minutes from a bike rack and park, Venice and Italy neighbourhoods and easy to get anywhere - but even more importantly, a wonderful, peaceful street with super sweet neighbours (who left a big printed and signed note on our door with recommendations of where to eat the following evening as we'd been talking in the garden!) The house is immaculate. Not just clean as you'd normally expect but perfect plumbing, electrics, everything ... super clean and fresh smelling - honestly, hats off to you and your cleaning people - just amazing. Jordan was super sweet, sending a message in advance wishing us safe travels and what time would we arrive and did we want anything. The house itself is awesome. We used the sauna every morning and night. Every bedroom was spacious and comfy beds and wardrobe space. Finally - loved the porch. Every night till early hours we sat out with a drink chatting :-)

What a gem! Tucked away on a quiet cross street. A delightful home with abundant feng shui and a delightful host with abundant attentiveness.

Amazing place to stay, feels like home, modern, clean, free parking! Great neighborhood, cute cafe and restaurants on Queen, went for a few nice runs, has a couple sunny afternoons getting sun in her gorgeous backyard. The house enjoyed the space, clean, modern, loved cooking dinner for me and my daughter, and we enjoyed relaxing in the evening with the fireplace downstairs. Amazing stay and would book again.

We had a fantastic stay! Even better than the pictures, the place was comfortable, clean, and very well appointed. Great neighborhood, walkable and close to restaurants, groceries, cafes and treats. This is a lovely ground floor apartment with its own garden. It’s spacious and clean and nicely decorated and the garden is lovely with local wildlife popping by! This is a nice part of Toronto generally, close to a lot of things but more green and quiet than downtown. Would recommend

I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was convenient, close to shopping malls. Francis's place was one of the best air B&B's that we have stayed it. it is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is easy to get to. The space was immaculate, and felt right at home. The beds are comfy, and the space had everything we needed. Francis was easy to communicate with. Would 100% stay here again

Hamid and Catherine’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend! The space was spacious, quiet, and clean upon arrival. Directions were clear and easy to follow, and Hamid and Catherine were kind and accommodating hosts. It was the ideal retreat just outside the city, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay.

Perfect 1bed apartment. Great location near the beach. We were visiting family nearby and it worked out perfectly for us to walk over there in less than 5 minutes. Eric-Martin keeps place spotless and has all you could ask for facility wise. Very flexible on checkin etc and nice guy. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Brilliant stay! Susanne and Fred are amazing and responsive hosts. A slight issue with a blown fuse was resolved within minutes! Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Toronto, easy to get to downtown Toronto using public transport. The appartment is extremely clean and offers everything you would need.

Beautiful and serene neighborhood - we really enjoyed our daily walks there. Lots of different types of restaurants and grocery stores - only minutes of drive away. The house is better than advertised, wonderfully spacious, and well designed with 7 bedrooms, 7 beds, 7 baths, perfect for family reunions or groups of friends. Susan was a great host. Her instructions and responses were timely, concise, and easy to follow. We had a magnificent time in the house and will definitely stay in it if it is available when we come back in the future.

Leijun is a very friendly sir with interesting life experience. We had a very impressive and happy chat. The room is very clean and comfortable. He has a lovely and big yard.
