Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Downtown San Jose

I really enjoyed our stay at this home. Everything was clean and the was great communication with our host. My favorite part about the home was the beautiful outdoor space. The fire pit and sitting area provided us with a nice spot to chill out and enjoy the chirping birds.

Its a great roomy place to spend a few days or more. We picked up a friend at the airport which was very close and convenient for us. Priyanka was a very nice host.

This house was wonderful for our extended family. The neighborhood is great for walking. The house is a classic home with spacious rooms, tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds, a great outdoor space (with hot tub) and super spaces for pool, Basketball and other games. It was hard to convince people to leave the house for other adventures. We loved our vacation here.

If you are in need of a place in this area, this is the place to go! Calm, close to a lot of amenities and more importantly a very caring host that goes above and beyond ti accommodate you. This was my second stay, which says about how good my experience was!

Our stay here was amazing, the space was clean, bright with lots of natural light, amazing private backyard. We came with 2 little kids and all had a great time, they provided us a crib which was ready to go when we arrived. They had so much fun playing outside! The hosts really thought about their guests and had so many household essentials available. Thank you!

Such a beautiful place!! Really a gem of a cabin with beautiful forest and creek surrounding, making it feel secluded and peaceful while still having a comfortable and clean place to stay. The place is just like the pictures and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including the grill, spa tub, and kitchen with all the necessities. All instructions were clear and easy to follow for everything in the cabin. There was a beach area for the creek about 1-2 min walk down the road with chairs and great area to play for kids along with the advertised play area for kids about 3-4 min easy walk across the bridge. Overall highly recommend whether you have little ones or not, plenty for everyone to enjoy!! We will definitely be planning a return visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Samara’s. Wish we were staying longer! The place was even better than described. We felt right at home, both because of the place and Samara’s hospitality. She was so communicative, kind, and accommodating. The space had everything we needed and everything worked well. The building is wonderful- nice gym, great little lobby for working, and a lovely outside space. Lots of spots nearby for food and drinks. Street parking was easy and we never had an issue. Would 100% stay again (and hope to).

We had a fantastic stay at Anna’s place. The location is unbeatable—right at Stanford’s doorstep and just a short walk from the field where I could go for a run. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The furnishings are high-quality and thoughtfully chosen; I especially appreciated the soft cotton sheets, the comfortable bed, and the spacious deck for enjoying the outdoors. Anna was a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and kind. This place is truly a gem!

Yunus was very helpful during checking in and out. If the house were little bit more equipped, that would be 10/10 but still value of money for this stay was great. Would definitely book again when I need a short stay.

Great host!

Maria Elena's studio apartment is perfect for two people. It is roomy and completely updated. The king size bed is comfortable and the mini-split heat/air conditioner is perfect for the changes in weather in San Jose. The neighborhood is peaceful, safe and walkable to a local grocery, coffee and restaurants. I recommend Maria Elena's apartment and will stay there again on my next trip to San Jose.

Lawrence was an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly and made sure to check on us via messaging during our stay. The property is comfortable and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. And also has many nice places nearby within walking distance! Would definitely stay at again!

Best place to stay in San Jose. Amazing

Megs place is really great in terms of location, newer house, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Shared bathroom was cleaned every morning. Meg was very responsive and my entire stay was very pleasant. She also offered laundry service (wash, dry and fold) for 10$ and was very worth it. The central AC was turned off during my stay but there was a fan inside the room and it got fairly cold at night so wasn't a big deal. I highly recommend the place and would stay here again.

I stayed for 3 months and couldn’t have been happier with my choice to stay here. Close to downtown, amazing food all around. The gate in front and the fact it was at the very end of a cul de sac made the place feel extra private. Would definitely recommend!!

Great home with gorgeous views of the redwoods!! We were all confused as to why there was no dish soap or trash bags to use, but it had everything else!!

This was a convenient location and Grace made the stay easy to book & check-in. Value priced and comfortable.

The best part of this place was the room in the back. It really was like an Executive Director suite. So of course my ED took advantage and took the room for himself. lol. We appreciate the extra blankets and we each had our own room.

Five knitting girlfriends had a perfectly wonderful 2 nights in this Tuscan Villa. It was charming, unique, well stocked and appointed. The surroundings and peace and quiet were so relaxing. The location was a great fit for the concert at Filoli and Half Moon Bay.
